I started lifting on my own last year and things were going well but I wanted to expand my limited knowledge. Joanne was matched with me through Compound Training Facility and I’m so glad she was!

Initially, my goals were just to learn new techniques and good form with barbells. I’ve learned much more than just that. Joanne has helped keep me consistent in the gym, gain strength, lose weight, and taught me long lasting habits that have improved my overall health. I had been a sedentary person my whole life and she has helped me through this transition to a more active lifestyle.

Also Joanne has a super positive personality and is down to earth. I always enjoy talking to her during our sessions. I highly recommend her as a personal trainer to others on their fitness journey.

Joanne has been the greatest trainer and life coach I have had and could ever ask for. I worked with her for two years before I had to move, and the transformation I saw in myself—my physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of my life all drastically improved. I got into amazing shape starting from scratch, and learned all the proper techniques and many specialized workout programs. We trained my strength, endurance, cardiovascular health, and explosiveness. Joanne is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and health, having worked in healthcare previously, and I think that enhances what she brings to the table as a trainer and life coach. My dad is suffering from back pain and I suspect its from poor posture and weak lower back muscles; if I could, I would have him move to Palo Alto so that he could train with Joanne. I really mean that. She ensures that one learns the proper technique and doesn’t get injured, and I never had any injuries or pain issues while training with her. Quite the contrary, as a matter of fact. I arrived with massive foot pain, which I believe was from Plantar Fasciitis, and I had seen 3 specialists, all to no avail. Joanne put me on a bare foot workout routine and after a short period of time, my calf muscles strengthened and stretched out and my foot pain gradually went away, and it has not come back since. I really believe in the power of working out and think that is has truly translated into other aspects of my life, and the discipline and mental stamina I gained through my workouts with Joanne proved to be immensely valuable, as I was able to get organized enough during this initially chaotic time of my life to put together a successful medical school and graduate school application (MD-PhD) program. I truly do not think I would have gotten in without the total life transformation I underwent after and during my time working under Joanne’s mentorship and guidance. Thank you Joanne!!! You are greatly missed here in Chapel Hill.

I Can't Recommend Joanne Enough!

If you're looking for a fantastic personal trainer, especially if you're a beginner like me, then look no further than Joanne! I came to her in my mid-60s with zero experience in strength training, and I was a little intimidated. But Joanne completely put me at ease.

She's incredibly encouraging and motivating, with a warm and friendly personality. She's also very patient and explains everything clearly. It's not just about *how* to do an exercise, but also *why* it's important, which really helps with understanding and engagement. Plus, she's relatable and likable, which makes the sessions even more enjoyable.

Joanne is a pro at creating customized programs. She developed a plan specifically for my goals, which included core strength, balance, and agility. She's also fantastic at keeping the sessions fun and varied, so I never get bored.

One thing I particularly appreciate is her attentiveness to form. With my age, proper technique is crucial, and Joanne is there every step of the way to ensure I'm doing everything safely and effectively.

Signing up for InfalibleFit was one of the best decisions I ever made! Working with Joanne really showed me that creating a healthier lifestyle is more than a number on a scale. I have signed up with other fitness programs before but it always felt like I should be ashamed if I “fell off the wagon” and they never really considered a holistic approach to fitness. She has helped me immensely in achieving my fitness goals over this period. Based on my goals, Joanne prepared a personalized gym routine for me which helped me gradually build up strength and stamina over time. Over the years my body has accumulated nagging injuries from sports. One in particular is my right knee. My knee would act up when doing sprints. It would take a couple of days to recover or longer at times. I discussed with Joanne my issues and based on the information I provided, she gave me a couple of exercises to help strengthen the muscles around my knee. Within two and a half weeks, I was sprinting with no soreness or pain on my knee. I also don't need to wear my knee brace anymore. Joanne started training my teen daughter as well in boxing. I am very particular in who trains my daughters in martial arts. My daughter loves training with her and I see after a couple of sessions how much my daughter has learned. Joanne is an excellent trainer and who can relate to any age group. I love her attention to detail and communication. She customizes your training needs based on your needs and goals! We had our initial consulting before the first session so that she could make me customized training plans targeting my goal. We usually have two 1-hour sessions a week. In the few months I have been working with Joanne, I have lost 24 lbs and I am still losing. For a 51 year man who is over 300 lbs, and has physical limitations, I am amazed and now hopeful that I can lose more weight and feel better with her

Joanne pushes me, but she is not overbearing. She is compassionate and listens. If I can not do an excercise due to my limitations, she comes up with a different exercise without making me feel less then.

But it is not just the weight lost that I am grateful for...I eat better, I feel stronger, and I am am physically more flexible. I highly recommend Joanne.

Joanne is amazing!! Her vast knowledge of the body allows her to flex her advice and guidance based on your fitness needs. I am a boxer, so my fitness goals are related to weight management and body recovery. In these areas, I was so impressed with Joanne’s knowledge of how to maintain weight, while keeping the body strong (necessary for the sport I’m in). It’s not limited to food intake, but she also guides on the importance of sleep, and how it impacts your body. Also, the timing of food intake which is important for weight management as fight days approach. My sport leads to a lot of injury, and Joanne has shared the importance and examples of proper stretching, as well as some specific stretches and exercises to overcome some injuries. She explained the ‘why’ in great detail and how it relates to the body/muscles/joints. I highly recommend Joanne! She will listen to your needs/goals and develop a plan that will meet your specific needs.
