I met Ian through a divine appt. I am one that have had a few injuries, surgeries, sit at a desk for work and other things. So when I met with Ian about my goals of anti sitting and the “limitations” that I currently have, it did not phase him at all.
He has worked with me in the last 3 months to strengthen the weak areas in my body.
The significant weakness is my neck as I had an injury on it awhile back and I’ve always been super careful with it.
The exercises that Ian puts together is sure to challenge me but not to the point that I’m cussing him out in my head. He pushes you enough in a careful way where you’re still able to function as a human being.
It’s wonderful to know that he is someone rooting for you in a cheerleader kind of way but he doesn’t have any pom poms.
He’s positive to work with and wants your success truly.
I highly recommend Ian. He is a true gem of a trainer and if he can work with someone like me that needed a lot of help, I’m sure he can help you too.
And maybe this is a sign for you to reach out to him before the holidays so that you can be sure to get ahead of those that are going to wait in the New Year.

Ian is an amazing trainer. He has great experience working with all adult age groups. We are seniors, and he is extremely knowledgeable about our needs. He also makes training fun. We work on different muscle groups each visit. We also work on balance and strengthening. Great trainer for sure !!

I have had the privilege of working out with Ian for several years, and I can honestly say that it has been one of the best decisions I have made for my health. Ian was assigned as my personal trainer when I was with a different gym. I came to him with multiple challenges that has stumped many personal trainers I have worked with. Among other health challenges, I have 2 separate heart conditions and a degenerative genetic disorder that causes my immune system to attack my collagen stores and connective tissues…both discovered in my 40s.
When I first started working out with Ian, I had a torn left knee and a left rotator cuff tear, as well as injuries to my left ankle, right knee, right shoulder, left elbow, and left wrist. As a result, my only exercise for some time had been physical therapy and I was very overweight, which was incredibly frustrating as a former ballet dancer who has always been active.
Ian rose to the challenge. He asked a lot of questions about my conditions, and clearly did his research. He has always come prepared with new and different ways to approach my workouts that are both safe, challenging, and effective. During our workouts he would help me with diet and fitness strategies that could help me at home, and he was always careful to coordinate with my physical therapists and doctors before introducing anything new to ensure that he never set me back in my recovery. I trust Ian 1000%, which is why I didn’t hesitate to follow him when he started his own personal training business.
My degenerative genetic conditions may be lifelong, but at 51 years old, I am healthier and stronger than I have been in decades. Today I am 60 pounds lighter, have the energy to keep up with my 9-year-old, and have been able to recover from my injuries without surgery…thanks to in large part my training sessions with Ian. So if you have been considering personal training with Ian, take the leap, even if you have medical issues and injuries. You won’t regret it!

Using my wife’s email: My wife encouraged me to work out with Ian because after a hip replacement, I had issues which lead to a lot of pain and atrophy of my legs and I was overall losing a lot of muscle. I am relatively fit and young (57), but I was very hesitant to do this because I didn’t want someone who would not take into consideration my hip, back and shoulder issues.
In the past a workout could lead to a week of pain and icing of my hip. However, working out with Ian did not lead to this. I worked out with Ian for 3 months, 3 days a week and the results were amazing. I am so much stronger, stand taller, and basically pain free. We worked on strengthening the stabilizing muscles that surround my hips, core and legs. Ian gradually increased the intensity of my workouts and I feel great. Ian tailored my workouts around me and didn’t do typical “cut and paste” workouts. If I showed up that day with an issue, he immediately changed his plan.
Ian is very mellow and easy going, yet pushed me during my workouts. If something didn’t feel right, we stopped and pivoted. If we didn’t have to go back home, I would continue working out with Ian. I highly recommend!!! Stop thinking about it and just do it!

Ian has been training me since 2023. Sadly, I have to relocate and can't take him with me, so this review is long overdue.
Ian is everything a client could ask for in a personal trainer. He's overall a great guy, knows his stuff, is personable, respectful, and professional.
He's not one of the scary, judgey, and unnecessarily intense meatheaded guys. Ian pushes me just enough but never too far, and I've gotten so much stronger for it. His style is more laid back, positive, and encouraging, which is ideal for my stubborn personality type.
He mixes it up, and the workouts are never boring. You can tell that he's passionate about what he does by the way he "nerds out" on the science of diet and exercise. Some of it goes over my head, but still, I've learned so much and appreciate the knowledge.
I find his meal plan very valuable as it was curated just for me. The meals are simple, tasty, and contain all the right macros for my fitness goals.
I can't recommend Ian enough. If you're thinking about giving him a try, just do it! He's not pushy or salesy at all, and you've got nothing to lose and your health to gain.

I have been training with Ian for a few months now. Ian is amazing, He's everything in a personal trainer that you could want. He always comes prepared. You can tell that this is his passion. He is non judgmental when I don't get a whole week of working out in or had a bad diet that week. This allows us to have an honest working relationship. I've really noticed a difference in my fitness level and I look forward to our sessions. You need to hire Ian as your personal fitness trainer!
