I personally cannot recommend Kris enough. I booked these lessons as a father-son trip, and we both had nothing but positive things to say about the experience as a whole. Kris was not just incredibly knowledgeable, but he simplified everything about the process while combining his experience and technique to help my game immensely. Unlike other golf lessons previously that try to change your entire swing, Kris helped adjust things about my swing to try to work with my biases and increase my ability to make good contact.

Like any kind of lesson or instruction, it gets down to just a couple of basic factors; 1) does the instructor know the subject matter, and 2) can they communicate that effectively to the person/s being instructed. I attended a day long golf instruction with Kris and was very much impressed with what he has to offer a 20 handicapper like myself. The ‘teaching’ of golf has (like most every other human endeavors), has undergone tremendous transformation the past 50 to 100 years. The scientific underpinnings of what Kris is teaching are groundbreaking, and will undoubtedly be the standard going forward. Additionally, Kris has a wonderful way of being able to communicate (and demonstrate) this potentially transformative information to a student wanting to improve his or her game. I highly recommend Kris.

The Kris Moe Golf School was awesome, and more than I expected. I called Kris to inquire about the school, and within two days I had an email inviting me to the next session. I am just over a year removed from shoulder surgery, and my fundamentals were sorely lacking especially with the driver. I did share my injury with Kris over phone, and the first thing he asked upon our introduction was, how's your shoulder. I assured him it was sound, hence my attending the golf school. Once on the practice area Kris observed me, and the other two attendees , while he moved about talking to all of us, as well as providing individual feedback. Within a few minutes my flaws were pointed out, and Kris quickly provided tutelage to correct my flaws. I put to practice what I was shown and began to hit my driver straighter and with a slight draw, still working on a bigger draw, but and very happy with how I am hitting the ball now. I've also applied the instructions to rest of my bag, and I know this is the year I break 80! During our playing lesson Kris discussed, and pointed out all that we learned, and demonstrated what he'd shared. In addition we all got to make a personalized video on the course with Kris covering all of the points taught earlier so that we'd all have something to refer back to to keep us on track. I highly recommend the Kris Moe Golf School! Thank you Kris :)

Kris provides a great foundation for both the golf swing and the golf mentality!
I did a group lesson with varying levels of player skill. I am a 4.7 GHIN and was interested (I thought) in a couple things to increase backspin and distance I have lost as I have aged.
Kris spotted some bad habits right away that had crept into my swing over the years and he provided me with some great feedback, drills and swing thoughts that I am already sure will return me to a better swing.
It was a really fun day and I saw him help some of the other players with great thoughts and ideas that changed their game for the better almost immediately. I made some new friends as well which is always irreplaceable.

It's gonna be a fun season thanks to Kris's knowledge and very positive attitude towards golf, people and life !!

Kris Moe's Golf School is excellent. The class was really fun, very informative, and worth every penny. I play once a month, have a very high handicap, and needed work on the fundamentals. The group was surprisingly very small (only four students including me) and consisted of a variety of skill levels (one student was a near scratch golfer). Kris asked each of us about our goals and then proceeded to work with each student on rotation throughout the entire day. He quickly identifies issues and then instructs you on the fix. Not content with a one-time fix, at the end of the course Kris leaves you with a personalized recorded summary of what you learned (and how you learned it) so that you can practice at home. I have been raving about the program to friends and family and recommend it to you too!

Kris is amazing! We had a group event and Kris and his team were extremely patient, professional and knowledgeable. Even though our group were novices, Kris didn't make anyone feel inadequate. The entire group had an enjoyable time and everyone learned golf tips and strategy. In fact, two members of our group are now taking lessons to improve their game. Kris even stayed later than we had contracted to make sure our crew had plenty of time to learn.

If you are looking for a kind, fun and impressive teacher, Kris is the man! I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their game or just learn the basics about golf.

What a great weekend! Kris was so helpful!! Easy to understand, aware of what we were trying to accomplish, and excellent tools to get us there. All taking place in a beautiful setting. Chardonnay golf course is a beautiful course to learn, unlearn and relearn golf. Kris made me unlearn my slice/power fade ;-) in the first hour just by changing my grip and lo and behold I was hitting the ball relatively straight. One of my learning objectives was to be a consistently straight hitter and by the end of the 2 day school, I was hitting 75% of my shots straight, which was an exponential increase. I am still working on my mid irons and Kris' suggestions for lag impact are helping. T;;hat's tough for someone like me, who is used to hitting under the ball and not compressing the ball.
Apart from golf, Kris has varied interests in everything tech and we had some very insightful discussions on various topics like AI and Golf tech. The pace of the course was just right and it did not leave me fatigued in any way.
Would definitely recommend it heartily .

My Dad and I just did a full day lesson (10am - 4pm) with Kris today at Chardonnay and I have to say I haven't been this excited about my golf game since I was a little kid! I'm a +3.0 index and my Dad is a 5.5 so we both had different goals going into the day and I know we both got a lot out of the instruction.

Kris made the instruction fun AND easy to understand for us. He also gave me a couple secrets to gain 5-10 extra yards off the tee.

PLUS, he even made a short video for each of us at the end of the day so that we can go back and look at what we worked on.

I would highly recommend doing a 1 or 2 day lesson with Kris if you want to take your game to the next level.

My husband and I had the best weekend with Kris! I am a beginner golfer and I learned more in two days than I could have ever imagined. I feel confident enough to play on an 18-hole course and I'm excited to continue the habits and lessons I learned from Kris throughout my lifetime. Just finished a great couple of days with Kris up in Napa. First time taking a golf lesson and I was a little concerned with not wanting to "re-build" anything, but rather work specifically on a couple of specific shot types. Kris was able to convey some great tips in the first 3 hours and I was well on my way. In my group of four, each of us had different goals for the session and Kris was great at keying in on a couple of items (specific to each person) to put them on the right path. Highly recommend Kris for coaching and he is also a blast to hang out with. We will be back.

When my buddies and I took Kris’s weekend vacation class I had preconceived ideas about him regurgitating the same things all other PGA instructors do because people always say “this is just how you have to do it” I was so surprised and impressed about the level of thought this man puts into his classes and golf as a whole. His years of constant searching for the best, most productive methods and ways to improve are evident as you take the course. I loved his enthusiasm and he taught me multiple things that have me primed to get into the mid 70’s, a goal I thought I just couldn’t achieve until I met this man. Much love for Mr. Kris Moe! I learned more in 2 days from Kris than I have in the last 10 years of taking lessons from various club pros. Kris has a way of breaking down my swing and providing me with the tools to build a solid swing to become a better golfer. In less than 2 days, I started seeing results.
