Kidz Corner USA is my two daughters’ second home! They have been with the gym for 4 years! My girls never want to go to any other gym!

Coach Stephanie is an amazing coach. She not only teaches the kids gymnastics skills, but also gives them lots of opportunities to develop other skills. She gives them opportunities to perform at community events, which help develop confidence. She also gives them opportunities to co-host parties and interview one another, which help develop communication and social skills. She takes the competition team to hikes, which help develop endurance. She not only keeps things fun and light for the competitive gymnastics, but also makes sure that they are focused and dedicated in reaching their goals. We are super duper blessed to have Coach Stephanie as the girls’ gymnastics coach! The city of Salinas is also indeed blessed to have her gym!

The other coaches are amazing as well! They are not only dedicated to develop the kids’ gymnastics skills, but also cares for them too. Gymnastics is a sport that requires focus and structure, yet the coaches really try to make it fun for the kids! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIDZ CORNER USA!

Kidz Corner USA is a wonderful, nurturing environment where all children are encouraged to grow and realize their own individual abilities, while building confidence and team building skills. Both of my daughters have been doing gymnastics with Coach Stephanie at Kids Corner USA for over 15 years, and we truly can’t say enough wonderful things about her! She has been such a consistent and positive influence in their lives—from their very first cartwheels to advanced skills, Coach Stephanie has supported them every step of the way.

Her passion, patience, and dedication to each child’s growth are unmatched. She knows how to push kids to reach their full potential while always making sure they feel confident and encouraged. As the mother of a girl who spent two years in this program, I want to share our experience so other parents can make informed decisions. My intention is not to shame anyone or any business, but to promote accountability and transparency.
We helped organize a fundraiser using my daughter’s name, believing the money would support her training. After all that effort, she was ultimately excluded from the program and treated differently from some of the other girls. Favoritism appeared to be a factor certain athletes received most of the attention and support, while my daughter was frequently overlooked.
Because quality gymnastics options in Salinas are limited and this is my daughter’s passion, we stayed as long as we could. When she left the program, I posted a single anonymous review on Yelp to share what happened.
The owner then messaged me privately using the same fake name from our anonymous review and stated that “appropriate steps” would be taken if we continued speaking out. That kind of response felt more like intimidation than a willingness to address real concerns.
The owner claims Kidz Corner USA is separate from the Imperial Performance Program, but they share the same coach, the same location, and the same owner Stephanie Bayer, who signed the message directly.
After sharing our experience, another parent reached out to say she personally saw how my daughter was ignored unless she was going through something serious. I’ve attached a screenshot of that message, with all names and identifying information removed, simply to show that we are not alone in how we felt.
This is not about disappointment over team selection. This is about how a child was used to raise money, then excluded, and how a family was pressured to stay quiet.
I hope our experience encourages other parents to ask questions, and that moving forward, Salinas families will have better, more professional options for their children.

I stopped in today with my toddler and couldn’t have been more impressed! The staff is super friendly and welcoming to newcomers. They were interactive with my son and he had a blast at their amazing facility! We’ll see you guys next week 😊

Kidz Corner USA is a refined gym full of love and respect.
Coach Stephanie has patience compassion and very much respect for all her kids. Coach oversees every event and competition herself. She has grown to the community with eager passion for children to be and believe they can be anything they want to be. She knows every kid personally strengths and weaknesses and develops a personal plan for success.
We been with Coach since my daughter was 3 years old and she is now 10 years old. She got her pigeon toes clumsy kid tumbling and rolling all the way to her comp team.
She gained my trust respect and admiration to have her as my only girl mommy's princess under her care. I would trust her with my eyes closed and that means more to me than anything else.
My youngest son is struggling with sports and she took him in and developed a program for him to condition him and prepare him for whatever he chooses to do when he's older. Her staff guides and works with him and the other children to give them confidence and passion to be active and condition there little bodies.
Thank you Coach Stephanie and Kidz Corner Staff for the continuous hard work and love you give to not just my children to all of our community.

Coach Stephanie is great with the kids. Making them feel loved, welcomed and encouraged.
My daughter was with her for 5 years when we decided to switch gyms- Stephanie not only stopped our membership mid month (she reimbursed the difference) she did it after our last comp via email the next day. My daughter who was 10 at the time didn’t get to go say bye to any of the coaches let alone her gym sisters. She was left completely with NO CLOSURE. It was more upsetting that Stephanie didn’t want to say goodbye to her or send her off with support. Especially when she’s all about girl power and supporting one another. This was a VERY hard lesson my daughter had to learn let alone I’m sure the other girls confused as well as they had no closure or what ever Stephanie chose to tell them.

Stephanie Bayer is simply the best, with the best prices in town!!! She took my two kids that used to trip over air and helped my son become grounded and sure footed. She helped my daughter become a beautifully graceful, competitive gymnast. We have been with KCUSA for 6 years and would never go anywhere else!!!

My daughter & I love this place!!! Been a part of Kidz Corner USA since my daughter was 6 yrs old (she’s now 10). She’s a member of their gymnastics comp team. Everything about this place is very welcoming. They get the kids involved in so many things. Whether it’s inside the gym or doing outside projects, such as the Kiddie Kapers parade. She makes it fun for everyone. It’s also a lot less expensive than all other similar programs in the area. The classes are also much smaller so you get more personal one on one time with your child. If your child likes gymnastics, dance, cheerleading or just wants somewhere to go to have fun, this is the place to go. I’d definitely recommend this place!!
