I can't say enough good things about this gym. When I first joined, I was dealing with persistent back pain and honestly feeling the wear and tear of being almost 40. Fast forward a few months, and I feel stronger, healthier, and more energized than I have in years!
The trainers here are incredibly knowledgeable and actually listen to your needs. They helped me build a program that focused on mobility, strength, and posture—without pushing too hard or risking injury. My back pain has improved dramatically, and I’m finally able to move without discomfort.

The search stops here! This is it!! The gym is super clean and they have amazing trainers. I have absolutely loved my experience at Impact One Fitness! Ali and Micah have tailored my training needs to meet me where I am at through out my fitness journey. I started with them when I was getting ready for my wedding and they have helped me heal and regain strength both physically and emotionally after 3 kids. I have used their mindset program to help create attainable and sustainable goals while building a more positive outlook on myself. Their nutrition program has helped me lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way while building muscle. I have done both small group and private sessions, both maintain a very personally tailored environment. Ali and Micah are extremely knowledgeable, communicative and supportive. This is as good as it gets for private training and this review is long overdue. You know when you find a place so good you almost want to keep it to yourself ....I have been training with Ali for more than 10 years. Ali and Micah have helped me recover tremendously over the years, from issues with low back pain to pelvic floor discomfort after having babies. There's nothing like feeling good in your own skin , being fit and healthy. Not to mention she is just the right amount of compassionate, motivating and fun which makes me look forward to every session. The facility is always clean with a relaxed atmosphere, and they play great music. I love the option of semi-private training which is 2 on 1 because you still get the attention you would get from a private training session, but the cost makes it affordable so you can actually keep going with it instead of overextending yourself and not getting to reap the benefits as long.

As someone looking at maintaining strength and agility in middle-age, iI cannot praise Impact One Fitness, Ali, MIcah and Eli, enough for their knowledge and training to help me meet these goals. My fiancé and I were looking for a personal training service that could help us be in overall good health and found this gem just near us on Ventura. The team there is super knowledgeable and friendly and have become a wonderful addition to our lives. The group training is fun and highly personalized, which has helped us build muscle and loose weight in a quick amount of time. We especially like our trainer, Thomas, who is very friendly and encouraging and knowledgeable. His clases are hard but really fun and worth the sweat!

I LOVE Impact One Fitness! I seriously can’t stress how amazing the team is here! The gym has multiple professional and knowledgeable trainers. Ali and Micah are amazing and know what they’re doing, they're the best trainers i’ve ever had! Since i’ve started my journey at IOF, i’ve seen a huge increase in strength and flexibility. I had a problem with my hip movements before joining impact one, and they quickly helped me fix and regulate it! I’m feeling overall more stable and capable! But most of all this gym has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. It can be challenging creating a fitness routine during your busy schedule and extremely intimidating. However, this gym is so much better than I could’ve imagined. You can truly tell they care about their clients on a deeper level and want them to be healthy and happy. I found this studio after struggling to find a personal trainer that fit my goals. As someone recovering from burnout, I wasn't interested in goal weights or intense "bootcamp" style workouts. I just wanted to build back my strength.
What I love about One Impact Fitness is their focus on longevity. My intro with Micah was about creating sustainable strength for a long, healthy life. It was a refreshing change from conversations I had with other personal trainers that focused on aesthetics. It has a welcoming atmosphere & non-intimidating environment. The trainers and other members don’t treat you like clients you feel more like friends. The conversations make the workouts go faster :) My strength has increased faster than I thought, and the process feels empowering, not punishing.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 6 months now, and I can honestly say it’s the best fitness decision I’ve made. I started out coming twice a week, but I bumped it up to three times a week because I’ve been enjoying it that much. The place is always super clean, parking is easy, and everyone is really supportive. Thomas and Jorge are my trainers, and they’re both fantastic—always invested in your progress and great at tailoring the workouts to fit your needs and goals. The overall vibe is positive and motivating, and I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t be happier with the team of trainers. Each trainer is more knowledgeable than then next. I’ve had the chance to work with each trainer and don’t ever have a preference because everyone on the team goes above and beyond to make sure you’re getting the most out of your workout. What I really appreciate is the focus on doing everything correctly as opposed to just rushing through or lifting heavier. I’ve lost quite a bit of weight and have increased muscle mass in the few months I’ve been with the gym. I look forward to going in every time I do.

I honestly love it at this gym. The owners and trainers are incredibly encouraging, kind, understanding and knowledgeable. The sessions have a vast amount of variety. They are very efficient in targeting different muscle groups as well as goals. Sessions can vary from challenging to a bit more laid back but you always feel fulfilled that you got a fantastic workout. I highly encourage anyone to join. I generally don't enjoy exercise but every few years, when I get sufficiently disgusted with myself, I make a vow to get in shape. I hit that wall in July 2019 and, on a whim, called Impact One to make an appointment and haven't looked back since. The program Ali and Micah devised for me has resulted in a real, discernable change in my body - all for the good. I've lost 20 lbs. and 18 inches! Never thought I would enjoy the time I spend exercising, but it's become part of my daily routine and I'm thrilled. All of the trainers I've worked with are incredibly supportive of the effort I'm making and that's helped me, too. I initially joined this gym to regain some strength after having a baby and I have now been a member for over a year. Every time I walk in, I feel welcomed and supported. Love working out with Ali. I was looking for a challenge but also to make sure my form is correct so that I don’t get injured. Ali is super knowledgeable. Especially for women’s health, pelvic floor strengthening, menopause, building muscle in your 40’s, AND aging FEARLESSLY!

Update 2024: I’ve written a review before but wanted to add a new one under fun new circumstances, PREGNANCY training! Just about two years ago I returned to impact fitness to focus on strength training as I wanted to feel really good and focus on my health as I tried to get pregnant. I got paired with trainer Thomas and have worked with him from before I got pregnant all the way up until a a week before I delivered 6 weeks ago. Greatest gift I gave to myself and Thomas is such an amazing trainer. He really individualized everything and we collaborated if I had any pregnancy related aches or pains. I don’t know if I just got super lucky or it was thanks to all of our training but I only pushed for 15 minutes and this was baby #1! The nurse and doctor both asked if I worked out during my pregnancy. Super grateful for the whole Impact Fitness team. Can’t wait to get cleared to come back!
2019 Review: Definitely cannot find a better private gym in the valley with the best individualized training. I absolutely love the group classes. There is usually 4 people which helps keep the sessions more affordable for me and the energy from the group is really motivating. We hype each other up! The workouts are usually well rounded and if you ever feel like you aren't comfortable doing certain movements the trainers will help modify them for you. This is the most supportive group and I always feel my strongest and most confident when I'm working out with them!

I started training with Micah & Ali about a month ago, coming from a background of never having exercised before....like ever. From my first session, they built a personalized training plan tailored specifically to my strengths (or lack thereof), fitness level, and personal goals. I’m truly impressed by how they’ve structured everything for gradual, yet noticeable, progress.
In just a month, I’m already feeling stronger, and I can actually see muscles forming in places I didn’t even think possible! Every week, they increase weights and introduce new exercises targeting different muscle groups to challenge me without making me feel overwhelmed. They really know how to push me in a way that keeps me comfortable and confident.

We could not recommend Impact One Fitness more. I spent a lot of time over the last few years researching gyms and trainers in the area. I didn’t have much luck finding an environment that I felt both challenged and comfortable in. My husband and I felt such relief after finding this spot, like we could finally settle in. I joined Impact One Fitness six months ago. I work out twice a week in the small group training sessions, four clients max, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve found that as I age, even though I’m still in pretty good shape, I need a bit of extra motivation to continue to stay this way. Their exercise regimes are tailored to your specific strength and weaknesses. The trainers are knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. The owners Ali and Micha, who are both excellent trainers, are always up beat and motivating. Since starting at Impact One. I have improved my flexibility, and more importantly, I’m motivated to workout on the non- Impact One Fitness training days. This gym has beyond exceeded my expectations! If you are wondering if you should join, do it!! You will not regret it. You will start to feel and look amazing if you stick with it. I have been working out with Ali since February and have lost a few pant sizes and I can wear tank tops again! I feel so fit and strong and love working out with Ali! I look forward to our training sessions and love seeing the results since I have been consistent. Even with an out of the country vacation for two weeks, I came right back to training and saw even more changes. So exciting and so addicting to feel strong, healthy, and fit! They are professional and thorough in assessing your fitness to tailor a program to meet your goals and abilities. Im 60 and have worked with other trainers and many use a one size fits all program, training a 60 year old like a 25 year old. I really appreciate they have an app that shows the exercises as well as the scheduled workouts. My workouts are well rounded to include strength, cardio, flexibility, and balance. Its evident they have many loyal clients that have been training here for many years multiple days per week as I do. Highly recommend.

Whenever I need to let off some steam and get a great work out… I love coming to Impact One. Love and appreciate this local gym. The staff and trainers are so amazing. Thomas, Micah, and Jorge are all super amazing and wonderful people. The work outs are not super hard where it hurts and messes your body up, but just enough to make sure you see the results (if you’re consistent). Love my workouts here! The gym is always clean and the sessions start on time. The trainers are very friendly and ensure I perform all the exercises correctly. I have been working out at Impact One with Micah, Ali and the Impact One team for over 4 years now. When I first started training at Impact One I was physically uncomfortable and new to excercise. The team made sure to always modify excercises for where I was at physically and always made sure to check my form. Impact One is really one of the best gyms with some really knowledgeable trainers on staff. There are tons of great equipment, professional staff, the place is always clean, and trainers are really caring. I got my health on track by just showing up and following their routine.
Its very easy to book sessions, they have packages that are personalized by clients, and really focused on helping clients reach peak physical health.
My doctor noticed a significant drop in my blood pressure and A1C based on my training sessions and weight loss.
I like that working out there is without judgement and everyone is so nice and friendly and want you to succeed and be healthy. Really great facility.

Impact one is the most professional training place I have never been to. Owner Micah is so great. He always check with us to see how our training goes on. The BEST gym!! I came across Impact One through the recommendation of my bf and WOW!!!! Ali and Micah are not only amazing trainers but also amazing people. They’ve perfected making a personal training gym feel more like a family. Everyone at the gym is so friendly and supportive. If you want a trainer look no further, seriously. Ali and Micah have decades of training experience and have loyal customers that have stayed with them that long. Sean is also a great trainer here! It is a small enough gym that you "know everyones name". They tailer workouts to your limitations and goals and really care about your results. I have been training at Impact One Fitness for almost 4 years and I absolutely love it! Being 59 years old, I originally joined to improve my bone density. I have done that, and so much more... feeling stronger and more fit than I have in years. Ali and Micah are extremely knowledgeable in all areas related to overall health and fitness... always making sure each move is done correctly. If this sounds familiar then my recommendation would be to do yourself a huuuuge favor and check out Impact One Fitness. You will not regret it! My husband and I joined this wonderful, boutiquey gym about 6 months ago and we have been super satisfied with the decision as we’ve been feeling and looking better without having to worry about answering any of the above questions. We show up and are dedicated to put in the work and the trainers do the rest. We started with 2x per week but soon after we added a 3rd session as it became very obvious to us from early on that this is a gym that we want to be a part of in the long run. Not only every single trainer (including owners Ali and Micah) are super knowledgeable and adjust the workouts to address any issues (old or new) but they’re also genuinely fun, friendly people that you want to be around.
If you're looking to recommit to getting your body healthy and in shape, or if you want to take your training up a notch, you should check out this gem of a gym.

We started working out with the crew at Impact One almost 6 months ago, and our experience has been genuinely fantastic. The trainers (there's a crew of 4, including the owners Micah and Ali) are all fantastic at what they do: they're knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and genuinely fun. They make it much easier to pull yourself to the gym and ensure that you have an effective and enjoyable workout once you're there.
If you're choosing between joining a typical gym and going for the kind of private, individualized training provided by Impact, I'd strongly encourage you to seriously consider the latter. For us it has made the difference between committing to 3 great workouts per week compared to usually just skipping the gym altogether or at best doing an incomplete workout.
Our results have been great - lower body fat %, feeling stronger and altogether better.

I have been working out with Impact for about a year now and have lost over 50lbs. I was always overweight and tried everything to get healthy and the combined healthy eating program and trading has just made the muscle grow and the pound fly off. I went from not doing any physical activity to now being addicted to going to the gym. I started off in private one on ones three times a week where they really focused on teaching me about how my body moves and how to properly do all the exercises. After 3 months I built my confidence and started group training session. I love this gym! Everyone asks how I lost the weight and the only two words out of my mouth are Impact One Fitness. I can not say enough good things about this place! 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend!

I have been working out with Micah and Ali for about 5 years now with the simple goal of gaining strength. I've felt much stronger since, however, there was never really a way to measure how strong I've become until just recently. I've never been a runner, but I signed up for my first half marathon around the same time that I started training with Impact Fitness. I was so worried about the run that, in spite of Ali's strong advice to continue my training with them concurrent with my training runs, I felt I had to spend my time gaining miles instead. So I took a break from Impact Fitness to focus solely on running during my half marathon training. Although I completed the run with a fairly decent time, I was also injured. I've signed up for several more half marathons since then, and each time I would handle the training in the same way, focus solely on my running, and each time it would end with injuries, hip pain, knee pain, ankle pain, etc. I didn't know what I was doing wrong and even felt that perhaps running wasn't my thing--until just recently when I started training for a half marathon which I ran just last weekend. This time I followed Ali's advice of continuing my training with her while I also did my miles throughout the week. I'm so glad I did! As a result of her advice, not only did I have zero pain and zero injuries after completing my running event (10k on Saturday and a half marathon on Sunday), but I also beat my own personal records for both runs AND met my long term goal of completing a half marathon under two hours! I was ecstatic!! It was also the first time I didn't hobble across the finish line but actually finished strong and felt like I had excess energy afterwards. It was a true testament to the strength I've gained since working out at Impact Fitness. I would not have been able to achieve this goal without them. After trying, for years, to do this running thing on my own, and suffering injury after injury, I have no doubt that Impact Fitness put me in the shape I needed and the strength I've wanted to finally succeed in my runs by cross training with them on a regular basis. Not only are Ali and Micah great trainers/coaches, but they are an integral part of my overall health and well-being and I'm so grateful for them. I can't recommend them enough! I'm walking (running) proof that they know what they're doing, and they do it well. They've taught me the importance of balancing workouts for the most gain. In other words, they'll work on every part of the body so you'll improve everywhere, as opposed to focusing on one muscle group (as most people tend to do when working out on their own). They know their clients' strengths and weaknesses and will adjust their training accordingly. After this last half marathon, I posted my time on facebook and thanked Impact Fitness. A friend of mine who also ran this half marathon asked me "How in the world did you manage that time and WHAT is this Impact Fitness?" This is why I felt strongly compelled to write this review, because people need to know WHO Impact Fitness is and WHAT they're capable of doing for the average shmo like me! Even if running is not your goal, training with them will make you feel like you can accomplish anything as long as you stick with it. I've never felt stronger, or more confident, and I owe it all to them!

My experience at Impact Fitness has been nothing but AMAZING. I Joined in May and quickly fell in love with them. I love the group training because you find motivation working side by side with other clients. Although it is group training, it's no more than 4 or 5 individuals and I still get the attention I need. I've done your typical big gym training but never followed through with the robotic and boring trainers. It was the same workouts OVER and OVER. Not at Impact, there's always something new and challenging. Trainers Micah and Ali are true inspirations and make their clients feel super comfortable. I'm often amazed at their energy and positivity. They are so passionate about what they do and always full of life...NEVER A DULL MOMENT. I'm continuously impressed with the level of knowledge they have. In my initial weeks they really focused on helping me with my form something I never got anywhere else and they continue to ensure I have proper form. Ali has taken the time out to look at my diet and suggest a diet that actually works for me. I wouldn't even call it a "diet" because it's full of good options. It makes sense with my busy life as a momma and having a full-time job. About 4 weeks ago I tweaked my right knee. I was feeling so discouraged and defeated but Micah came to the rescue. This guy seriously amazes me. He took time out to work with me individually. He used his expert knowledge and explained to me that it was my muscles that were causing the pain in my knee. He spent a couple weeks stretching me and teaching me how to avoid injury. My knee literally does not hurt anymore. I also have 2 herniated discs, and since Micah worked with me one on one, I have not had back pain. Micah and Ali are so personable, they take the time to learn about their clients. We talk about everything and they have a genuine desire to connect with their clients. Oh and yes I have lost weight but more importantly I've learned that this is a lifestyle I need to adopt to live a long healthy life. I will forever be grateful to Micah and Ali.
