I’ve been training with Ken for about a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. As someone who works long desk job hours, I came in looking to move better, feel better, and eventually build strength and improve my body composition.
What immediately stood out was Ken’s approach from day one - he took the time to do a thorough assessment of my mobility and strength capabilities, plus a complete background before we even started training. This personalized foundation has made all the difference.
Ken has this calm, confident demeanor that makes every session productive without any of the typical “gym bro” attitude. He clearly knows his stuff, listens carefully to feedback, and adjusts programming as needed. Whether you’re just starting out or have specific goals in mind, I’d highly recommend training with Ken.

Kevin Miller is truly dedicated to supporting firefighters as tactical athletes. His commitment to improving firefighter fitness, wellness, and overall performance is exceptional. He understands the physical demands of the job and works hard to provide the right training, guidance, and encouragement. Kevin’s passion for helping firefighters stay strong, healthy, and ready for duty makes a real difference in the fire service community. Highly recommend his programs and support!

I’ve been working with Ken for about a year, and I'm so lucky he was recommended to me. I’ve never loved working out and knew that I wouldn’t be motivated to have a regular routine if I just joined a gym. However, I realized my Sunday hikes were getting more difficult, and I’m at my desk for hours during the week so knew that I needed to get moving for my own long-term health and to maintain strength and stability. Ken listened to my goals and met me where I was when we started. He pushes just enough so I’ve continuously progressed, but provides support and encouragement so I feel successful even when we’re taking something to the next level or I’m just having a tough day. I’m not sure I’ll ever say that working out is fun, but Ken makes it a great experience and can't recommend him enough!!

Ken was amazing! I’m currently an athlete in college, and he was super helpful for getting me back in shape after shoulder surgery. He was fantastic at knowing my limits and pushing me past them when needed. He has so much knowledge that he shared with me so that I really understood why I was doing what I was doing.

I’ve been working with Ken for the past few months, and it’s been a fantastic experience. I initially came to Ken after trying various treatments like chiropractic biophysics to reduce my low back pain and improve my sleep. I also wanted to address other imbalances, improve my mobility and balance, and build strength through proper training.

Ken’s background as a former strength coach at Cal really shows — he knows exactly what he’s doing and provides attentive, hands-on coaching during every second of a session. This has been incredibly valuable for me, as I had developed some bad habits with my form when working out on my own. His guidance has helped me move better, train safely, and make steady progress.

Since working with Ken, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in both my fitness and my sleep. On top of that, Training Station is a fantastic facility — it’s big and open, with plenty of space to move, and I love when the doors are open to let in the fresh air.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, attentive trainer who truly cares about your progress, I can’t recommend Ken enough.

I can't say enough about Ken. Getting back into the gym after a long break is always tough, but he understood exactly where I was coming from. He was able to meet me at my level and scale things up as I was ready.

The workouts are always fresh and I really appreciated that he took my specific goals( improving movement for tennis and skiing) into account from day one. He also sends me write-ups of our sessions, which are helpful for planning my own workouts and cool downs after tennis. Huge progress in a short amount of time.

I had never worked with a personal trainer before so was very uncertain about how it would work out. I have been so comfortable working with Ken over the past 8 months. He pushes you to try new things but always gives the needed support to be successful and keep working harder!

Ken is an incredible trainer! He designed an off-season workout regimen for our high school basketball team, focusing on everything from balance and agility to weights and overall conditioning. It was perfect for the boys as they start their fitness journey as young adults. His state-of-the-art facility, combined with his experience training pro athletes, made it a privilege to have him in their corner. Our group of seven, which we called the “Breakfast Club,” was truly spoiled by the top-notch equipment and Ken’s expertise. Highly recommend!

At each session, Ken takes the time to listen to new requests and updates on how the body is feeling and reacting to the previous workout. Based on that he makes adjustments as needed.

Ken really listened to my goals and answered a ton of questions I had. He made a plan that I could see was really customized to me and my time.

One of the different things about his program is that he programs in rest and recovery just as much as he does workouts!

Communicates really well.

Beyond the fact that Ken is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, he is a consummate professional and highly skilled trainer.

Ken started working with our teen in high school, helping him to strengthen for his unique sport. Ken is patient, knowledgeable, and made the training not only effective, but enjoyable enough that it became something our teen looked forward to! We are extremely pleased with the progress he made!

I would not hesitate to recommend Ken to anyone and everyone looking for a experienced, kind and effective personal trainer.

Ken is on the of the best personal trainers! He makes training fun with his energetic personality. He is also super caring, listening to your needs and pain points. I had the chance to work with him when I was recovering from a hip injury. My main focus was "when will I get to work out again at my normal level", well Ken goes a step further to make sure he is incorporating functional training for everything you do in your everyday life. This is huge because if you skip past every day functions you will never see optimal performance in your workouts. Yes, some of these exercises may be boring, but Ken helps you understand why they are important and he helps you get through the mundane with his witty personality. He also is great at recommending tools to use at home. Highly recommend Ken!

I feel so lucky to have found Ken and the Training Station. He has been wonderful at slowly and methodically returning me to health after a decade of sedentary life. Prior to kids and life hijacking my exercise time, I worked with a lot of trainers. Ken is the best. He has a huge store of knowledge that allows him to adapt a workout on the fly to exactly what you need in the moment. At the same time, he is organized and detail-oriented and can help you meet your long-term goals. I am planning for good health in my seventies and eighties and I am confident that with Ken's help I can get there.

Ken Miller is a phenomenal coach and leader. I have had the pleasure of both working with him as a training client and as a mentee. I have also attended numerous of his NASM workshops both at his facility and at larger conferences. He is both professional and analytical, has offered me guidance (when I've asked for it), compassion, and is a huge well of health and fitness related information. If you're someone looking to get in shape or excel athletically, he's your man. If you are interested in pursuing a mentorship, I HIGHLY recommend Ken Miller as he is one of the best in the biz. Cant go wrong here.

Ken Miller is one of the best trainers I know. His attention to detail during my assessment, along with his knowledge, far exceed any trainer I know in this area. Ken, not only trains clients, he is a national and international presenter on a variety of topics relative to fitness and performance - which is how I learned about his expertise working with youth athletes, everyday people (like me), and professional athletes. The facility is top-notch and everyone was extremely friendly!

Best money spent. Ken is not just about telling you what to do, but explaining the why. Also listens to your goals, builds a program around that and keeps it interesting with varied workout routines. Also pushes me to do what I thought might not be possible.

Since we do more than 300 minutes a week, are we going to get younger , perhaps 5 minutes each week?😄
I certainly feel that way after each week of daily workout.
Thanks for keeping us “stretched” Mr Miller!

An unbeatable service for Busy Parents!

I've had the privilege of experiencing Ken's training firsthand, and it's nothing short of exceptional. A NASM Master Trainer, Ken redefined my fitness journey. His guarantee to help busy parents look better, feel better, and be their best for their families is not just a promise; it's a commitment he wholeheartedly delivers on.

Having first met Ken at a Perform Better event a couple of years ago, I was immediately struck by his dynamic presentation style. As a presenter and educator, Ken is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly engaging and fun. This infectious energy carries over into his personal training sessions, creating an environment that is both challenging and enjoyable.

What sets Ken apart is his genuine care for his clients. He goes beyond the role of a trainer, acting as a motivator and supporter throughout your fitness journey. Our friendship has flourished over the years, a testament to the authentic connections he forges with those he trains.

More than a fitness expert; he's a dedicated professional who combines knowledge, passion, and a personal touch. If you're seeking a trainer who not only knows the ropes but genuinely cares about your well-being, Ken is the one to trust. I consider myself fortunate to call him a friend.

Ken Miller trained my daughter her last two years of high school. He taught her all aspects of proper fitness. She was able to take what she learned from Ken to college for her athletic career. She is able to engage in team "lifts" in a safe, injury-free, beneficial manner based on the lessons she learned from Ken. I highly recommend him.
