At Iron Roots Fitness, we’re more than just a gym—we’re a place for you to break free from frustration, build strength, and take control of your health. Highly recommend Iron Roots for anyone trying to push and improve their physical physical fitness. 12/10 recommend Iron Roots and working with Ben! He is an incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated coach with a wealth of experience. He will help you focus on building strength but also on mobility and making sure your body is working as it should and you can work out and live pain free. I had a knee injury I was working through and felt very stuck - in working out with Ben, he devoted time to helping me use mobility training/exercises so I was in overall better shape and pain was alleviated and then kicked into gear with strength when I was ready and making good progress. He is also just a very kind and empathetic person. Can't recommend this gym (and Ben$ enough!

We visited Iron roots for a class while in town, and we absolutely loved this gym. The weights and equipment are super clean and the kettlebell classes are such an awesome way to get a workout. Ben was a great instructor and gave technical tips for a lot of the moves. He informed us all of the classes have a progression over the course of the classes that I wish we could be in town to experience. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to get strong!

I have been going to Ben, owner of Iron Roots, for over a year now. It has been life changing both physically and mentally. His programs not only build your physical strength but his classes build community and an overall positive environment. Getting back into the gym was the hardest part but the support he provides guides you and promotes success. The whole program is built around your needs and catered to your abilities. If I could give 10 stars I would!

A new business, but not a new owner/trainer opening it! Ben is well educated on training and nutrition. I trained with him for many years and watched him hone his craft with trainer and nutrition. He is very supportive and encourages and builds confidence in his clients along the way. He is never too busy to help answer questions or give advice when he is asked for help. I do not live in CA longer, so I tap into his expertise by phone. I needed help in January 2024. My lab numbers had spiked into unhealthy ranges. My cholesterol was 221 and my A1C was 6.4. I had not gained weight or changed anything, but I was 66 turning 67 in May and figured my genetics were catching up with me and I needed to make changes rather than take medication. Ben stepped up to help me. He guided me on nutrition and exercise. I lost weight every week I was working with him. 1-1.5 pounds. I took a home test for my labs in April. My results were 169 for cholesterol and 5.9 for A1C. I went to my doctor in June and had labs run again for my 6 month checkup. I had lost 21 pounds. My cholesterol was 159 and my A1C was 5.4. I was in the healthy range with all those marks. I saw my doctor again in January 2025 and am still in the healthy range. I cannot thank Ben enough for helping me get my body healthy inside and out. I have passed the year mark and am still keeping my weigh and labs in the healthy range. He knows what he is doing to help you! You will be in better health, inside and out with his help! He is worth his weight in gold! Thank you Ben!

This is an awesome place to learn and develop your fitness journey. Classes range from cardio to mobility/stretching to kettlebells, dumbbells, and squat racks. The range of options provides variety and the coaches are awesome and teach to the full range of skillsets from beginners to long-term practitioners. Owner and head coach, Ben is focused on giving you tools to get stronger and perfect your technique, while also listening to your body and avoiding injury.
