We’ve been at KidStrong since September and our 18-month-old LOVES it! The coaches are amazing and we’ve already seen such huge growth in Eve’s confidence and physical skills. Highly recommend — it’s become one of the best parts of our week!

The ease of setting up a trial, having my son attend, and ultimately signing him up was so nice! The coaches treated my son like he was already part of the team, and called him by name. He smiled the whole time, even when doing push ups!

Exceptional Coaches & Pure Fun!
We just took our 2-year-old and 6-year-old for a trial class at KidStrong Livermore, and it was absolutely fantastic!
The facility is clean, energetic, and perfectly designed, but the real highlight was Coach Michael and Coach Aleah. They were exceptional—incredibly engaging, patient, and knew exactly how to make the activities fun for both a toddler and a Kindergartner. They managed to keep both boys active, challenged, and smiling the whole time.
The class structure struck a great balance between skill-building, teamwork, and burning off energy. Both boys had an absolute blast and haven't stopped asking when they get to go back. If you are considering an activity that builds confidence, strength, and coordination, look no further. Highly recommend!

I will give Livermore location 4.5 stars. We have been to here for two years since my kid was 4ish. Starting with parenting participation and slowly transfer my kid to old kid program. We have good coaches who are super passionate working with kids and okay ones. But I learned that giving new coaches to grow is also important. Like any other business, employee retention is the hardest. I see the owner Michael and Rachel on site supporting the program and constantly getting feedback from me. It’s a good community to be in. We couldn’t appreciate more. I highly recommend this program for families who want their kids to adapt early workout habits, social, confidence, problem solving skills. I have seen the progress my kid has made. Little by little every time he comes.

Kidstrong has helped my daughter grow socially and gain confidence. We have seen so much development and we have the staff at her school commenting on how much she has improved with her social skills. She is also learning about the muscles on her body and learning how to keep healthy through movement. We love Kidstrong!!!

My 20 month old son is high energy and is constantly moving. KidStrong felt like a safe space for him to run around to get his energy out while learning new things and socializing with other kids near his age group. The couches are phenomenal and took the time to assist my son in different activities and made sure he felt welcome and included. Overall, best experience this far doing an activity outside the home where my son could free to express his inner wild child.

Parents, Be Aware – Serious Safety Concerns at Camp
I’ve trusted KidStrong classes and my son loves them, but their weekly summer camp is a different story. My 5-year-old came home with an injury three days in a row. After the third incident, I kept him home. One injury required a visit to urgent care for X-rays.
I was never informed that he was hurt. Doors are left unlocked throughout the day, no ID checks at pickup, and kids ages 4–11 are grouped together with just one or two teen coaches.
I texted the manager, Lindsay, after the third incident—no response at all. As a parent, that lack of accountability is deeply concerning.
Until safety and communication are taken seriously, I can’t recommend this camp to other families.

My son loves KidStrong! It’s not just a fitness center for kids where they can work out…it works on thier stamina, endurance, and confidence. It teaches work ethic, and pushing through something difficult or challenging. The lessons support team work and problem solving, which are huge LIFE lessons in itself. I appreciate that there are challenges that take the kids outside of their comfort zone like public speaking, or meeting new people, and how to advocate for yourself.

Unprofessional, Rude, and Unwelcoming – Avoid This Place!
I cannot recommend KidStrong to anyone after my terrible experience there. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was cold and unfriendly—no smile, no warmth, just pure rudeness. However, the real issue was the way I was publicly reprimanded in front of a group of parents in the middle of my son’s class.
My child—who, by the way, was the only African American child in the room—was doing exceptionally well for only his second day in a brand-new environment. He was following along, engaged, and participating. At one point, a coach briefly showed him how to do an activity (which is literally their job), and that’s when the front desk staff took it upon herself to humiliate me in front of the other parents.
Her exact words? “The coach has to spend his time with your son, and it takes away from all of the other children.” Excuse me? My child, who was doing his best and was not disrupting the class in any way, was suddenly a burden? The implication was clear, and it was completely inappropriate.
The whole interaction was unnecessary, aggressive, and frankly, discriminatory. If this is how they treat families of color—singling them out, holding them to different standards, and making them feel unwelcome—then this place is absolutely not a safe or inclusive space.
Do not bring your children here. There are plenty of other programs that actually care about kids and their families. KidStrong is not one of them.
Response to Owner’s Reply Below:
Owner: Hi Jessicah, I do want to apologize for your experience. We never want to make someone feel unwelcomed. I want to remind you that our policies apply to everyone and your son's class is parent-based. He has been rocking it! But that doesn't negate the requirement for all parents to be present on the blue floor during our parent based classes. This interaction was necessary to uphold our policies, however I am sorry that it hurt you, that is never our intention. I do hope you can understand that this conversation was not from a place of discrimination or negativity. Miles is crushing classes and we hope to see you all back again. Again, I do apologize for your negative experience, but from the bottom of my heart, I can assure you it was in no way to single you out for any reason.
My Response:
I appreciate your response, but I want to clarify a few things. At no point during either session did you or your front desk staff take the time to go over policies or expectations with me. I arrived early on both occasions, yet no one explained what to expect before, during, or after a KidStrong class. If parent participation is a requirement, that should have been communicated upfront—not used as a justification to publicly reprimand me in the middle of my son’s class.
Additionally, you are missing the point about our interaction. It wasn’t just about enforcing a policy—it was about how you did it. Your tone and word choice were condescending and unnecessary. You told me that the coach, who spent all of three minutes guiding my son, was “tied up” by him and that this took away from the other children. Which children? Every single one had a parent assisting them. My child didn’t require the same level of “hand-holding” as others, but every child had two parents there—one actively helping.
We chose KidStrong not for agility—he already excels at that. We chose it for our son so that he could learn teamwork, confidence, and bravery. Instead, I was met with unprofessionalism and an unwelcoming attitude. Please remember that we are paying customers who help build your business. How parents are treated matters just as much as the experience for the kids.
I hope you take this as an opportunity for reflection, because no family should feel the way I did at your facility.

KidStrong had a very welcoming and fun environment for the kids. I particularly liked that they sprinkled in a handful of free play where your child could roam and try out all of the gym equipment and get more comfortable and have fun. I live 35mins away (with traffic) and considering signing up my 19 month daughter as it would be great for her development and be able to socialize.

I liked the coaching style and the holistic activities planned, classmates were friendly and engaging. There was no pressure, no judgment, purely positive and motivating atmosphere. Great for focus, body strength and confidence building and worked really well for my high energy autistic kid. I loved that the instructions for upcoming activities were visual, which worked great for my kid. One thing they could improve on is decreasing the class size so the coaches can efficiently focus on helping each child follow correct technique.

HUGE fan of Kidstrong! We signed up our 8 yo grandson almost a year ago and he’s attended weekly sessions consistently since then. He’s also participated in day camps offered during the summer and school holidays. Kidstrong has helped to improve his spatial awareness, athletic ability and confidence! We’re huge fans of KS and often use their mantra at home ‘I am strong, I am brave, I can do anything!’. Anytime our grandson reaches a milestone during class, he runs home to update his chart. KS has also kept us motivated to stay active as a family with bike rides and nature walks. The staff is always friendly, attentive and helpful.

I took my 15 month old to his first class at kids strong. The first class is complementary in order for you to have a good experience and see if it’s a right fit for you and your family. My son doesn’t go to daycare and he is with his grandmother most of the day while I’m at work my concern was his social interaction with other kids and other adults, I feel like this is a great fit for him and will be fun as he grows. The staff was great. The coaches were fantastic and super fun and energetic. The facility was clean and easy to find I like being able to book on the app As well!
If you’re even thinking about taking a class. It doesn’t hurt to try the first one free there is no pressure to sign up for a membership at the end of the visit.

TLDR! If I could give zero stars and leave a review for this place, I would.
Long version: This program markets heavily on child growth and coaching. This is FAR FROM THE TRUTH for the staff at the Livermore location.
Our child has ADHD and ODD. Which they know upon intake. The treatment we've gotten after two instances pegging our kid as the bad child is clearly against their marketing material. We chose this camp because we felt that our child would be welcomed here, understood, and helped. However, we were quick to be told that they can't have disobedience and there is no time for this. Granted there is never an excuse for any situation. However, approach it with tact. If neurodiverse children are not welcomed, understood, or given a chance with the benefit of a doubt then don't market yourselves as such! Take time to understand all situations, realizing that children with these disabilities cannot defend themselves.

All of the coaches are professional, and handle the kids with kindness and patience. They all have high educational degrees and see the benefits of exercise and child development. Awesome coaches and well structured classes make this a really great activity for getting kids moving and building teamwork skills. We have seen kids with some fitness and confidence issues really benefit, and through regular "ranking up" to reward effort, ability and attendance, they are offered the chance to lead some exercises. We have noticed their confidence is so much better now and we see it filtering through to PE at school too. Would definitely recommend this!
