I can't imagine taking my kids to anyone else besides Kerri Williams at ISR Monterey Bay. Ms. Kerri's method and temperament makes for a successful combination for any child. My two children could not be any more different in personality, physical strength, and learning styles, and yet she caters each lesson to each child's need and skill. She is patient and kind, and sees each child for who they are. She is able to pivot easily and has the knowledge and resources to make for a successful experience. I'm so glad I brought my kids to ISR. The peace of mind I have with my kids around water was worth every penny!

We reached out to Kerri because our one year old was intentionally throwing himself into pools and didn’t know how to swim. We did one session of ISR (about 1 month), after this session he was able to jump in the water and flip and float to his back unassisted. We continue to go back and maintain the skills he has learned to ensure his safety. Kerri is an amazing instructor, and very kind and patient with my son when he needed emotional breaks or reassurance. We will always recommend ISR Monterey over any traditional swim lesson.

Kerri is a very knowledgeable, professional, no nonsense type of instructor. She is stern on kids really focusing and learning water safety. When it comes to my child’s safety in the water, I don’t want an instructor who just plays in the water with him. She is focused and encourages my child to do his best! She worked with us on strokes for my 7 year old. She helped to perfect his form before beginning a junior life guard summer program. We will continue to see her to improve his forms as he grows. I heard about ISR a while ago and wasn't sure I wanted to do it with my daughter. I wasn't sure about the time commitment and the investment, but boy am I glad I went through with it! I totally see now how having 1 on 1 time with their amazing instructor Kerri multiple times a week is key to learn these life saving skills. Over the weekend we went to the lake and my 15 month old wanted nothing to do in my arms so I'd let her ''show me her float'' and she floated like a champ! Whenever she lost footing because she was going into deeper water, she'd go back to floating and stayed calm. I am looking forward to my daughter developing more water skills with ISR Monterey!

This facility is very clean, temperature controlled, and well- kept. There is even a waiting room to entertain your little ones while they wait for their lesson. Miss Kerri gives your child the confidence they need to survive in water while still making it fun and exciting. We are so grateful for Kerri and her commitment to making kids water-safe. She has worked with both of our toddlers. Both kids were resistant to lessons in the beginning, but by the end of their sessions, they cried when they had to get out of the pool. We are confident they would be able to save themselves if an unimaginable accident should happen. This indoor swimming pool was well thought out and made to the highest standards. The pool temp is perfect, it's clean, and multifunctional. My son does lessons in the pool and within seconds the jets can be turned on and my husband can work on his swimming stroke. Kerri is the best instructor, my whole family goes to her and we all love her.
