Big thank you to everyone at Honey 🎉

The beginner series and calmer pace of the beginner friendly classes have been amazing.
Their pacing and options for easier poses when needed has been amazing for bringing safe mobility back in after a couple bad snowboarding injuries. My PT has certainly said it’s been helping with recovery.

Thanks!

Joining Honey Yoga 2+ years ago was the decision that moved the needle the most for my overall health and sense of community. Honey staff members swiftly check ego at the door which encourages everyone who walks through to follow suit. This is a special place with very skilled, knowledgeable instructors who understand the importance of challenging practitioners while keeping them safe and held. My practice is stronger because of joining, but the biggest win having joined is the very real community and belonging I feel every time I'm there. Honey Yoga friendships are for life!

I have 1 complaint PARKING. But aside from that I really enjoyed my class! I’m visiting San Diego. I have been running around in vacation mode & I knew I needed to slow down. I took a restorative yoga class and I feel great. I feel calm. I feel physically at peace. Arlene was at the front desk to check me in she has great energy & is super adorable. If I lived in San Diego I would return.

Did yoga with my bestie today for the 1st time in a long time. Jordana “Jordy” was our instructor today. She did such an awesome job. She assisted us with our poses. Her guided assistant made sure that we all did yoga right today and even though it was a warm yoga it was very comfortable and the vibe was stellar. I would definitely recommend this place even for beginners.

Finally found a space to learn/practice yoga that feels welcoming for all people, body types, genders, fitness levels, etc. Everyone has been supportive and motivating. So far I’ve enjoyed taking the beginners series which helps to get the fundamentals down and progress from there, as well as the slow honey class taught by Jomally which is slow but a tad bit intense and overall a well-rounded class for all levels. I love it here and happy I found Honey on my yoga journey.

I’ve been a member at Honey Yoga for 2 years now and I’m so thankful for the space and movement it’s afforded me. The teachers are so welcoming and friendly, and have helped me feel comfortable to practice at my own pace. I took the Prenatal series last Fall, am currently in the Baby-and-Me series this Spring, and can attest to Honey Yoga’s role in grounding me during such transformative chapters of my life. Both series especially helped me feel less alone in what I was experiencing physically/mentally/emotionally. Thank you Honey Yoga Team! 🩷

I struggle with chronic back pain and have spinal arthritis. I started PT but quickly learned that most of my PT exercises were yoga moves! A total newbie, I tried out their $55 for 3 weeks deal and in the first class I knew I had found my yoga community. This is a nonjudgmental, non competitive, diverse and positive space that I could not recommend more to anyone seeking a studio to join. I always get a good sweat going and feel challenged in the best ways. I notice they have heaters in there and very much hope to see hot yoga on the schedule at some point. Thank you to the Honey Yoga team for creating such an awesome community ❤️

Love love love Honey Yoga! The studio has become my retreat within my urban neighborhood. All of the teachers are thoughtful and approachable, no mirrors but yes candles and starlights, and the Hi/Lo class is the best! I only wish they had classes all day every day.

I started going to Honey Yoga a few months back after a couple year gap in practicing. I love this studio and everyone there. It's a wonderful community - I always feel better as soon as I step into the space, and of course at the end of a practice.
Very thankful to have joined!

a little late on leaving a review but I really enjoyed this studio and the variety of classes they offer. Every class I attended, the instructor was always helpful and super welcoming. The classes go at an easy pace to follow and this is the only studio where they said the instructor may be hands on and then actually was. I'm a beginner with yoga so I really appreciated the adjustments to my poses. parking is fairly easy to find too. If I hadn't moved states I would've liked to continue attending HIIT.

Honey Yoga has breathed new life into me. I truly look forward to spending my time here and in the month I’ve been a member I really have found that it’s my sanctuary. I truly feel amazing after each class, working out used to feel like such a chore but I swear sweating has never felt so good. If I had a bad day at work and need to release or if I just need to be in a calm, meditative state I know I can count on the wonderful instructors. They really encourage you to go at your own pace and are so patient. Each class I’ve taken has been great, but my highlights have to be
⭐️ Kaia and Rae’s Honey Flow
⭐️ Jaye’s Candelit Honey Hi-Low (my fav!)
⭐️ Jen’s Slow Honey (crazy good workout!)
⭐️ Any Honey Restore class
My only wish is that they offered more class times to their schedule, I work in the service industry so unfortunately I work when they offer most of their class times, but I try to make it to any class I can! Thank you Honey Yoga 🍯💛

Honey has helped my spirit come alive. From the moment I entered the studio I felt connected and home. Each instructor I’ve practiced with has been gifted with an ability to guide me through some challenging moments in which I needed to work out and heal. Each time I step on my mat and practice with these beautiful people the healing begins. I’ve had a lot of of pain in my life, physical and emotional and I’ve been on this healing journey and on my journey I found Honey and I’m so grateful I had. I love the tenderness of this place. I consider Honey one of biggest supports in my life’s journey, they’re in my life corner. ❤️ Thank you Honey crew for your embrace.

Feel bad to write this review but I was quite disappointed in the prenatal series. First of all, it was so hot in that room, I was actually surprised that they would even offer a prenatal yoga class during the summer without a/c. The instructor was nice but just not my vibe. I was hoping for a space to move and connect to my body, but we spent half of every class sitting on the mat, mostly listening to her and then each briefly sharing some details of our emotional state. it's lovely if you are looking for that, but I personally have other areas where I emotionally process and look to yoga as a physical release. important to note, that this prenatal series was one of the more expensive ones that I have signed up for. everyone at the studio was always extremely kind and friendly. I will definitely give the studio another chance, just not during pregnancy.

The vibe at this studio is amazing. I've always wanted to try Yoga but never felt comfortable enough anywhere until I came to Honey. I took my very first yoga class here and absolutely fell in love with how 'real' everyone at this studio is and 'real' is rare. For someone who's a complete beginner to the concept of yoga, I'm especially grateful that the instructors don't just show you a move but teach you its history, development and reasoning. This is not a studio you go to for a workout, this is a studio where regardless of your experience level you have the chance to transform a little each time.

Updating the review:
Been coming here for over a year now. Everything written before still applies. This is a solid neighborhood studio that is always trying to innovate by putting together new classes and events. There are some very intuitive instructors that I truly love! Most recently, the studio has had more frequent Women Circles, which is a very nice touch.

Been coming to honey yoga for the last month and feel both comfortable and challenged here. All teachers have the best playlists - have you done yoga listening to music? Game changer! They encourage you to tune in and approach your practice respecting your body and your limits. Adjustments are welcome. To invite that sort of body awareness, you don’t practice looking at a mirror. The studio can get pretty crowded, depending on the class but I guarantee you: it’s very diverse, people don’t look the same in age, gender, body shape, ethnicity, flexibility or years of practice. I love that! It normalizes yoga.

I'm new to this Yoga studio and I can truly say I have never felt more comfortable in a class. I am plus size and tend to worry if I will stick out or be made to feel awkward if I can't move as fast or gracefully as others, but I have not felt that way at all! You really can move at your own pace here. Not only are the instructors helpful and very welcoming, but the community of people that attend are kind as well :)

For years I had been seeking a studio that offered a wide variety of styles. Honey Yoga is that studio! You can expect a more traditional class during Honey Flow sessions, a great workout with their HIIT class, and the most relaxing experience with Honey Restore. I've been going to this studio since it opened. I truly appreciate the empowered, whole person focus of the teachers. It's not about doing the crazy poses (although you'll learn if you want to) but about aligning your mental wellness with your body's needs. I started at Honey Yoga when I was pregnant, just looking to get back into some light movement and find a yoga community that felt inclusive, warm, and welcoming. Honey Yoga was just that! In addition to the regular classes, I also joined the prenatal series and went through it almost twice (baby came early!). Now I’m enjoying the Baby and Me yoga class and the postpartum group they offer. I’ve recommended Honey Yoga to friends, and two of them have joined. All of the instructors are kind and knowledgeable, and they will help you with any modifications you need. Honey Yoga is a judgment-free space for anyone looking to practice yoga at any level. So glad my friend Solange recommended this studio to me! The studio is a wonderful, loving community that offers such a good variety of classes. I love that I can go one place for vinyasa, restorative, & prenatal yoga classes. They also offer a HIIT class for those looking for a more intense workout. I also love that they offer classes at different times of the day. So whether you are an early morning or after work fitness person you can find a class that works for you. As a first time mom to be the prenatal classes have been such an amazing place to come Sunday mornings to be in community with other women going through similar experiences. Also attending the prenatal yoga classes have given me the confidence to attend other yoga classes because I have been taught great modifications I can do during a regular vinyasa flow class.

After searching tirelessly for yoga studios that offered evening classes and (extremely) affordable prices, I could resist passing up the opportunity to try honey yoga out especially with the new student special they offered. When I first started attending I was beyond impressed with the way they run things and don’t pressure you into anything you’re not comfortable with. It’s also really nice to hear your name with a beautiful greeting every time you walk into the studio :) they really do have everything you need as a beginner or even advanced along with teachers who are all so unique and beautiful inside and out. I especially want to give a shout out to Jen who’s classes have made me feel so welcome and even when I’m feeling tired or not 100%, her attitude during class is contagious and you can’t help but have fun. Thank you all for creating a safe, fun, and welcome environment! <3

I've been shopping around for a local yoga option unsuccessfully, mostly finding environments with a vague sterile disconnect or feeling pushed beyond my abilities. At Honey Yoga, the instructors engage with their students in ways that exude kindness, reassurance, empowerment, and support. They provide instruction that focuses on meeting you where you are, celebrating your own wisdom, dispensing the perfect, descriptive cues, and teaching us tons. One example: after discovering how my mobility issues prevented me from a pose that was far from its intended appearance, I looked to Bridget in panic. She immediately noticed, and called me by name to reassure me the pose was “exactly right.” What kindness and empathy! I always get that post-yoga mental and physical peacefulness that only happens in those special studios...and this is coming from someone who really doesn't love yoga ;-) also—music is top notch. I've learned so much and am so glad I've finally found home.

I was so lucky to find this place. It is relaxed, has a great vibe, and the women who run it are very nice and laid-back. I have only been twice, but trust me, I will be getting a full membership and will be coming regularly. Their classes are good for all experience levels, and are challenging and relaxing at the same time. And don't let the name throw you; this place is great for men too 😊

The classes are great for varied yoga experience. The instructors are friendly and often incorporate requests. Plenty of props, space, and a water dispenser. There is a nice bathroom. One missing star only for no shower and a bit of noise from street traffic. That said, they do well to keep the vibe serene with sheer drapes and a nice level of music. Overall a lovely experience and a warm community.

Signed up for the 1 month of unlimited yoga for only $30 and I’m so glad I did! All of the instructors are awesome and super helpful to me as I had never taken a yoga class before. The studio is clean and spacious and the location is perfect for me. I’m only one week into my intro month, but I’m already certain than I’ll be signing up for additional months. Thank you Honey yoga for being wonderful!

Love this studio! I’ve taken my fifth class so far and can’t wait to come back. I love the variety of classes that are offered and how the flow is never the same. The teachers are so friendly and encouraging. I’m new to yoga and was intimated at the idea of trying it out, but all the teachers I’ve taken so far have made me feel so comfortable and will even sit/stand next to me so that I can follow right along with them! Can’t wait for my next class.

I've recently started my yoga practice with Honey Yoga and I'm truly enjoying the experience. The studio is clean, bright and airy and everyone is so kind. Yoga isn't an easy practice for me - actually harder for me than circuit training (I'm not very bendy;) but at Honey Yoga, I feel I am making strides with every class. There's no pretense or pressure in the studio and it's clear everyone is made to feel comfortable and welcome, no matter what level. I'm kind of obsessed with the 'Sunday Honey' class and 'Honey Restore' on Wednesday. I really am so happy I found this studio!

I am completely new to yoga, so new that my yoga journey started with Honey yoga opening their doors a few months back. This studio and its owners Bridgette and Olivia are absolutely wonderful and delightful. They are so warm and Inviting and I truly feel as if I’m part of a family. Also they always remember my name and greet my when I walk through the door! (Talk about accountability!)
The practices are well rounded, definitely a perfect fit for newbies like myself or those who can stand on one hand and can bend themselves into cute little pretzels. I am always supported and encouraged by the instructors and have never felt like I am out of my league with the great mix of skill levels in the practices. I actually enjoy having such different skill levels, makes me set goals farther then just being able to touch my toes!
They also offer classes to help focus on different elements of yoga practice which have been great as well. I always leave feeling inspired and loved. I’m so appreciative of these Honeys and truly love this gem in our neighborhood!

I signed up for the 6am class with Amanda via the MindBody Android app...5 mins before the class started haha...and bought the new client $30 for 30 package so I can be unlimited this month and try all the classes. Amanda's Honey 60 class was just what the Dr. ordered! I was on the island of Hawaii last week and hiked Waipio Valley's massively steep grade...my hamstrings have hated me ever since...until this morning!

The studio is so cute! They have all the "extras" you'd expect of a boutique yoga studio: Blocks, Blankets, Cushions, Aromatherapy, straps, dim lighting, even lavender scented eye masks and an Aloe Vera plant.

The studio is easy to find, and highly inviting. The website has great personality. And, I love their logo and brand...It's adorable, professional, and relatable.

Amanda's class was so great! She's an incredibly talented instructor. She gently corrected my form (with my permission), where needed, added the right pressure to intensify the stretches, where appropriate, and even closed with a light, relaxing head massage during Shavasana.

I'm looking forward to continuing my practice at Honey Yoga!
