Amazing gym! The owner, Mark, is incredibly kind and welcoming to everyone who comes in, regardless of experience level or fitness goals. Fellow gym-goers are super supportive and respectful. All of the equipment you might need for powerlifting, bodybuilding, or general weightlifting and fitness. Can't recommend enough!

Iron Pile is great! I often travel to the San Fernando Valley to visit family and am so glad I found Iron Pile for this visit, allowing me to keep training and stay on program while I’m out of town. This gym is perfect for any serious (or casual) powerlifter. They have great comp benches, racks, and far far more kilo (and LB) plates than anyone could ever need. They’ve got tons of bars, including specialty bars, bands, chains, etc. meaning that whatever your style of training is, you’ll be able to get it done at this gym. The space was clean, bright, and well organized. They make drop-ins easy: you pay online and register for an app that allows you to unlock the door (24/7 access). I had a great time training at Iron Pile and will be back soon!

Iron Pile is one of the best gym I’ve ever been to! The organization is impeccable, with everything in its place, making it easy to find and use the equipment you need. The gym owner, Mark, is incredibly helpful and always willing to offer coaching tips if you're unsure how to use a particular piece of equipment or perform a particular lift. Members are extremely welcoming which makes the environment really fun and motivating to workout in. Being open 24 hours a day makes it super practical for any schedule. The variety of specialized equipment is also impressive, catering to all fitness needs, sports and levels. Highly recommend

Words can't express the gratitude and love I have for Iron Pile. I fell out of love with the sport of Powerlifting for a few years until I stepped into this gym. The environment is everything you'd want in a training facility, equipment included. I couldn't see myself training anywhere else. For those that may feel intimidated into joining, I can assure you that every single person that trains here is someone with a good head on their shoulders, and Mark is a man who is delighted to help and support in anyway possible.

I love working out in the Iron Pile gym. There are so many different pieces of equipment; I never feel rushed or crowed or have to wait for my turn to lift. Everyone is so friendly and supportive, and as a woman, I always feel comfortable lifting. Mark, Iron Pile’s owner, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about powerlifting, strongman and fitness/sports in general and adds so much value to your membership even by just being around to answer questions, from optimal form or nutrition to how to use the crazy new equipment he has in there.

Iron Pile has been a part of my life for years. Mark, who coaches and programs, genuinely cares about you and your progress. All members are super friendly and helpful, and the environment is very encouraging. They are almost like family. I love Saturday mornings when everybody has more time and we train hard and laugh a lot.

I love the Iron Pile gym. It has everything you need to take your power lifting to the next level: chains, bands, and ALL the accessory equipment a girl could ask for. I love the conjugate programming that is put up on the board weekly. It makes it so easy to just come in and lift. It’s a friendly but professional environment. People are there to actually lift and not chat you up, which is refreshing. Can’t say enough great things about Mark, Mari, and Iron Pile!!

My favorite part of the week is any day I get to attend Iron Pile training. The members are welcoming and encouraging. And, the equipment top notch. Coach Mark Galvin is the magic that makes this place special. Mark’s programming is designed for results yet adaptable to each members’ needs. Through Mark’s training, I competed in my first power lifting meet and metaled. I’ll be competing again in the spring.
There is a real sense of community at Iron Pile. We train hard yet have fun along the way; never too serious. Case in point is I moved out of valley, yet make the drive to train here. It’s that good!
