About the Club

Integrative Training Institute is a one-stop-shop for all things health and wellness. James Balazs provides strength coaching, nutrition coaching, and neuromuscular therapy (MAT).
Combining his Strength Coaching and expertise in Biomechanics with Neuromuscular Therapy (Muscular Activation Technique) and Functional Nutrition (Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner), James has drawn an array of clientele from high level executives to women looking to regain their form after childbirth to athletes and everything in between.

James is certified as a Neuromuscular Therapist through M.A.T. (Muscle Activation Technique), and has been designated with the highest level credential you can receive in M.A.T of Rx & Nx Specialist.

I’m an equestrian and a yogi who threw my back out very badly a year ago. At the time, I was told by doctors to stop most of my exercise and activity while I healed. I tried other approaches to PT and felt very frustrated and stagnant in my progress - my back just didn’t seem to be getting better and I was losing strength from lack of my regular activities, which wasn’t helping.

In contrast, in just one session at ITI, I went from barely being able to walk because of my back to having enough mobility for daily life again. After just a few weeks of training I was literally and metaphorically back in the saddle. Since then, their regular training + MAT approach has helped me build back strength that is more stable and sustainable, and I am living the active life I love with even better performance than I had before my back injury. So grateful to the ITI team!

As a physician and someone who has been working out consistently for 18 years, I could not understand why I kept having all these aches and pains that never seemed to go away. I had spent years visiting chiropractors, sports massages, acupuncturists before getting referred to James.

James has a great and unique perspective to the mechanics of the human body. He spent hours analyzing the mechanics of my body, isolating weak points at every joint, and working to fix the weaknesses both through muscle activation and weight bearing exercise.

Not only do I feel better, I have a better grasp on how to exercise and move to continue this improvement outside of his space.

James Balazs has truly rebuilt my body from the ground up.
