The monthly fee is too expensive,
yet the gym lacks activities and equipment.
There’s no Zumba or any workout that involves jumping, which helps burn belly fat faster.
The place itself is not good—it feels like a waste of money.

On top of that, there’s no treadmill, which should be a basic requirement in every gym. The equipment is incomplete, especially for legs—no leg press, mostly upper body machines only.
How can I improve my legs with that setup?

So many people at the gym aren’t even booked, yet they’re using the spot that’s supposed to be yours. You waste time and gas driving there, only to find you can’t even use what you reserved.
And when you talk to those who didn’t book, they’re the ones who get mad – almost guaranteed trouble.
To make things worse, there’s no manager around to talk to, especially in the morning (8–10AM). It’s so frustrating – it completely ruins your day.

Please fix this problem so that the time of those who actually booked isn’t wasted.

Overall, the place is boring and definitely not worth joining.

From the moment I walked in, Nicole was absolutely phenomenal! She immediately made me feel comfortable during my very first complimentary session. She took the time to walk me through the entire sign up process, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. Everything felt so seamless and stress-free, thanks to her!

The following day, I had the pleasure of meeting Audrey, and she was just as wonderful—super friendly, welcoming, and kind. It truly made the experience even better.

I’m seriously in love with HOTWORX! The concept of being able to work out in a private, infrared sauna room is everything I didn’t know I needed. I love having that personal space to focus on myself and my fitness goals without distractions. Such a unique and empowering environment, I’m hooked!

Wonderful workout studio with attentive and knowledgeable staff! I always feel amazing after my guided workout sessions in the saunas. I came in looking for workouts to help me through joint issues and I genuinely feel like my recovery has been faster since joining. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

I am SHOCKED to see such bad reviews. I have been a member since it opened and my husband and I LOVE it here! The owner Jackie is wonderful, the GM Rachel is amazing and so positive. The reward system is incredible, you can earn a $75 credit every 90 days! I don’t know any other gym that does that. Not to mention the workouts are like none other. Infrared sauna workouts open 24 hours a day?! I am so thankful HotWorx is here in Folsom. It has done wonders for my mental and physical health. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I never signed a contract with this company but they charged me $74 for 6 months under different names. Finally got a hold of the owner and he was very apologetic and promised he would refund the money. Since that promise he went MIA and has not refunded the money. Total scam.

I own 2 yoga studios - and I am sold on the Infrared healing benefits of HOTWORX, the peace and quiet of the saunas, and the overall uniqueness of this place. You must go in and take advantage of their free session in their saunas. You can either enjoy one of the many workout options or just relax and meditate in the healing space. There really is nothing like it out there. I was extra shocked at the membership price for unlimited classes, 24 hours a day. Truly a huge value when you look at nearby fitness facilities in the area and the added Infrared benefits. Truly a no brainer. I greatly appreciate how affordable they make this for everyone. I'd definitely recommend checking HOTWORX out.

I absolutely love this place! One of the few gyms open 24 hours, the staff are so sweet and attentive! Working out in a sauna is a whole new level of working out! I have joined many gyms, and this is my favorite gym by far!! Super relaxing, superb customer service, extremely clean, family friendly environment. So far I have only met Nick and he is so kind and accommodating! I recommend this place to everyone!

Random fact: I had accidentally crushed my right hand into a door and I had to put my finger in a splint. I was very concerned that I may had even fractured my finger.. but I learned that infrared heat can help heal my bones faster..

About 3 days after my injury, I came into Hotworx and mostly lied down and stretched gently.. after a couple days, to my surprise, my finger started to heal very quickly. My skin has been looking more elastic and youthful. I have been feeling much healthier. And overall I just feel way more relaxed and happy.

Where else can you work out with far infared heat 24/7? Nowhere. More importantly, as an almost 60 yr old who has never belonged to a gym it is most important I mention the wonderful staff who have been so kind and helpful to me and my son. This place is a game changer!!! It's clean , it's new and it's actually fun! Give them a try , you won't regret it

I was interested in signing up at my nearest location. I sent my info requiring about more information. A person named “Nick” reached out to me via text. I informed him that i was not interested in their “promotion”. And kindly said “no thank you”. I was continually harrassed. I asked Nick not to contact me, he continued. I was harassed via text msgs numerous times even after asking him not to contact me. I blocked his number at which time he immediately started texting me from another number. On these texts he tried to insult me and put me down. Even if i wanted to join, i would NEVER join now! Horrible, still cannot believe the audacity! Wow!
