I do love this studio’s classes but HOLY COW the new studio is such a downgrade!!! It’s really disappointing.
Gross muggy small and smelly. Nowhere to sit if you need to take shoes on and off.
I was truly baffled when I walked into the new studio. If there is a fitness studio in SF that is spacious and clean and CAN ACTUALLY SURVIVE, can someone please let me know? ☹️

I struggled to get consistent responses from the business owner for 2 weeks via DMs and gave up trying after no responses for an entire week. They refer to themselves being a struggling small business, yet replies from the owner took at least 2 days and communication felt very unprofessional. This left a poor impression on their ability to handle business overall and I’d encourage more timely communication since it reflects on your capabilities as a whole.

Really enjoyed Amol’s class - had a super wonderful flow! Felt so rejuvenated after his class. Please check out Karma (and especially Amol’s) classes when you can!

Really really horrible customer service, the girl at the front counter was rude and unprofessional. Booked through ClassPass and will never be booking or taking a class with them again

This studio is such a gem. From the moment I walked in, I felt a sense of calm and warmth. The space is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, but it’s the energy that really makes it special—grounded, welcoming, and deeply intentional. Definitely going back!

Unfortunate how much business-oriented Karma turned out to be. I have been a member for almost 4 years, if not more. Last year I bought passes that were on sale. I was not able to use all my passes last year a they unilaterally cancelled some classes they had available during December. So it’s ok for them to cancel classes but it’s not ok for a customer to ask to extend the expiration date of my current passes due to medical reasons (pregnancy). I sent an email, asked for an extension, Karma took almost 3 weeks to respond just to say the following: “Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, since these class packages were purchased at a special rate (8 for $80 or $10/class), we are unable to extend the expiration date. Sorry about that!”
-Sorry about that!” Incredible how Karma actually considers (NOT) their customers and their medical reasons, selling this yoga studio as a women empowerment center, not allowing to extend a simple expiration due to something so natural to women (BIRTH). Under this context, even more surprising not to offer any other option other than staying with your subscription money. Sadly I will have to report this to the competent public agencies, since Karma is not transparent: there is a clear information asymmetry, which we all know what that means in business. So sad to see the studio I thought was really a cool safe space turned out to be a just business, unaware of the meaning of Karma.

I’ve been to most of the local yoga studios and karma is my favorite. The power flow classes have a good balance of stretch and workout.
Having assigned mat spots is a big plus for me. At more crowded studios like Yoga Flow I tend to feel like others are in my personal space.
Other reviewers mention the front desk but I’ve not had any issues. They’re friendly imo.

Fantastic workout, very unaccommodating front desk staff. Ended up changing studios because it's just not the vibe for a yoga studio despite how wonderful the instructors are.

Sadly I loved this studio for Taylor’s class alone, but they’re so unaccommodating here. They changed the class time recently to 15 min early without making a big announcement. Of course, I got here 10 min early, which is 6 min after the new start time and they wouldn’t let me in. The front desk girls apparently cannot make any exceptions. I’ve been coming here every week consistently for maybe 6 months - haven’t missed a single class - and now I missed my last class because I’m moving. Honestly I almost cried. This is just not the way to treat your customers.

Ive been racially profiled at this place, first time in 16 years since I’ve been in this country( I’m a POC) I arrived and waited as many people were ahead of me to check in. When my turn finally arrived, This receptionist asked for my name and I gave my full name and the short version of my nickname. She then looks at me and says : “that’s suspicious” and then asks “what’s your real name ?”. Then she says it’s 5:06 pm I can’t get in the class. I’ll never return to this place it’s trash and as the other review below said they have mean girl vibe. This happened today Tuesday at the 5 pm class.

Workout is good for cardio in a heated room.. Staff and instructors are so rude for no reason. (Sam is the only instructor who has been nothing but nice). The front desk girls have mean girl energy and no one is accommodating or nice at all. They have a 10 hour cancellation policy which is crazy to me.. I was rear-ended on my way home from work (about an hour before class) and emailed them letting them know and asked if I could be moved to the next day class instead. They said no, charged me for the class PLUS they charged me extra for a "late cancellation" fee.. So if you sign up, make sure no major life event happens in those 10 hours because they will not be helpful. Overall more stressful and uncomfortable than other yoga/workout places I go to.

Classes are fine, definitely not traditional yoga but a decent workout if you're in the mood. Better places nearby: YogaFlow down the street for more of a true yoga class or CorePower for weighted sculpt style classes. Classes aside, I had some unpleasant experiences with the staff there. The front desk person was quite rude when I asked to move to the back of the class, and the instructor was very aggressive in asking me to move my mat to "my assigned space" when I was just confused about how their studio worked. Could've been handled better. Overall not worth the price for mediocre classes and unfriendly staff.

First time here. I arrived "late" at 6:30 for a 6:30 class. I get that I should have been early but I couldn't make it earlier. Another student came in at the exact same time and they told her she could go in to the class because she had been there before but they told me I couldn't because it was a safety issue since it was my first time. How it is a safety issue for me but not for her is beyond me and seemed rather arbitrary. So if you decide to go here please arrive 10 minutes early on your fist visit to avoid any "safety issues". I wish they had warned me. ⚠️

This is not a traditional yoga studio! Definitely power yoga if anything. Music was super loud. It's also rather expensive, they don't seem to offer any monthly unlimited packages etc. It was very clean though and if you go regularly you'd probably get in shape-just wasn't what I look for in a yoga studio.

Awesome overall experience! A well-designed, clean, yoga studio complemented by friendly staff and incredible instructors! Kalen’s HIIT Flow class was both challenging and fun! She’s a smart instructor who knows how to improve people’s body & mindset simultaneously via the mind-body connection through exercise! Carrie, the owner, has done a fantastic job creating and cultivating such a positive, health-promoting culture! Every employee there made a positive impact on my day, and I’m very grateful I had an opportunity to attend!

Best yoga studio I've ever been to! Their hot pilates class whipped me into shape. The instructors are so friendly and amazing, and they always play the best music! Especially Kalen. The studio is super clean, and has plenty of storage/locker space. Students book classes online in advance via their app - very efficient. Love it here!

Very much like CorePower yoga! The studio is super clean, and the yoga room has the bouncy looking wood floor. Feels nice to step on. Lots of people go to the hot Pilates class it seems. I’ve yet to try it out!

This studio is great. The design, facilities, spaciousness and yoga instruction are all 5-star. Add to that the friendliest most welcoming and accommodating owner and staff and you have a keeper. I hope Karma is around for a long time to come.
