I don't even know where to start … IHT Factor has honestly been one of the best decisions I've made for myself.

First off, it has been the most incredible experience going there and doing the classes. The energy in that gym is unreal. All of the trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, positive, outgoing, and genuinely friendly. You can immediately tell they know what they're doing from the way they explain movements, to how they watch your form, to how they push you without ever making you feel judged.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Shane. He did my initial consult and really took the time to go over my nutrition, my training regimen, my goals, and my lifestyle. He developed a program for me that has created such a dramatic transformation in just one week. My sleep is better, my energy is through the roof, my mood is more positive, and I feel noticeably stronger already.

What I love is that it's not just "go work out and good luck." It's the habits he's helped me build into my daily routine he way I eat, how I structure my day, how I recover, how I think about my body and my health. It truly feels like a lifestyle shift, not a quick fix.

The classes themselves are challenging in the best way, but also super fun. The community is welcoming, the coaches actually learn your name, and you never feel like just another person in the room. I leave every session feeling proud of myself, supported, and excited to come back.

This place has genuinely been a blessing for me physically, mentally, and emotionally. If you're on the fence about joining, don't overthink it. Just go. IHT Factor is the real deal.

Update: Two Weeks In — 10 Sessions (Mon-Fri x 2 weeks)
After my initial session, I jumped right into the APEX package with clear goals in mind: to become more athletic and improve my cardiovascular health. The start of week one was a challenge, but I acclimated to both the workouts and the high elevation simulation. By my fifth session, I was feeling stronger, more energized, more in tune with my body.

Kicking off week two, I’ve noticed a huge boost in my endurance and cardiovascular capacity—mind and body syncing, I’m more aware of my athletic potential - excited for continued results and benefits. Every session is impactful, pushing me closer to my personal goals. One thing I appreciate: the coaches consistently switch up the workouts and machines, so no session ever feels repetitive.

As someone who’s 6’3”, 250 lbs., coming from mostly weight-lifting routines, I can honestly say the coaching here is accelerating my fitness, athleticism, and overall well-being to the next level. IHT Factor Training is like nothing I have ever experienced!

First off, the trainers look like superheroes, minus the capes. You are greeted by the Avengers… I mean trainers, and begin doing some light breath work.

You walk into the workout room and the vibe is set! Cool lights, loud music, and enough equipment to get your body absolutely destroyed.

There are multiple trainers circulating the room to keep you in good form, motivated, and to check your breathing.

IHT Factor simulates high altitude so its feels like you are working out at 11,000 to 14,000 feet. There are a multitude of benefits to training at high altitude, one being that you are burning more calories. After the workout your mind will be razor sharp for hours.

If you are ready to throw down the gauntlet, Fight Labs will humble you, the Hyrox workouts are intense, and Saturday’s are a challenge! After the intense workout, take advantage of their premier recovery including; cold plunge, infrared sauna, and Therabody equipment. They also offer free 90 minute parking.

After a few weeks of IHT Factor any other workout I did seemed too easy. It was almost like being a superhuman, minus the cape.

So eff 45 and go with this rotating array of high altitude training classes. IHT Factor will have you becoming your best self in no time!

Hands down the best workout I have done in San Diego in the last ten years. The workouts themselves are designed to push you past your limits, in an oxygen deficient environment which is no joke. However for me, the real difference maker at IHT FACTOR is the badass energy that exists from the moment you walk in the door. The coaches/ partners hold you accountable all day and the community of people who attend the workouts are all likeminded, intensely driven individuals. It’s a great circle to be in and certainly a winning one. I’ve been introduced to chiropractor, stretching coach, wellness doctor all within the network of the gym. my times on Spartan race have improved and am training for HYROX as IHT is a HYROX affiliated training gym. Some lifts I saw an increase 40% in six weeks. Very happy I found IHT and got it into my morning routine before getting after the day.

Here are some real IHT Factor results for you: I have been going to the same nail tech for 3years. Today, while doing my pedicure, she asks me if I’ve been exercising more because she can feel my calf muscles. I started IHT Factor 3 months ago. That’s the only change I’ve made in my routine. And in 3 months this woman, who has been giving me the same pedicure service for 3 years, noticed the change in my muscles. Add on to that some of the greatest humans on this planet as coaches and the most fun and uplifting community in San Diego and you’ve got the best dang gym you’ll ever find!!

I love Air Locker! The altitude training is like nothing I have ever experienced. Not only is it challenging physically, but mentally as well. I am not a super athlete or a size 4, and this workout is very inclusive for all shapes and sizes. The coaches are really what keeps me coming back! Extremely supportive and they genuinely want you to succeed! You can tell they are passionate about this training. I started off 2 days a week and can already tell an improvement in my midsection. Let me start off by saying I usually hate workout classes as the gym is where I go to escape and not talk to anyone. Air locker training is the ONLY group setting I have ever enjoyed! Working out at a higher altitude like you do in the class is such a different experience and is probably one of the best workouts I have ever done! Not only is the workout phenomenal but everyone that works there is great as well! The trainers Evan, Nick, Joey and Shane are all amazing and you will love taking each of their classes. They make the environment feel so welcoming and their energy is unbeatable and really gets you in the mood to workout. I love how they don’t only focus on the amazing workout but they also work on mental health. They always end the class with motivational quotes along with breath work that really gets you ready for the day. Savy is the nutritionist you also get to work with and she is amazing as well! They keep the place super clean and they also have saunas and ice baths for you to use. You have to go checkout this place for yourself, you won’t regret it! :)

I’ve tried every workout class under the sun and NOTHING compares to airlocker. It’s an incredible experience every time. The workouts are challenging since it is a high altitude environment, but after a few sessions your body adapts quickly. No joke, after being a part of their week long resilience challenge I felt so much stronger already… mentally & physically. I reached a big plateau (and boredom) in my regular lifting regime and this has been an unreal way to gain strength and endurance. I don’t get winded going up stairs anymore (lol) and runs are so much easier. It’s also an amazing feeling after you get through a challenging class which translates positively throughout the rest of your day/week with whatever you have going on in your life. If I’m ever in a mental rut, coming here changes the game for me. No more brain fog & a much bigger tolerance to handle any daily stressors. A big part of what makes airlocker so amazing are the trainers who push you past your limits & guide you through breathwork before, during & after and are so motivating all while throwing some great humor in the mix. Very uplifting, positive energy always. They have created something very unique and special. I’ve only been coming to this gym for a week, and I’m honestly amazed at how much of a difference I’ve already felt. No kidding—after just one week, I’ve noticed a significant change in how I’m handling my stress. I work in a high-pressure job, dealing with constant deadlines, budgets, and a lot of people. The stress is inevitable, but since starting these classes, my anxiety has dropped. My stress levels are still there, but I’m handling them much better now. It’s like the stress doesn’t affect me as much anymore.
On top of that, I’ve lost 4 pounds and 3% of fat. And let me tell you, that’s no easy feat for me since I’m already on the smaller side. The classes are challenging but in the best way possible, and the results are speaking for themselves.

I typically attend the 8:00 AM classes, and every time I finish a session, I feel like I’m ready to take on the day with so much more energy and focus. I attended my first class at Air Locker and, as someone who frequently skis and mountain bikes at elevations around 10,000 Ft., I thought the altitude training would be a breeze. I booked the fit/dynamic upper body pull group session on ClassPass during my visit to San Diego and really enjoyed the class. The staff and the instructors were super welcoming and friendly. The workout and the sequence of exercises were designed in a way to target the right muscle groups with appropriate pace/ intensity. The workout in a an elevation simulated environment was something I tried here for the first time and the experience definitely was cool and you feel the additional pressure for the same exercise routine. The instructors check your oxygen level couple of time and it may drop to 80-85. The facility also offers a recovery room with sauna, massager, cold plunge, etc. There is also a body measurement scale that you can try and get a detailed report of your body (weight, muscle/ fat mass/ percentage, etc.). I recommend this gym and look forward to visiting it again in my next trip to SD.

Air Locker Training is the best studio gym I've been to! Besides the unique and challenging workouts, the coaches are incredible. There's multiple coaches in the class to regularly check your form, keep you motivated, and educate you about the gym's philosophy. Coming from a background of being a collegiate athlete NCAA Div 1 and now in my 40’s this has become my new favorite workout. This is the only studio in the U.S. that does this type of altitude training. Training at about 12k feet above sea level is no joke. You learn how to start breathing correctly and lean into the discomfort. Working on that mindset is crucial, your mind is such a powerful tool. Last year was very hard for me. I lost my uncle in June, I was in a horrible car accident a few months that which left me bedridden and then my mother passed away in December with all of these unfortunate events I gained 65 pounds over 8 months.

I walk into air locker training and from day one Shane and Evan have been lock step with me getting back my life and health.

As a former bikini competitor, I have been primarily focused on strength training over the last several years. THERE IS NO GYM LIKE ALT-SD. But seriously, the altitude simulation makes each work out more challenging in the best way. The coaches are so attentive and encouraging which makes class feel like working out with friends. This isn’t just for athletes, I’ve done classes with young people, moms trying to get back into shape, or people like myself “has been” athletes just looking to get in amazing shape again.

You’re literally doing the same workout you would do in another (insert group training gym) but getting stronger, and burning more calories at the same time from training at altitude. My gfs and I love coming together, doing the breath work at the end, then grabbing a coffee at Starbucks next door.

Needless to say my favorite San Diego gym (and I’ve been to a lot)
