I have been training at Krav Maga Unyted for almost two years. I came in and knew nothing about Krav Maga so it was nice to be in an environment where the trainers were supportive yet pushed you hard. I began my training here with a bag class which helped me immensely with my stamina and then I got into the actual Krav Classes where I began learning the craft of Krav Maga. There is a system here where you can come in and train to go through the different belt classes. The club is clean, well designed, and in a great location. The customer service is inviting. I would highly recommend coming here!

I can’t speak to the facilities (sounds decent honestly) because I’ll never go here because they don’t have their prices online. In this day and age where information should so easily be available it always seems shady when companies insist you have to call or go take a free class to get their prices. No thanks Karen, I’d rather know my full options before deciding whether or not to spend any of my time here. They definitely need some new PR/marketing before I’ll give them any of my time or money. A lot of my generation hates making phone calls and they’re losing a lot of potential customers (like me) by doing this.

I had a poor experience with the instructor. Don’t waste your time or money with people who show you contempt and discrimination. If you do, don’t rent the gloves. They are served sweaty and make your hands stink for a small fee. I have since prepared my 30 day membership cancellation due to other reasons.

I was 5 minutes late to be exact and I wasn't accepted into the class just trying to figure out where the entrance was I was turned away. Not a good business not a good place. Warmed up this morning and was ready to go was not accepted!!!

Lots of Drunks that hang around the area so its perfect to learn Krav here . I took out a drunk once who tried to get crazy with me .

Krav Maga Unyted is the best place been there six months now, the instructors and people who go there are really friendly and cool, everyone there including the instructors encourage and motivate you to work hard and improve, they push you to challenge yourself without the demeaning military style vocabulary.

the place is super clean, the staff is really nice and friendly, the classes are challenging, when I started out for the first few months I went balls to the walls all out, but then got an injury, the instructors have had me slow down, especially being middle age, the injuries dont heal as fast.

either way this place is great everyone including the top guy Jarret the owner, the instructors, the staff and the students make you feel right at home.

this is a great place I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to learn self defense, get in shape or just hang out with really cool people.

I've been a member with Unyted for a few months and I am extremely satisfied with the level of instruction and facilities as they are building up. I am a former member of Krav Maga Worldwide in West LA where many of the instructors and founder of this school are from. I switched so I wouldn't have to spend time commuting in traffic to get to my self defense classes and I have talked to other members who have also done the same. Downtown LA is a great spot if you are looking for elite mixed martial arts defense training near downtown LA, Pasadena, San Gabriel Valley, Highland Park, Koreatown etc. Its a good gym if you go to Cal State LA or USC or you live or work near downtown LA, which as you know is developing and growing exponentially every year. Unyted is a smaller facility but that means more personal instruction, smaller classes and more of a club/family feel environment. You can get to know people's names pretty fast here. The instructors are at the top of their game and they will work you out, help you lose weight, help you get a black belt, train you to feel safe in the city or abroad or whatever your goals are. The staff are extremely nice, the facilities are clean, the showers are nice, towels are provided. There isn't a cage match fight club attitude here, it is logical and realistic self defense that makes you feel like you can defend yourself if you were to get robbed or jumped, its a great STRESS RELIEF to take a cardio bag class, there is a great salad place next store to get healthy food before or after class and parking is included in your tuition. I am happy to be a member here and would recommend it to many people interested in a great workout and a great small training facility with top notch MMA instructors.
