I decided to do an update since I have changed since I started Hoops a few years ago.
I started at Hoops because I was out of shape, and the 30-minute classes really appealed to me. I also liked that there were plenty of short rest breaks. Over time, I became stronger and was able to do other fitness classes, but I didn't enjoy them. They were so boring and long. Doing multiple workout stations at Hoops works for my ADHD brain.
I also liked that you can buy passes. I am a bit commitment-phobic when it comes to month-to-month contracts at gyms, and I like that I can buy 20 passes that last 8 weeks. When it's done, I buy another set whenever I want!

I’ve been a member of Hoop’s for almost 3 years now, and I can’t say enough great things about their fitness program. The workouts are always fresh, hit every muscle group, and are wrapped up in just 30 minutes—perfect for a busy schedule. The community is incredibly supportive, and I’m so grateful for the friendships I’ve built here.
The coaches are top-notch—motivating, fun, and constantly pushing us in the best way possible. I also love supporting small businesses, and Hoop’s makes it easy. If you’ve been on the fence about trying it out, just go for it. You won’t be disappointed!

I started at Hoop’s Boot Camp and Fitness in June 2024 at 230 pounds. I started off weighing 400 pounds and once I got down to 230 pounds I felt like I was able to start working out. I wanted to build muscle and have a toned and strong body.
Immediately, when I started, Jason, the owner and his wife, Darla and their trainer, Amy were extremely supportive and accommodating to the fact that I was out of shape and needed modifications for almost every exercise.
I started coming multiple days a week and after a couple of months, I was able to start coming six days a week. The workouts are 30 minutes each, which is great because it doesn’t take up too much time in my day and they are great workouts that have made me feel and look stronger and healthier as well as feeling good about my body.
I have lost 90 pounds since I started at their gym and I have gained a ton of muscle and look fantastic now all thanks to Hoops Boot Camp and Fitness! I went from a plus size 5X to a size small. They’re wonderful owners and are great trainers. They are encouraging, supportive, positive motivating, and accommodating. I have never felt like they pushed me beyond what I was comfortable with yet their workouts are still challenging so that you can get results.
They are a family owned and run business. The class sizes are small, no more than 14 people per class and you rotate stations and every day is a different workout and challenge that focuses on lower body strength, upper body strength and core strength along with agility training and cardio.
The people that attend the gym are all very supportive and nice. It is a judgmental free zone. I have felt comfortable in this gym since day one and I have never felt that sort of comfort in any other gym that I have been at.
I highly encourage you to give them a try. I was given a four week free trial and after that another four weeks at a discounted rate of only $100. Their pricing is really great for a small gym. I only pay $130 a month for unlimited classes. They offer morning, afternoon, and evening workouts. Most of the classes only have around 6 to 8 people so you really get individualized and personalized attention which is really nice. They show you how to properly lift weights and will help you if you are not lifting weights properly so that you don’t injure yourself.
The gym is small, but it has everything that you need for a full body workout . They have a ropes station. They have weights of all different strengths. They have a TRX station, a med ball station, a kettle ball station, and step up boxes of various size, yoga balls and rollers, rowing machines, and much more equipment to be able to make each work out different but effective.
I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental and accommodating gym, with a small group experience, personalized support, and want to gain strength and a healthy body.

I was looking for a class that could challenge me and be fun. This class is both!!! It offers many different class times, especially for my busy schedule and you can get a great workout in , within 30 minutes. I recently took 2 classes for the first time and I love it. The instructors are very knowledgeable and the regulars are so welcoming. Come try it out! You definitely will not be disappointed.

I recently moved from Florida to California, and starting a new life has been quite stressful. I believe that relieving stress and improving health through exercise is one of the best ways to manage this. I had been searching for an affordable and effective gym, and after trying out a fancy gym with expensive membership fees, I realized it wasn’t for me. I didn’t want to waste money on a gym I wouldn’t attend regularly. Then I found this gym, and after completing a free one-week trial, I was hooked.
From the very beginning, the instructor, Jason, was incredibly kind and helpful. As a newcomer to the area, I really appreciated how welcoming he was, which made me feel at ease. Although the workout sessions last only 30 minutes, they are extremely effective. By the end of the class, I was sweating and feeling great. For example, if you book a 4 o’clock class, you arrive five minutes early, finish by 4:30, and within an hour, including the commute home, you’re done with your workout. It’s fantastic!
Jason teaches a variety of exercises each time, so it’s always fresh and engaging. The other participants are equally motivating, pushing themselves to do their best, which encourages me as well. Jason even gives us high-fives at the end of each class, which adds to the sense of accomplishment. His wife is also wonderful; she often joins the class, and we share high-fives after workouts too.
I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for an effective, affordable way to improve their health and release stress. It’s an amazing place that keeps you motivated and feeling great!

I have been going to classes for 3 months now. I like that the classes are only 30min & it is a whole body work out. More efficient than i would ever do on my own. Professional, knowledgeable trainers who can modify exercises as appropriate when it is too challenging or not challenging enough.

I have been going to Hoops Bootcamp for about 6 months, and would highly recommend it. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and design each workout to be challenging and fun. I've tried a few different gyms (self paced workouts) and home exercise, but have never been able to stick to a routine until now. I can definitely tell my strength and endurance have increased since starting bootcamp, and feel overall healthier. The workouts are a great way to start my day.

It appears my raving review under previous name has been deleted, so I am re-entering under the new name. This gym is ESSENTIAL and very clean. Each HIIT workout is different, challenging, and makes efficient use of 30 minutes. All coaches are great motivators and highly knowledgeable, experienced trainers. They keep a close eye to make sure you are doing exercises correctly, to avoid injury. In case you do have injury acquired from everyday life, they offer alternate exercises and suggest ways to help heal faster. Highly recommend!

I hate working out but I LOVE Hoops Bootcamp & Fitness! This is the only place I've found that meets my needs and has helped me to achieve my fitness goals. I've been working out with Jason, Mike, and Von for 4 years and I'm in the best shape I've ever been in as an adult. The 30 minute workouts are challenging, you're definitely not wasting any of your time. They change daily so you're never bored and the padded mat makes such a difference on my joints for HIIT training. I was a member of Lifetime Fitness and I quit because I definitely prefer Hoops Bootcamp classes. Starting any new gym is intimidating but this place is a welcoming fitness family for all levels. I challenge you to try it out! I've never regretted my choice and I don't think you will either!

After a long break with no exercise..Went to Folsom Fit Body Camp. Wow..I never thought i would be able to cop-up with a group(which were already fit looking) but the instructor made it so simple. Within two weeks i saw the results and now more than a month into it, i can keep going through the 30 mins class without much hassle. Good that i tried before signing up for a gym!!

Best boot camp in folsom. Daily 30 minutes HIIT exercises are challenging. These classes are not like gym instead uses body weight with other fitness instruments. Love working out here. Like I say its addictive classes. Big shout for Jason & Von.

I worked out here for five weeks. It has become such an addicting experience. There is ALWAYS challenge. If you push yourself, you will definitely see results, but trust me, you will have no choice but to push yourself. 30 minutes of intensive workout with a very dedicated couch/trainer and hungry-for-fitness group. I love it. I recommend it to anyone.
