What a great box and community! Was greeted by practically every member before we even walked in the door. Small space with a big heart! Saturday morning was packed but everyone worked together to find their space and get to work. Would definitely drop in again and so should you!

Joining House of Crossfit has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The coaches are uniformly knowledgeable and helpful and the community is supportive and friendly. The owner is responsive and has created a place where people feel comfortable but work hard as a group. This is not a "meathead" gym. The workouts change consistently and no other gym program has ever generated results like this for me. I am stronger, more mobile, and have more energy. I also see the change in others and that is inspiring to be around. This gym is also much less costly than other crossfit gyms locally so it's a bargain by comparison. I was never able to get this kind of motivation and results from LA Fitness or 24 Hour and I attribute that to the owner, the coaches, and the other members of House of Crossfit. It's been a consistently great experience for the last year.

There are much cheaper options out there for a better workout. When I joined the House of Crossfit, it was a buddy of mine had gotten shredded doing a similar boot camp program. workouts descent but I had to listen to him rave about it all weekend and I decided to give it a try. I actually worked out at a few locations. Every location will grant you a few free workouts to convince you to join. In total I worked out at this location three times, twice for free, and then once for $500!

When I walked in I didn’t know who was in charge so I started to ask a few of the people standing around who was in charge. The owner/ managers at House of Crossfit are more about the sale than they are their service. They brand themselves on the site as super friendly and amazingly nice, but that last as long as they are selling you a service, if you have questions or reservations about the service they can get kind of pushy.

I was only there for 3 sessions, and like I said the first two were on the house, and then I had decided to sign up. They prorated the first month for $99. I was only there that first week before I lost my job and left the Carlsbad, CA. area. The company proceeds to withdrawal three payments of $135 dollars from my account. When I asked for a refund, it was explained to me that all contracts are set up for auto-debit and that I would not be refunded my money. However there was no mention of the auto-debit feature when originally sign up. They make their money whether you go or not and that is all that they care about. They never reconciled my absence from class against the presence of my payments! I guess it is my fault for not cancelling the account sooner, but I am just glad that I caught it after only 3 months!

Be smart and explore cheaper options also in the area. The LA Fitness in Oceanside has better deals on trainers and group sessions. Plus the LA Fitness contracts aren’t as deceptive. Finally, I am a former college athlete, I work out pretty regularly, but I find the work outs there boring.

I had no trouble finding this place. This crossfit gym is great. They tailor all the workouts to anyone. First time I was here Nicole tailored it to just 2 rounds. Yes I threw up the first visit but it was great and gave been hooked everytime. Also, I have a really busy work schedule so the punch card was perfect for me.

Your website says you are located in Carlsbad. But your google place says San Marcos...you should update your information correctly since people can have a hard time finding you.
