The instructors, Danielle, Marissa, and Maggie, are consistently kind, capable, and genuinely invested in each student’s growth. Maggie, in particular, has a rare ability to challenge and support at the same time — she somehow knows exactly when to nudge you a little further and when to help you find calm in the middle of all that effort.

Her adjustments are subtle but incredibly effective; they make me feel more confident exploring my own limits without pushing beyond what feels right. And just when I start taking myself too seriously, Maggie’s humor sneaks in — a quick comment or a smile that instantly lightens the pressure and reminds me why I’m there.

It’s the perfect mix of strength, mindfulness, and humanity — I always leave feeling grounded, capable, and a little more at peace.

Great down-to-earth yoga community! It’s so nice to have the option of outdoor (park) yoga or in-studio classes. All of the instructors are excellent.

Great studio and such a wonderful location to practice yoga. The instructor was welcoming and helpful, the class was such a nice way to start the day. Clean and comfortable studio space, I look forward to coming again.

The yoga is great! However, I have tried to reach someone at the studio for days/weeks now about my membership. I called, left two voicemails and even texted/ emailed. No one has gotten back to me. As a small business, I would expect a little more with customer support.

1st time yoga experience for me and was pleasantly surprised at the pace. Instructor Vanessa Benavides did an amazing job and made the class upbeat and fun. Definitely will try it a 2nd time.

I’ve been practicing with I Heart Yoga since 2016. I’ve tried other studios and while others are good, IHY is above and beyond authentic with the quality of their instructors and overall experience, whether in the harbor studio, in the park, or the Mexico retreat. You will be delighted and find an enjoyable experience for body, mind, spirit and community. Huge shoutout for my favorite instructors: Maggie, Elsa, Marissa, Eric, Shauna, Vig. Also, their drop in fees are very reasonable and the membership options are competitive and a great value too. ♥️

I💝 Yoga has a great vibe + workout in 1. It's on the harbor in Dana Point, which makes for an open and airy venue. The people were kind and welcoming. But most importantly the class was fun, infused with great upbeat 🎶 music (good music is #everything), and a great workout. There were all levels and ages in the class, so don't feel intimidated to jump in and give it a try.

I stumbled upon this wonderful yoga studio when I was on vacation here in Dana Point. I signed up easy peasy through their website for a drop in class and enjoyed it very much. From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and cared for, the instructors are so kind, they really want you to have a great experience. Through my vacation I attended two in-studio classes and one “yoga in the park” which was quite spectacular and was a highlight of my vacation, I enjoyed it so much. David and Marissa are the two instructors I had the pleasure of working with and I can’t wait to return to this incredible yoga studio the next time I’m in town. This place truly nourishes my soul! Elsa also reached out to me via text and made sure I was comfortable and could get in touch with them if I had any questions. If I lived in this area I would absolutely be a monthly subscriber which I feel is a very good value. If you are looking for a yoga studio in the Dana Point area, iheartyoga is an excellent choice that you will really enjoy! Their yoga studio windows that look right onto the lovely harbor was also a bonus that I just loved.

I guess I’ll be a recluse and do yoga at home since yoga in the park isn’t free anymore. 🤷🏻‍♂️

GREAT vibes here. Come as you are, all the instructors are encouraging and helpful. Their customer service was incredible. I’ve been SOL with other yoga studios when it comes to last minute cancellations and what not and they were super responsive and accommodating. Also their boutique is SO CUTE, and I buy last minute birthday gifts and outfits for myself at very reasonable prices. They have a great buyer. I’ve loved my experience at iHeart.

I just had my first class at i heart yoga and was blown away by the community. Everyone was friendly! The entire time we were all laughing and smiling while sweating and challenging ourselves (this was a vinyasa class) our instructor made sure we had a quality cool down and time for meditation. The environment was open and clean! You even get a view of the harbor! I will definitely be back for the vibes!

Best community in town. It's so much more than just a yoga studio. All of the different types of events I Heart Yoga offers are so much fun. The instructors are some of the best around. Come for the yoga. Stay for the community.

I recently moved from Newport to Dana Point and was in search of a studio with yoga but also some classes that incorporated weights/ barre. They seriously have all of it- and the yoga classes aren’t “diluted” so to speak. A lot of times when yoga studios incorporate barre/weight classes, the yoga program lacks spirituality and breath focus. Not here :o)

Other pluses are free parking, location on the harbor (classes with a view!) and cost. I was paying $75 for 5 classes a month in Newport/ or $109 for unlimited. It’s $89 for unlimited classes per month here- so refreshing!!! Happy to have found this place- and can’t wait to try the SUP yoga!

After researching all of the studios in Orange & San Diego County, I chose I Heart Yoga for my 200HR RYT Training. The training was fun, challenging, transformative, and prepared me well to begin my own teaching practice. We had fun excursions including Kundalini yoga, Ayurveda, anatomy, etc. Elsa (the owner) and Bree (a co-founder and teacher) led me and 9 other girls through our intimate training program.

Elsa is a strong, disciplined, and precise leader. Not only is she the one to start the fire on the dance floor, she's an inspirational and thoughtful entrepreneur that makes business look like a walk (or yoga) in the park.

Bree is a patient, peaceful, and gentle soul. She is flexible in accommodating others, the first to pick up on the emotions of others, and helps others see a better version of themselves.

If you're considering a yoga teacher training or just stopping in for a yoga class, you will not be disappointed. Hands down the best community and studio I've been to in California. Keep it up iHeartYoga!

I am visiting Dana Point and found iHeart Yoga online. Yoga in the park sounded divine. One week in and three classes later all three instructors have been great! The views of the harbor and the ocean only add to the experience - a must if you love yoga!

They offer yoga in the park M-F at 10am and M-Th at 5:30pm with a $8 donation.
