In shape in Lodi, Ca absolutely is a pivotal environment for me to keep me coming in daily for my fitness goals. The staff ALL of them have been so kind and genuine with very inviting attitudes. They also answer any questions you have whether they can or not they will make sure someone else on the team reaches out to you in a timely manner. We had a little clerical technical issue with our account numbers once the full merger happened from California fitness. It was so simple for us to stop by one weekend and speak to Travis (assistant manager) and not only was he able to zero in on what issue we had the same morning, but he was able to handle the issue fast same day. Travis emailed us with the correct id numbers not long after we stopped by.

I am stoked I am a member of this gym and the community involved. The gym goers are just as cool everyone is respectful and courteous. If you have reserves on stepping inside a gym in general due to intimidating environments and or insecurities please give this gym a chance!

The layout is very easily accessible and clean and in working order.

Hours are great, sauna, indoor lap pool, hot tub, swimwear spin dry machines in the locker room plenty of room all over the gym and I haven’t experienced any of the classes but plan too soon but i do know via the inshape app it offers a ton of various fitness class options.

Thanks again to Travis for the account fix! And the rest of the staff keep being exceptional because the smiles keep me going to the gym helping me push myself to get where I want to get in my goals.

I also want to give a big thanks to Thomas and Jerry at In-Shape Fitness!! They came to the rescue and Thomas was able to jump start my battery on my wife’s car the other night! It just shows you the overall willingness to help us out here at this gym! Great sense of community and great staff getting things done!! Thanks again guys 🤙🏻

This gym has unfair cancellation terms. They don't seem to respect state law and federal rule relating to "click-to-cancel" rule. Avoid this gym if you want to avoid a gym that makes it hard to cancel. They are capable of treating people this way because they are doing it to me. This gym just cares about your money.

Great place to work out. Only one big little minor concern or problem I wish you could say , one more leg press machine would really come in clutch . It is a every day constant battle for this one machine with everyone else usually leading up to many of us skipping leg day workouts due to this issue . Love this club! I’m visiting my daughter who lives here and joined to use when I come. The classes, equipment, pool, sauna and great friendly faces make it a daily activity for me. Perfect for any level, saying this as a 60 yr old who just wants to fit in my jeans lol. Loved the U Jam classes and Pilates. Aqua fit also reminds me of my home in Hawaii. Join if you haven’t it’ll make you feel like a new person!

For two years I’ve had my ups and downs at InShape, surprisingly most of the bad times were at the Lodi location. If I had a dime for every “issue” I ran into this location I would have like 70 cents. For real do they hire an assistant manager without the staff being properly trained in basic rules of their gym and their services. Small short slim guy gives me an attitude for no reason and expects for a customer not to get annoyed and angry? Wow
Goodbye and to anyone about to make business with the gym be careful and maybe join just into their basic membership. All this time I’m paying the most expensive membership they have, so that I have access to all the perks and one day a guy that knows basically nothing about their workings makes you quit the gym.
Shame to that guy and the others who did do their job I hope that one day they take better care of their staff so that they don’t take out their anger and frustration on the customer.

I love the Lodi Inshape gym Much more than the Elk Grove locations, even though the Elk Grove locations are considered to be higher caliber and cost more and even though Elk Grove is more convenient for me since I live in Elk Grove.
My most favorite In-Shape location is Demaree in Visalia followed by the Lodi location and followed by Mooney North in Visalia.

I love the vast amount of classes with optional times available. Workout equip is always up to date and high quality. Really appreciate the cleanliness of InShape as well. Very professional staff. Members are happy and have a friendly, respectful vibe. In 6 years I’ve always felt comfortable no matter where I am in my fitness journey. In my opinion, a few more $ is well worth a good experience and being in a safer part of town.

Going through a process right now to get a refund, the company doesn't just give you your money back they have to send it into Corporate. So I was overcharged $250 dollars after already paying $350 just to end my contract. They charge an arm and a leg just so you can cancel it then they screw you and make you stay and pay for an extra month cause you need 30 days for some stupid reason. Don't use the app to pay, stupidly I did and they didn't even use my credit that was in it to pay my fees instead they kept the credit and charge me again through my checking account. So I have a useless $250 in my inshape app credit and they can't refund for who knows how long, and they took $350 out of my checking. So thank you for robbing me Inshape just in time for all my bills to be due.

UPDATE: After already canceling and paying damn near $600 to do it, I just received a peice of mail from them saying I owe $300 because they've apparently been charging me monthly even though I've already canceled my account. WILD! Also, of course the manager isn't in when I call to try to fix yet another of their problems.

My wife and I love your classes, especially those instructed by Kim (K-slice). Her classes are always full and she has wonderful energy. We do the classes and use the gym for regular workouts as well. We are retired, so we have no issues with going opposite of the crowds. The staff at the front desk is always welcoming and are sure to say goodbye as well. Please add more spots to Kim's classes and keep up the good work. This gym is way too small for the area. Everytime I come here there is no parking and no equipment. This place is plagued by highs schoolers who gather in groups around important machines and text on their phones. Save your money and go somewhere else. This is a classic "pack em in" gym. Wish I'd have known before signing up.

My Lodi, CA facility is the best in the Stockton/Lodi area! It is the furthest gym from my location but worth the drive. The staff are responsive, professional and friendly. The attention to detail is noticable. The gym is very clean and the crew is meticulous cleaning dust and debris in corners and crevices. Repairs are completed quickly.

It’s always a great experience at In Shape! Very clean gym oriented to better its fitness customers. Only thing I wonder about is why In Shape stopped providing towels for members to use when they go swimming or to Aqua Fit classes. Also wish there was one in Sacramento and that they have tanning booths like they do in Planet fitness for only $20 per month. This is the best gym you're gonna find in the region. The reason for me to give a two star review is the next:
I WAS A MEMEBER FOR MORE THAN A YEAR and loved it, about ten days ago I lost my sunglasses which were both expensive and prescription, untill then ok, my fault I lost them right? Yes not losing things Is one's responsibility. The thing is about 24 hours after losing them i ask the front desk if anyone had turned in any sunglasses, to which they replied yes (keeping the person anonymous to not affect them negatively) THE PERSON SAID "yes, someone turned them in" THEN SAYS THE EXACT DESCRIPTION OF THE LOST SUNGLASSES WITH BRAND AND DETAILS, next thing she asks another worker "did you see the sunglasses that were here, the other worker says they just moved the lost and found to the other side. I was happy when they said they had found them then ten seconds later they can't seem to find them anywhere. Fast forward 5 days later I'm still asking for my sunglasses and now one of the managers says that she might have been mistaken that those probably weren't my sunglasses. I don't think it takes a detective or someone super smart to see or conclude what happened in this situation. Needless to say I JUST QUIT MY MEMBERSHIP and I'm missing my favorite sunglasses which were expensive nonetheless. Thanks for the person that did try to give back what is rightfully mine and i hope the person who took them gets his/her karma. I had just fallen in love with their upper tier service and their amazing massage chairs they just got. Imma miss my glasses and the gym. Bye and thank you.

Descent gym overall but not perfect for several reasons, in short here are a few. First, out of the four stair-climbing machines; not a single one works well. For the most part the machines function in a manner in which I assume the club considers to be “good enough”. Secondly, the sauna is not as hot as it should be. Lastly, the water refill station is not great because it is way too slow. Staff is great, the place is kept clean. With that said, In-Shape Lodi would benefit from updating their equipment.

The zumba and UJam instructors are motivating and have such a passion when they teach classes. I personally, am only a member because of those classes. The staff is most helpful. They listen and they are honest. I use a walker and would appreciate an elevator as Tuesdays, and Thursdays I take your free ride cycle class on the second floor. The staff is most helpful getting it up and down the stairs for me. I tried getting it down one day and hurt for days after so A BIG THANK YOU GOES TO THEM ALL. I like the fact of being able to rent a large locker. I do your Aqua Fit, Hi Intensity and the Free Ride. This enables me to keep most of my own equipment etc. at the club and not need daily transport of same.The staff as referred to is front desk and managers. Kelley is the greatest Aqua Fit Instructor I have ever had. I have had many and some are personal friends. None compared to the Great Kelley. She explains everything thoroughly down to the body parts being covered and not covered. Hi Intensity and Free ride by the Missez Coach Stokes is a great experience. She is knowledgeable in aches, pains etc. and reminds you that not all are on the same level. You do what is best for you. Having an Arthritic Knee that acts up on and off Coach understands and helps me with modifications but mainly encouragement.ByPhyllis Johnson

Ok establishment, terrible employees. They don't care that you have a joint issue and can only swim laps, nor do they care that I can only make it out 1-3 times per month to do said exercise. Got kicked out of the pool just because one of my 2 kids was under 13 even though they were there doing laps with me as they are on a swim team and wanted to get some extra practice. Nope that didn't matter, it only mattered that one of my kids was under 13. This was on a Sunday afternoon we were only using 1 out of 3 lanes(that we reserved by the way). She said they can't be in there because it's not family time. So I asked when is family time and during family time do they have the lane lines in so we can swim laps? She replied they don't have family time at all right now......... what?!?!?! So there is no family time at all and even though we are not here to swim for recreation we have to get out because one of my kids is not 13?? That was it if they are going to hire employees who can't use any common sense and realize this is not the normal kids wanting to swim for fun situation, your not getting anymore of my money.

Paid 15$ for a day pass, was in the gym for 25 mins and a squat rack hog refused to share the rack whilst doing dl from the floor, I complained to the staff who refused to do anything. So I requested my day pass money back. This is not a facility that facilitates the sharing of equipment or members being polite at all. Do not pay for this gym if you want to use the squat rack or leg press.it has been 2 days and I have still not received the email stating my money was returned as promised. After dealing with such an unprofessional manager I am not surprised. This gym is a scam.
