Started my functional fitness journey here and it has been great. CrossFit-style training and the best bang for buck hands down. All the workouts are thoughtful and aimed to give you the hardest but most rewarding hour every time. Solid community and owner, come check it out!

I've been going to this gym for a very long time. Its changed names and owners but the community stayed the same. The owners are great, they are excited about the gym and always look to improve the gym in any way they can. Programming is great, always expect to get pushed and as a community we push each other to be better everyday. What to expect: you walk in and people will be hanging out getting ready for class. Even if you're new we always try to include you because working out at a new place can be intimidating. You will do a nice 10 min warm up and most of the time we have a weight lifting movement and we end with an intense workout. You will leave the gym swearing for sure. Also, expect loud music, people dancing between sets and lots of fun. If you're looking for a fun yet hard workout, this is your place.

This gym is great for those of all levels! As someone new to CrossFit I was nervous to start but it’s such a positive and supportive environment here! The coaches are so knowledgeable and great at scaling down moves for beginners and helping you build up to your goals in a safe manner.
What’s great is this gym also offers nutrition coaching. I have been an ongoing client with Savannah for nutrition coaching and recommend her program for anyone looking to make nutrition education and healthier habits a priority. I typically don’t do well sticking to health changes but Savannah has been a great accountability partner and does a good job catering to my individual needs and lifestyle. She’s personally been helping me with habit stacking to make healthy changes finally stick. Through this nutrition coaching I’ve received great resources that have been helping make positive, healthy changes. I look forward to continuing her coaching!

Hands down, the best gym in Costa Mesa! If you’re looking to improve your nutrition, fitness, and health this is the place. The nutrition coaching is outstanding. For someone who is having trouble kickstarting or even just refining their nutrition they have a nutrition coach who walks you through the programming and set your goals with accountability. The coaches are welcoming and make you feel safe. Highly recommend Iron coast Fitness. And a bonus the community is out of this world!

I started ICF Nutritional Program at the start of the month and have noticed an immediate change in my life. I am focused right now on maintaining a regular sleep schedule, and just that. My coach, Savannah is amazing at giving me an anchor for accountability. It's a little strange to realize I need a bed time, but it has led to a lot of small changes. Just being able to feel good about accomplishing that one goal has spread into going to the gym regularly, being more mindful of my diet and thinking about my overall choices each day. I think that is because I get a two minute video about a healthy idea or philosophy each day, which I watch in the morning, and it just keeps a little buzz in my head which steers me toward thinking about my nutrition and health. I love it and can't stress how it is asking for small, life long habits toward my nutrition and fitness!

BEST GYM. I’ve been a member at Iron Coast for a long time and can’t imagine going anywhere else. The community is awesome and supportive, the owners are truly attentive to members and always improving the space, and the programming is thoughtful and effective for any fitness level. The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and always try to help you improve. It’s a great place to work out—no ego, just good vibes and good people who show up and put in the work. Highly recommend!

Iron Coast Fitness is much more than your average crossfit gym. This community of good people feels like family - not only to seasoned members, but new ones as well! There is something for everybody! Between weekday bodybuilding, strength pieces, metcons, and weekend cardio and partner workouts - you will always have ways to push yourself both mentally and physically. The environment is lighthearted and fun, while there is plenty of opportunity for growth as well. Iron Coast has a variety of intelligent coaches who help members with their unique goals. The daily workout programming is unlike any gym I've been to. It's perfectly challenging and efficient. Come sweat with us!!!

I saw this quote recently "the gym is always so much more than just the gym" and that rings true at Iron Coast. I'm here more days than not, and am sad on the days I miss. The programming keeps me challenged, the coaches keep me growing, and the community of humans here keeps me coming week after week. I'd never thrown a barbell over my head til a little over a year ago, and it's so much fun.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Iron Coast Fitness for an early morning workout session, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of impressive. As someone who values a seamless gym experience, Iron Coast Fitness exceeded my expectations right from the start. Upon my arrival on Friday, December 15th, at the crack of dawn, the process of filling out waivers and handling the payment was smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone for the day.
What stood out immediately was the warm welcome from Dean, the gym owner. His friendly demeanor and thorough tour of the gym layout instantly made me feel at ease. It's not just the hospitality that makes Iron Coast Fitness special; the organization and layout of the gym itself are commendable. The thoughtful arrangement of equipment, including barbells, bikes, rowers, and ski machines, each allocated its own space, ensured a clutter-free environment. This thoughtful layout allowed for ample personal space, which is crucial during intense workouts.
The diversity in fitness levels at Iron Coast Fitness is another aspect worth highlighting. The environment is welcoming to all, from beginners to seasoned pros, creating an inclusive atmosphere that’s both motivating and inspiring. The workout of the day was a challenging mix of hang cleans, burpees, squats, air bikes, pull-ups, and more. The variety and intensity of the exercises provided a comprehensive workout, leaving me feeling accomplished and invigorated after the 34-minute session.
The well-planned warm-up deserves a special mention. It was tailored to ease the body from the early morning stiffness to smooth, consistent repetitions, making the transition into the workout seamless and effective.
Iron Coast Fitness is not just about individual workouts; it's about the community and group mentality that pushes everyone to excel. This sense of camaraderie is a massive boost, especially when you're pushing your limits. The cherry on top was seeing Dean, the gym owner, join in on the workouts. His participation not only shows his commitment to fitness but also his passion for the community he's built.
