Honestly, seeing the comments, back in 2002 I trained at the L.A. Boxing Gym, and I know for a fact they really make champions there. I trained back then alongside Leo Santa Cruz he was just a kid my age, we were both about 16—training with a coach nicknamed Yuka, a great trainer. They definitely build champions there.

And just to add, they prepared me for the Central American Games where I represented Belize. I did really well in that event thanks to the L.A. Boxing Gym’s training. Now I’m in Cancun, and we have our own boxing gym here. I’m planning to visit L.A. Boxing Gym this December to see what kind of partnerships we can explore, because they truly make champions.

less than average gym. not big enough for the number of people. basically a cardio class. Not for serious fighters.

This gym is a complete joke. Classes are unorganized, and it feels like no one here actually cares about the members. For $250 a month, right next to skid row, you’d expect at least basic amenities, but there are no lockers, no structure in the boxing classes, and no sense of professionalism.

They also can’t even be bothered to update their hours on the website or Google, especially during holidays.

To make things worse, the business owner makes inappropriate comments, creating an uncomfortable environment.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

LA Boxing is pretty phenomenal. Most places only focus on giving you a workout. But LA boxing also teaches you how to fight. I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned in 4 short months. Shout out to coach Lee and the Muay Thai trainers for getting me straight.

Best Boxing Gym in all LA. The same Coach and trainers that train the world champions and pros train the kids and every one else . The staff is also great and always helpful. If you want to learn how to Box this is the perfect place no matter what age.

This gym is a total waste of money and most of all time. Not a real boxing gym, more like a fitness or they're focused on emptying your pockets rather than teaching you correct form. Once they pull the money from your account they disappear!!!! FRAUDSTERS!!!!!!

Great gym and amazing workout! Also it’s great to break out from the ordinary gym routine and keep it interesting with a boxing or Muay Thai session, I feel sharper after a session
