Training with Kyle has been a game changer for me. From day one, he’s been professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my progress. Every workout is customized to my goals and fitness level, and he always knows how to push me just the right amount without making it feel overwhelming.
Kyle has helped me improve not just physically, but mentally as well. I’ve gained strength, confidence, and consistency thanks to his guidance and encouragement. He takes the time to explain movements, correct form, and keep things interesting with a great mix of workouts.

I’ve had an incredible experience working with Kyle. As someone who suffers from chronic back pain and was previously very overweight with limited mobility, I was unsure how to approach exercise. Kyle designed modified workouts that were not only manageable but also life-changing for me. His approach was perfect for my sedentary lifestyle, and I saw improvements I never thought possible.

Kyle is the best! I was having all kinds of problems, with my back, knee, shoulder. Kyle developed a routine for me that worked around my injuries. He helped me strengthen and balance everything to avoid future injuries. I moved away a while ago so I don't see him anymore, but I still use a lot of the exercises that he taught me. I would highly recommend him.

Can't say enough good things about Kyle Alton Personal Training!
I have been working with Kyle three days a week for approximately 10 months and am more than pleased with the results I have achieved.
Kyle is extremely professional and spent a lot of time in the beginning working to understand what my overall fitness goals were as well as assessing my current fitness level. From that point, he has helped me achieve goal after goal in improving my overall health and fitness level.
Under his guidance I have seen increases in flexibility, strength and conditioning while at the same time seeing the weight loss I have been seeking. Throughout the process Kyle has shown himself to be an excellent teacher, motivator, coach and source of knowledge on exercise and nutrition.
One of my biggest concerns going into an exercise regimen was getting bored and doing the same exercises session after session, this was definitely not the case with Kyle Alton Personal Training. Over the months, Kyle has continued to push my training forward using a variety of exercises/lifts to challenge me and improve my overall fitness.
I encourage anyone who is looking for a personal trainer, to give Kyle a call!

Kyle is the best! He tailors your workout to your personal goals physical abilities and routinely changes the workouts to keep your body from getting content with any one particular exercise. More important, he genuinely cares about your well being. He gives great advice for working out on your own away from his gym as well as helping you plan healthier meals that are enjoyable to eat.

I finally had to admit I needed help and what attracted me to Kyle was his mission to work with us "older" folks over 40. I had to admit that I wasn't going to work out on my own and needed the accountability. Kyle has been patient as I battled covid and arthritic knee flareups. He is supervising my recovery and I appreciate the personal workout plan that I don't have to think about, I just do it! I would highly recommend Kyle if you feel that personal training is what you need for your own personal journey.

I began working out with Kyle in February, and I’m on pace to lose 60lbs this year (will post progress pics after the 12 month mark).
I tried public gyms, but this is secluded and private. I go in for my workout and I’m out, no waiting for machines, and there’s no overcrowding. Kyle works with you and for you.

If you’re unsure about personal training, do yourself a favor and give it a try - it can transform more than just your body.
I found Kyle in spring of 2022 after injuring my lower back. My injury was healing up and my doctor had recommended I find a personal trainer to analyze my workout form, since my injury had occurred while working out alone. I reached out through his website and was surprised to get such a detailed, and thoughtful response from him. Right away I knew he was a person that cared about others.
Kyle and I met at his training studio in Salida, and we discussed just about everything related to my injury, other injuries in my past, my current and long term goals and even questions to gauge my level of knowledge as it relates to fitness and exercise. Kyle was conversational and professional, and immediately put me at ease. I have had personal training with great coaches in the past, and have even trained others myself, yet I still knew I was going to learn from Kyle.
By the 2nd visit I was learning new variations of exercises to try, ways to accommodate my still aching back and of course, ways to prevent future injuries. My 3rd visit was a lot of fun, implementing those new variations and sharing my success in a positive environment. I had a lot of fun training with Kyle, and there may have been an impromptu pull-up battle at one point at my urging (that I won 😉).
Everybody wants to see results, that’s why we hire a coach or trainer in the first place. I’m happy to report that I reached my short term goal of rehabbing my back injury quickly (within weeks), and I reached my longer term goal of rebuilding the muscle I had lost and losing the fat I put on during the injury. My entire experience working with Kyle was unique and personal, just as personal training should be.
If you want someone to scream at you to move your butt, buy a Peloton.
If you want someone to teach you so you can become self sufficient, consider Kyle Alton Personal Training.

Kyle is an amazing trainer. He has a vast knowledge of form, fitness, and musculoskeletal injuries. Which was the physical condition that I came to him in 3 years ago. I was out of shape and suffering from a serious repetitive stress injury in both arms from wrist to shoulder. After weeks of physical therapy, the therapist had "graduated" me because there was nothing more they could do. At the time I had been off work for 6 months, still unable to function at work and in real pain. It took us about a year of 3 days a week for 30 minutes a session for me to fully recover and improve my strength and range of motion, pain free. He saved my role in clinical practice, because as a registered nurse, I am useless at healing patients without my hands and arms.
He goes above and beyond exercise by being mindful of you as a whole person and striving to meet your goals while actively listening to feedback and providing sound solutions. For these reasons, I am still working with him today and hope he never moves or retires.

Kyle has been my trainer for two years and my wife’s for one year. He does an outstanding job listening and designing individual programs based on client’s current needs/goals.
Kyle is a great teacher. He guides and consistently monitors proper technique throughout each cycle and repetition.
I’m particularly grateful for his humor skill and kindness helping this senior citizen with mild cognitive impairment.
I enjoy the variety of exercises that have provided significant decreases in neck and spinal pain.
Years ago I went to gyms and usually left after a few weeks due to the general atmosphere and lack of real instruction.

I was not new to working out and did so for many years before I contacted Kyle. But the challenges and distractions of everyday life can easily get in the way and I never fully developed the dedication and passion to do something for myself. Almost 3 years ago, I contacted Kyle and the journey began. This is NOT the typical personal training experience that you receive at one of the chain fitness centers. Kyle emphasizes the 'personal' aspect of his service, balancing the client wants with his expertise to create a path to your goals. Many trainers take a 'one size fits all' approach and push the client through those workouts. With Kyle, there is a collaboration that helps clients see their potential and works to support those goals. Kyle becomes the guide on your journey and ensures that you have tools to work smart and hard simultaneously. This was by far one of the best decisions I made 3 years ago. I am lucky to have him as my training coach and friend. The journey is met over and I look forward to see what I can accomplish.

Where do I begin?! Hands down Kyle saved my life!! I found him through a google search and my life hasn't been the same ever since! Before Kyle, I was watching youtube fitness gurus and guessing at what proper form was. I reached out to him to learn good form and when we went over my goals, I told him I wanted to be "skinny." He told me he didn't do "skinny" that he was more of a strength and overall personal betterment type of trainer. At first I didn't like that idea because I was worried we didn't have the same vision. Kyle not only taught me proper form, but how to approach fitness mentally. I was always so scared to lift weights. I didn't want to look bulky and I didn't want to hurt myself. He showed me that through BOTH weight lifting and cardio, I could achieve EVEN BETTER than what I had originally wanted. I have never been as fit and toned as I am now. I'm no longer afraid of the weight room in the gym. I pretty much live there. And I am chasing after the heavier weights! I am going to miss Kyle so much! There were plenty of therapy sessions during breaks. He's a great trainer, he really makes you #1 during training and helps you to understand how fitness ties into the rest of your life. I am a better mom and most important, I am a better version of myself not only physically (down 23lbs and toned af) but mentally as well. Thank you Kyle! You and your family deserve the world!!!!
