Over the past year, working with Joe has been the most has been the most important part of my soccer journey and overall development as an athlete. Our son trained with Joe and Gavin over the summer to prepare for his first fall of DIII soccer. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Joe to anyone at any fitness level for personal training.
Somehow, he simultaneously trains my athletic, strong, gym-fanatic boyfriend and myself at the same time (a non-athlete, uncoordinated, gym naive human). His training is full of skill and knowledge, but always provided without judgment. He takes time to warm up your body appropriately before slowly advancing the workout to your full potential. He trains differently than most trainers- providing workouts that include sprints outside, power lifting, medicine balls, plyometrics - all tailored to your needs. 10/10!

I’ve battled aches and pains for years from military time, mild scoliosis, and other injuries over time and done what feels like everything under the sun to feel decent.
Yet I still hadn’t tried the techniques Joe taught me like PRI which has changed my body more in weeks then years of PT.

Strongly recommend Trainer Joe for these reasons:
-Programs tailored to specific goals: I came to Joe with a goal to gain muscle (success). I am a former D1 athlete, so was used to a grueling workout regime, but Joe's program was focused and efficient. I spend less time working out and more time seeing results. Plus workouts are not limited to 1:1s. He develops a routine that you can handle on your own that are an extension of your 1:1 time.
-Pointed coaching during sessions: he knows when to push and when to cut back. He's helped me focus on breathing and form in a way I wouldn't have otherwise.
-Easy/Casual/Fun 1:1s: it'd be difficult to return to a trainer you don't vibe with - Joe is personable, curious about you, and can hold a conversation. It's fun to workout with him.

Amazing Personal Trainer! I have been working out with Joe for the past 1.5 years and i could not be happier with the results and the experience. Joe has a ton of knowledge and exceptional ability to adapt his programs to meet his clients needs and design sessions in a way workouts don’t feel repetitive and you feel motivated and engaged every week. In my case, i have been doing mostly high intensity work in the gym with him twice a week, and i feel my overall level of energy to get through the day and my strength, flexibility and fitness level have tremendously improved. If anyone is interested in getting back to a routine, just starting to exercise and want some guidance, or trying to take their fitness to the next level, i could not recommend Joe more for the job. I went to Joe after being told I had a slipped disc that was causing bad sciatica. Not only did Joe get me going in the right direction with the rehab that would prove to be the foundation of my recovery but he also provided a guidance in helping me develop the right mindset for recovery. I have been working with Coach Joe as my trainer since May ‘23. After reviewing my goals, he has tailored each workout to enable me to meet those goals. Ever since the first session, I have been very impressed with his attention to detail with respect to working on my strengths while also improving on my weaknesses. He also pays good attention to recovery and nutrition along with regular guidance on follow up exercises. He incorporates variety of equipment available at the gym bringing a lot of versatility to each workout. He is very personable, never rushes me through, answers all queries, and spends enough time during each session. After few weeks of training, I have personally noticed my fitness levels and recovery markedly improve, thus providing validation of his workout routines for me. I would recommend coach Joe to anyone looking for a fitness trainer.

I've been training with Joe 3-4 times a week for over six months now and it's been great. I was starting from basically zero and Joe has customized each workout to my fitness level and needs. The workouts have been intense, but I haven't experienced any of the issues I had in the past like back pain or intense soreness. Joe focuses on good mechanics and educates me on proper form and the rationale for the activities he is leading me through, ensuring I understand how to perform movements more effectively and get the results I want. Since I started training with Joe I feel better and more energized, and I've lost a bunch of weight too. I will be continuing to train with Joe and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Joe listens to and appreciates what your personal goals are. Mine were focused on fitting in effective workouts at home around my new schedule having just had a baby and starting a new job. He knows how to build workout programs that place importance on functional movements with an emphasis on strength and flexibility. I workout regularly but frustrated whenever the instructor would incorporate a new exercise or set, I would be sore and unable to workout for a day or 2. Joe incorporates stretching/yoga along with strength and endurance training where I am not sore at all. I feel the best I’ve ever felt. He always asks if there are any issues and incorporates something new with every session. He is by far the most unique trainer you can ever find. I give him 100% and highly recommend him.😊😊

Would highly recommend for any fitness level. The morning after my first session with Joe I woke up, got out of bed and my posture was completely different. I was taller, my heart was open and there were muscles between my shoulder blades engaged that I didn’t even know I had. Good bye slouch. The posture correction happened in my body organically. It was effortless. I believe Joe’s functional movement method of working with the body IS the future.
Within the first 2 months of working with Joe I feel like an entirely new me. My left knee is feeling better after 10 years of hurting. Joe meticulously curates each work out as I get stronger and gain mobility. He gives thought to each exercise, the number of reps, the sequencing, proper breathing and even foam rolling. What I really love about Joe is the way he explains WHY we are doing what we are doing.

I tore a tendon connecting my hamstring and glute back in November and sought out Joe on the recommendation of a friend. He's helped me rehab and strengthen my hamstring to the point where I can comfortably play basketball again and has showed me exercises I never would have found on my own. Joe is super knowledgeable about the body and I really enjoy his positive and supportive demeanor during training sessions. Highly recommend!
