Ironworks Gym is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a part of. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, filled with hard-working, blue-collar type people who are truly inspiring and positive. The gym is open 24/7, which makes it super convenient, and I rarely ever have to wait for equipment. It’s always spotless clean, which really shows the pride they take in keeping the place top-notch.

The staff here are friendly and helpful, always making you feel like part of the community. What I love most is the energy from the members—you can’t help but feel motivated when you’re surrounded by people pushing themselves to be better. Their motto, “Where weakness comes to die,” couldn’t be more fitting—I absolutely love it.

If you’re looking for a gym with a positive, hard-working vibe and everything you need to succeed, Ironworks is the place.

I’m visiting this area for the memorial long weekend and wanted to get a quick workout on Saturday. The owner happened to be here at the moment and let me in even though they usually aren’t open for non-members during weekends. Amazing vibes and the machines are another level! Such a sick gym with amazing staff and super good prices on day passes. They have everything you could need from cardio equipment, to free weights, to dumbbells, to pin loaded and plat loaded machines. I’m a real sucker for a “old school powerhouse” gym and Ironworks is definitely IT! Will be coming back here for sure next time I’m in town!!

Amazing gym and awesome owner.
Gym had everything we needed in free weights, machines, cardio and a large floor space for calisthenics.
24 hour access was great for the early morning workouts.
Owner and staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We are moving out of the area but will definitely renew our memberships if we return to Grass Valley.

I’ve been going to Iron Works for years and it has been a consistent win. It is a clean, well equipped, reasonably priced place you can workout without any drama. Curtis (& Noel) do a great job running the facility. Highly recommend.

I had a serious shoulder impingement that I worked all the way through with the equipment and guidance at Ironworks Gym.
Curtis is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The membership is somewhat diverse and filled with good people. It’s busy enough to have a good vibe, but not so busy that it is a problem.
Come on by and check it out. I highly recommend Ironworks Gym!

I was struggling losing weight until I came to this gym. The gym owner Curtis and Noelle gave me a lot of great advice on workouts and diets, and it's been working! I've lost a bunch of weight due to their willingness to help me. Wouldn't go to any other gym in town.

I visited the website and was unable to find pricing information and the menu option for "shop products" leads to a broken Facebook page. I submitted a message on the website asking for pricing information and expressing my frustration at its absence from the website. The owner responded without answering my question and in a condescending manner, I have attached a screenshot of his email to me.

There is something special about Ironworks Gym. It’s a place so special that I’ve never written a single review for any place that I have ever gone in my entire life, yet here I am. The small tight knit community that lies within these walls is something you can’t quite find anywhere else. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and will help you reach physical goals. This gym is so incredible that it has actually made it hard to move out of town because we would have to go find another gym when the time comes because I know I won’t find anything even close to its caliber.

Best gym I have ever belonged too! Great people in the gym to work out with and I have made many friends there! You can work out 24 hours a day which is nice. Only gym in town that you can do that. The owner Curtis is a great guy and a certified physical fitness trainer and is always happy to give you advice if you have a question to help you improve. Since he bought the gym he has constantly made improvements updating the gym whether cleaning , adding new floors, and updating equipment! I moved to Sparks Nv and I will miss this gym and everyone in it! Good job Curtis!

Overall, great gym! 24 hour access! Showers! Plenty of locker/cubby spaces! Good vibes! Gracious owner! This place has everything you need to get desirable results. I found this gym perfect for me because weightlifting is my preferred workout style most days of the week. I have lifted weights at commercial gyms before, but this is the first gym where I felt part of a community of other fellow weightlifters. And don’t let that intimidate you if it does! This place is very welcoming to all levels/styles of fitness! This was also the first gym where most of the music playing on the speakers inside was actually motivational and enjoyable for once! Because who seriously listens to Adele while deadlifting their max weight?!? Worth checking out! If I ever moved back into the area, I would rejoin this gym in a pulsating heartbeat! I honestly miss it.

Great gym and awesome location. It’s nice to be able to workout at any time of the day with the 24 hour access. It seems most people are there to workout and not to chat so I enjoy the environment of most people being serious about their workout. Music is good also so if my headphones die I can still enjoy what they are playing. Prices are very reasonable and there are plenty of weights/equipment.
