I was going to this studio regularly for a month. The instructors are really good, but the studio is dirty. It gave me athletes foot on one foot (which I have never gotten and I shower directly after every class). Never going back! Please take sanitation more seriously, it is worth just getting a cleaning person once a month.

Hot yoga has been a part of my lifestyle for over two decades, and have been to different studios throughout the Bay Area, Bali and Thailand. I have never had an unpleasant experience from fellow students, teachers or management, until now.
I had been to Hot Yoga Plus Seacliff with my last attendance In June 2022. Over the past six months, I have received offers from Groupon to repurchase a two weeks or one month pass. Groupon also stated that I could purchase this deal an "unlimited number of times". See the picture. The instructor checked into class. About three hours later, to my surprise, I received an email from Seacliff informing me they were rejecting my Groupon and I owed for the class. I immediately replied and shared screenshots of my Groupon offer an invitation to repurchase. Instead of going back and forth, I informed them I would request a refund and not attend any more classes. After six days and their investigation, Groupon offered me a refund. A few hours later, I received a text message from Seacliff informing me I owed for two classes. It has now become petty and not so surprising, unprofessional, which I refuse to engage.
I intend to take further action as l believe Seacliff is engaging in manipulating business practices. They are offering a Groupon deal to customers, but giving them the option to use it for a regular-priced pass. I believe this is intentional because others have had problems using their Groupon.

I have been going to this place for over 10 years since they were still at the old location. They have been committed to both the yoga and local communities to promote a peaceful and healthy environment to the locals. โฎ๏ธ ๐

Congratulation :-)

Love coming to Samโs hot pilates classes - sheโs fun, energetic and is a great instructor. Iโm giving 4 stars because one of the classes I went to recently was over packed to the point where I was cm away from the people next to me. My suggestion would be to have a certain # of people per class.

Door was already locked at 12:29 for the 12:30 class. They do put in the instruction that you need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class to register, etc., but I wish this had been better communicated (when I went back to the registration email I got, it's in the fine print near the bottom. That's important information! Maybe it should be at the top?); especially since it's location isn't conducive to easy parking, etc. It was my first foray into trying to get back into hot yoga postpartum. So, my bad, I guess. Honestly, though, for the price, I don't think it's worth the hassle. It just felt very gatekeep-y to fitness.
TLDR: I wouldn't say it's "welcoming". At least, it wasn't for me. Spend your money/credits elsewhere.

It was my first time on Gary Boulevard, Iโm very familiar with become a yoga, I was a student on California Street years ago! My experience yesterday it Was the room,itโs really super hot I felt that it was way overheated and I fell very nauseous I have to step out after 30 minutes , and I could not make myself back in the room so I had to leave . and Iโm still recovering with so much pressure in my head, Iโm not coming back but everybodyโs there, is very professional very welcoming and plus you have to wear masks which is completely understandable :-) but with overheating room with your mouth and nose covered, for me it was impossible to breed, and you know yoga is all about breathing.
But like I said, troll disasters that I do the Bikram yoga that room it was way too hot but everybody it was wonderful
I do recommend the place but just be aware

I liked the studio but they closed many months ago and have done virtually nothing to communicate to their large group of former students when the new studio will open. Their phone is disconnected and their website does not give any explanation other than they expected to reopen it sometime in the fall of 2018. I look forward to going to the new studio and hope that the management will do a better job of communicating to their loyal customers when they will reopen.

i've been to many bikram studios and i really like this one. seacliff is clean and charming and classes aren't too crowded from my experience. jay is one of the best teachers in the city, i was stoked to see him teaching here after teaching classes from him in the Mission and now living in the Richmond. i like the strict-ness of classical bikram (super hot, no ins and outs, etc) and this studio honors that. definitely worth a "first timers" deal to check it out. Bikram's not for everyone, but you might fall in love.

The first time I went to Bikram Yoga, I wasn't that happy about it, I had expected more of a challenge. The next time I went, the trainer explained how I was suppose to breathe and focus my mind in order to get the utmost out of it. What a difference it made! It was the toughest workout I had ever did in my life! I truly recommend this place, both for the bikram yoga itself but also for the trainers.

This is probably my favorite place to practice bikram. Even though it smells inside, you honestly get over it (I sure did after about a week) and the teachers are awesome. I always feel so relaxed and cleansed after each class!

I love Bikram Yoga because it makes you flexible, removes all toxic waste from your body in the form sweat and keeps you healthy. The instructors were good , place was clean. The instructors were very supportive to new comers.

After a few months at another studio in Sunset, I started going to Seacliff and loved it. The teachers were awesome and the studio feels good. Parking can be tricky but I managed to find something every time I visited. I followed Christian to his studios at Daly City and now to San Mateo.

My advice: get ready at home, and shower when you get home! No need to be high maintenance and finicky while you're there. You're only getting in the way of your practice.
I love coming here... most of the instructors are amazing and each one has a unique teaching method that is always helpful to me.
Keep up the good work, guys!

This studio is pretty clean, but the instruction is inconsistent. My gripes are: 1. They are more expensive than other Bikram studios in the city 2. If you buy a class card (which is no deal!) they only give you a short amount of time to use the class card up, and they usually will not let you extend that time (without a fight with the owner). At Funky Door you automatically get one entire year to use up your classes (even if you buy a 10 class card). 3. The bathrooms are inadequate with only one shower and no lockers to put away your valuables 4. The teachers give you a bad time if you leave the room (which is not safe considering the room is well over 110 degrees). 5. If you are even one minute late, tough luck, you are locked out.
If you want great instruction and good prices, try one of the numerous studios in San Francisco, unless you have to find a studio in the Richmond. I love Funky Door, but there are many studios to choose from, so shop around.
