With several Free Standing Bags and Aqua Training Bags, each workout will never be boring! We also offer Power Kickboxing Classes that incorporate strength training with weights!

MUST Bring: boxing gloves or you'll have to pay $2 for rental.
You can bring your own hand wraps but it’s not necessary.
FYI: it's no shoes during exercise. You can wear socks or no socks.

Located inside 24 Hour Fitness gym.
Just ask the front desk person if 24 Hour that you're here for the kickboxing class. The kickboxing class is just at the entrance on the left side.
It was my first time trying this class and it was pretty fun and intense.
The class was Power Kickboxing.
You either start with weights or kickbox. 1/2 the time was weights and 1/2 time was kickboxing on the bag or kicking stand.
There are written exercises on the white board if you forget.
The couch, James, went through just the weights and he recommended to start weights if you're new cuz he only goes over weights at the beginning of class. Once you switch he doesn't demo them.
You go around each exercising pods in your section then switch to the other side. Even though James didn't go over the punches or kicks, he did demonstrate it to us because this is our first time I we don't know what he's writing on his white board.
I was super sweaty by the end of it. It was fun! Good upbeat music to the exercises.
There is a water fountain, restroom, but no showers. You can prob use 24 Hour showers in the locker rooms.

I took my first kickboxing class today, and it was such a humbling experience. I went into Marisol’s fitness boxing class thinking it would just be another solid workout since I already hybrid train with running, weightlifting, and cycling every week. I was completely wrong—this class absolutely kicked my ass, in the best way possible. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I’m already looking forward to coming back for more.
Marisol was so welcoming and helped ease my first-class nerves, and I really appreciated how friendly Mike was when I checked me in at the desk. The whole environment felt supportive and motivating.
This was an amazing first-time experience, and I’m so glad I signed up. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new and challenging!

I’ve been training at Kickboxing Club Fitness in Downey for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The coaches are super supportive, knowledgeable, and push you to do your best every session. The workouts are always fun, challenging, and never feel repetitive.
The atmosphere is really welcoming—everyone here, from beginners to advanced, feels like part of a team. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my fitness, energy, and confidence since joining.
If you’re looking for a great place to get in shape, learn real kickboxing techniques, and meet awesome people, I highly recommend giving this club a try!

As someone who's new and still learning the basics of kickboxing, I’ve felt incredibly supported in the evening classes with Marisol, Michael, Kevin, and Josh. Each instructor is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping everyone improve, regardless of experience level. Marisol stands out with her infectious energy and constant motivation. These classes have been physically demanding but deeply rewarding, helping me build both confidence and mental resilience. I highly recommend this program to anyone, especially beginners looking for a positive, structured environment to grow in.

10/10 I absolutely love the kickboxing fitness classes in Downey! The trainers are incredible—so motivating and supportive, always pushing you to do your best, even when you’re struggling. I especially want to shout out Marisol, Kevin, Josh, and Michael for being so kind and encouraging. I never feel judged or guilty for not getting the moves right on the first try—they create such a welcoming, positive environment that keeps me coming back.
These classes have been a huge help both physically and mentally. I’ve been going through grief recently, and this space has become a much-needed escape. The workouts keep my mind focused and give me a real sense of accomplishment. I’m so grateful for this place—it’s truly been a bright spot in my journey.

Instructors are great and kind. Their deals/promotions are scams, they don't follow through. The cancelation process is a mess. They don't answer calls or return calls when you leave messages. You have to contact multiple emails just to cancel. Their sign up process was also a mess you. They say you can choose a plan on the app then the app doesn't recognize you and you have to stick with their most expensive plan that had already been set up for you. They are incredibly rude and do not listen when you explain he frustrations and how their own system is keeping you from canceling or even keeping a plan you would like. They just want money. They say payments are mandatory no matter the situation for 30 days whether you use it or not. They do not care for their customer nor do they care to try to keep them. I would encourage for you to go elsewhere where they do care.

I joined Kickboxing Club during their grand opening and was able to take advantage of their special deal. From the start, the instructors were incredibly welcoming and supportive. They consistently check in to ensure proper form, see how you're feeling, and remind everyone to take breaks when needed, as the workouts can be intense. I’m also really enjoying their Power Kickboxing classes, which combine full-body workouts with kickboxing techniques. The instructors do a great job of providing guidance and support throughout each session. As of now, this is the only workout I’ve incorporated into my daily routine, and I’ve been able to stay committed to it. I genuinely enjoy each class and look forward to improving my kickboxing skills. This club is definitely worth it! :)

Love that they opened up in Downey! Signed up for their Pre-Opening special prior to them opening and glad I secured that! The process was smooth and opening day was great! The instructors are incredibly helpful and the space is always clean! Definitely recommend for somebody looking for an awesome group class environment and an amazing workout!

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of the Downey location because it’s so much closer to home, and now I have no excuse not to attend classes! So far, this has been the only fitness regimen I’ve been able to stick with consistently, and I always look forward to the next class.
The coaches are fantastic—knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to help in any way they can. The atmosphere in the room is incredibly welcoming, and the people who attend the classes are just as friendly and encouraging.
Every day I go in with the goal of kicking butt, but the aqua bags, standing bags, and ab workouts definitely challenge me in ways I didn’t expect. Despite the tough workouts, I leave every class feeling accomplished and eager to come back the next day. It’s tough, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
