I've taken private pilates lessons with Jessica for nearly a year while rehabbing from sciatica and back surgery. She is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable about pilates, she adjusts positions for my particular problems, finds ways to push me, celebrates my progress, and cares about me as a whole. She even got me to start swimming, which really aided my recovery. Finally, Jessica is very funny AND a really kind person. It's easy to develop trust and rapport with her, which I think is important for anyone learning and growing in pilates. And did I mention her rates are ridiculously low for private pilates?? Yes, you need to try her!

Jessica is not only a pilates instructor to me, but also a cool friend to hang out with during sessions. She’ll introduce you to traditional Pilates (not the Lagree Pilates you often see at other studios) on the mat, reformer and Cadillac and will help you a lot with your form.

Her guidance has helped me transform both my body and mind - just trust the process and give it a shot! ;)

I’ve been taking classes (both private and group) with Jessica for years. I had been to one or two other pilates studios before hers, but it wasn’t until I started taking classes with her that I began to love and get the most out of pilates. On top of that, my knee pain and sciatica have gotten so much better since doing pilates with Jessica, and she equipped me with the knowledge to stretch/workout better with those injuries in mind. Always guaranteed a great workout.

Highly recommend Janae Luxe Pilates Studio!! I have been working out with Janae Luxe Studio for years and every workout is amazing! She really takes the time to listen to her clients and gives them tips to reach their fitness goals! She also does fun events to bring her clients together and has created a fitness family for us all! In addition to Pilates she also teaches my favorite class TRX and she still makes sure to incorporate Pilates at the very end of each work out!

Been going to Jessica's for just under a month now and I love it. She's extremely friendly, but when it comes time to do the work, she's no nonsense. I like how her sessions are a mix of encouragement/reassurance and constructive criticism and instruction. She doesn't BS you but also isn't a drill sergeant. And surprisingly, there is plenty of street parking at her new North Park location. I thought that would be an issue, but not once have I had to look for parking for more than a couple of minutes and I always find a spot within a block of her studio. Also, her pricing is crazy reasonable. Another major plus, since it allows me to do multiple sessions a week consistently.

I love my pilates practice with Jessica! Janae Luxe Pilates has been a great way to get back in shape. I like the studio. It is always clean and organized. The vibe is amazing. Everyone works together and creates a happy environment. We all have different levels and we are still able to exercise together and motivate each other.

One of my primary goals is Great Health! Since the first of the year I've been inspired by good friends... a few special ones who've shown me the value in getting into shape. Since mid-February, roughly, I've lost 14 pounds and gotten much stronger primarily through working with Jessica at Janae Luxe Pilates Studio! Some of my friends are likely sick of seeing me check-in there on Facebook or at the Convention Center Stairs... but it's been fun, and hard, and rewarding.... I've laughed, cried, almost given up, been amazed at what I could do... so many emotions! Proud sometimes and sometimes so discouraged that it's likely too little, too late, but I know that it's not! This continues... Oatmeal with Blueberries & Bananas this morning and tomorrow, Pilates again tomorrow morning, too! I'm excited about continuing!!!

* UPDATE: 6/13/18. See that I wrote this 3 years ago, wow! Still going, now for TRX and Pilates. Plus we do the Convention Center Stairs on most Monday evenings! I love Jessica, the results, and that I'm still at it! Haven't stuck with any other form of exercise this long ever ... And I turned 59 in May. We joke often that my plan is to keep this up and really be in good shape when I turn 80!!! So far, so good!

Best studio I’ve been too! Jessica is so attentive to everyone’s needs and if you need anything, she is always there to help! She always asks how you are feeling, just in case she needs to alter anything for you. I would highly recommend her and her studio!

Jessica trained me for a year and a half - the first six months she trained me to prepare me for the 60 mile 3 day breast cancer walk in 2006.....I was turning 50 that year and wanted to be in my best shape for the walk. I was very overweight and absolutely out of shape. She kicked my butt and I kicked the butt of that walk - came in with the very first group after walking 60 miles..............not a blister, not a sore muscle, not a loss of a toenail!! It was incredible! I continued the training for one more year to ready me for the next one. Jess is crazy fun, but don't let that fool you, she will work you to your maximum potential, all with laughter and fun stories. I entered my 50's in the best shape of my life. Thanks so much Jessica!!!! In 2016 I will be 60 and I recently took a mat class with her - 9 years later, I still got it ;-) Hope to join her for more this coming year.

I hadn't worked out in over 5 years when I started at Janae Luxe and was hesitant about trying Pilates. After the first workout, I was hooked. Within a month, I started seeing results, leaner muscles and more flexibility. Now almost 6 months in, the strength I've built has given me the confidence to experiment with more types of workouts and change the way I eat.
