IMpowered is a gym for all fitness levels. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, from coaches to clients. I really enjoy the boogie box and groov3 classes. You don’t have to be a dancer to have fun, get fit, and sweat! The gym equipment is always clean, none of those funky gym smells. Greg, the owner, is a pillar in the community. I frequent this amazing gym! Coach Greg is an incredible coach who motivates you physically and mentally. He tailors workouts to everyone’s needs. He provides a concise workout on the board that is highly effective. The gym is extremely clean and organized equipped with all the necessary workout tools. In addition to training with Coach Greg, there are fun workouts to take if you’re into group sessions. I recommend the Groov3 class if you enjoy dancing. Must check out!!! :)

When you think of Boot camp training, you probably cringe, yah - I did too at first. But then I found IMpowered Womens fitness. I was extremely impressed by Coach Greg and the results achieved. Coach Greg took the time to understand my goals (which was training for a half marathon), drop the much needed COVID LBS and gain strength, not bulk. Together we agreed on frequency of training and activities to achieve the goal which was 2 times per week at the IMpowered training facility for 3 months on top of the running schedule that was adding milage each week. Please note - I am over 50 years old, athletic but was a good 15+ pounds to get to a "healthy" weight for my size. I am setting a picture so you understand I'm no fitness fanatic by any stretch.
The training was challenging but Coach Greg made sure I did not injure myself by doing the exercises "wrong" and made sure I would gain the most benefits out of each rep and exercise. Coach Greg made a personalized board for me each session and motivated me to push myself harder than I thought possible. The workouts were varied and included a mix of cardio, strength training and flexibility exercises.
One of the other things I appreciated most was the sense of community - all the participants I encountered at the facility were working towards their personal fitness goals and we were able to support and encourage each others victories throughout the program. It was inspiring to see how everyone progressed over the weeks.
Overall I would highly recommend IMpowered Womens Fitness to anyone looking to improve their fitness and overall health. Coach Greg truly is passionate about the whole human fitness experience. He customized a work out plan, which included nutrition, he coached me through hurdles (mental or physical) to set a proper mind set, and followed up with periodic accountability check ins to make sure the goal was reached or talk about why/what could be done to do so. By the way, because of the program I finished the Half Marathon, lost LBS and gained strength. Everything I asked for. Don't let the "Boot camp" scare you - it starts with putting on shoes and taking one step every day.

My athlete son said it succinctly: “Greg is the best coach I’ve ever worked with.” As a competitive swimmer for the last twelve years, my son has worked with many coaches and trainers. Greg took the time to assess and individualize my son's workouts so that they complimented his swim training. Conversely, Greg is the first coach I’ve ever worked with. I came to him with chronic back issues and feelings of negativity about my aging body. As a life coach, Greg has designed specific exercises geared towards strengthening my core, which in turn has helped me support my back, and in turn has been changing my attitude about body image. Greg does a great job and is very smart in giving drills specified to help me reach my goals and help me with my hockey. The workouts are never easy but challenging and I always leave the training session with my shirt drenched in sweat. The trainings are very hard and intense but I love them since they are specified to help me gain some muscle growth along with helping me in my hockey.

I could belong to a big gym or a smaller boutique studio but opted to train with Coach Greg instead. He offers what I could not get anywhere else: personal, individualized training in an outdoor setting, with all equipment sanitized in between clients (ideal during the pandemic and flu seasons). Coach Greg is invested in your personal growth: he knows my strengths and areas of weaknesses, and provides challenging workouts to help me grow stronger. Not only have I lost weight, my overall health (e.g., cholesterol) and energy levels have improved so much. Strength/weight training is hard for me (because I've never done it before), but I always have fun and enjoy my sessions with Coach Greg. Friends that I've referred to Greg feel exactly the same way.

I appreciate that I can train early in the morning before the kids get up and get it over with. As a mom there are a ton of things on my to-do list. It's good to know that I am setting myself up for success with regular workouts during the week.
I get to train with other moms who are just as busy me. Most days, I roll out of bed, log into Zoom and do the exercises. Coach Greg always deliver a total body workout in 30 mins. I also know that I'm targeting areas that I want to improve (abs, butt, arms) with each session.
Even though this is a group session, I get immediate feedback & individualized attention when my form isn't right. Coach Greg is very positive and encouraging!
You should definitely give IMpowered Women's Fitness a chance!

Do you want to workout but you still don’t feel comfortable going to the gym? Well I have the solution.
About a 2 months ago I got a recommendation for a trainer here on Nextdoor from a neighbor. I contacted him and he said that he’s mostly doing zoom calls and I personally didn’t like the idea. So I stepped away and said thank you for your time and moved on! About 3 weeks ago I contacted him again and asked if we can do in person training and he said, let’s do a class on zoom and see how you feel and if you don’t like it we might be able to work something else.
Well now I’m here 3 weeks later telling you that I’ve never been more comfortable working out. Zoom calls aren’t that bad after all!
He gives you a killer workout every time, encourages you to do better everyday, and the most important thing he’s there for you emotionally. I highly recommend him.

I can’t say enough about coach greg. I came when I was struggling w various minor joint injuries; by coach teaching me to strengthen my core, i not only became injury free but I’m so so strong ! He also helped me work on my confidence & improved my emotional health immensely.
