Really bad costumer service. I was trying out this location because it’s near my house. He gave me and my sister a hard time for using the guest pass which was good for 3 days. I was thinking of signing up for an international plan but not anymore. Do you treat all Muslim guests this way or is this the behavior you treat everyone in general? Maybe it’s because I wear the hijab. This was a really bad experience for me.

The staff did not greet us when we first came in. I set up 3 day passes to try the gym. The guy at his desk called over my husband and said we don’t do free passes. We only got 1 because no LA fitness is worth a $20 day pass and after this I’ll never step foot in these gyms again. Not to mention it was nasty and not clean.

Then I got to meet with Aaron who helped be so a nutrition plan and BMI information. He gave me a personal training session that was better than I could’ve done on my own. The LA Fitness on Santa Ana Canyon Road in Yorba Linda stands out as a solid fitness home among other gym locations. Unlike other LA Fitness facilities I've visited in Orange County, this particular location maintains an exceptionally clean environment throughout. From the locker rooms to the cardio area, every corner of this gym reflects a commitment to cleanliness that truly enhances the workout experience.

What really sets this location apart is the staff. The gym attendants here aren't just present—they're genuinely friendly and attentive. Whether one needs assistance with equipment or has questions about membership, they consistently provide helpful service with a smile. This kind of personalized attention is refreshing compared to the sometimes impersonal atmosphere at other fitness chains.

Perhaps the most pleasant surprise about this location is that it never feels overcrowded, even during what should be peak hours. I can always find an open machine or bench without having to wait, which makes my workouts more efficient and enjoyable. The spacious layout contributes to this uncrowded feel, allowing everyone to exercise comfortably without feeling cramped.

While no gym is perfect (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), and contrary to the above I think they could do a better job at keeping the sauna clean, this LA Fitness location has become one of my favorites for consistent, quality workouts in a well-maintained environment. If you're in the Yorba Linda area and looking for a reliable fitness center with a friendly atmosphere, the Santa Ana Canyon Road location is definitely worth checking out.

We were visiting family here for spring break. The general manager Jose was very helpful in securing us some guest passes so we could use the facilities during our stay. The gym is mostly ok. Some of the staff is pretty clueless and rude (I came to check the place out after closer one closed, they asked me to scan in and immediately unfroze and charged me for a full month and said they couldn't undo it - scummy).

Machines are fine, but fewer than UFC and Golds I considered. Bonus is racquetball courts, although they were empty. Basketball court is not good. Ceilings are low on one side and even lower on the other (too low for me to shoot a 3 without hitting air ducts or beams), and walls essentially mark sidelines, so don't expect to chase a ball without taking chances if playing chicken with an immovable object. Locker room was about 7/10 clean both times I was there

So I wanted to cancel my membership after not using it for almost a year. All I wanted was to get a refund for an annual fee I had just been charged for $50.

They gave me some run around saying they were unable to refund me. This was for the next year of “maintenance fees”. I had already cancelled and was not going to be going for the next year.

I believe I deserve a full refund of this $50. The manager was aloof and really short with me. Very upset with LA Fitness and how they rip people off.

I've been in OC this past week visiting a friend and was SO THANKFUL to have found this spot. The service was exceptionally friendly, especially Jose who set my sister and I both up with guest passes. I saw another reviewer say it: Jose is the man! The gym also felt highly queer and trans friendly and I was comfortably able to workout without issue as a trans person.

The machines are extremely varied for a relatively small location and there were enough barbells I never found myself waiting for one. There are also several different kinds of rooms for people who prefer working out in quieter spaces.

And a smoothie bar?? C'mon!

Lately after trying other gyms in the neighborhood I decided to try LA Fitness located at Anaheim Hills with the expectation of experiencing the high standards that the brand is known for. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of the LA Fitness reputation for excellence = seriously fell off all standards of Customer Experience from all perspectives.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service provided by LA Fitness, specifically at the Anaheim Hills location, and the unsatisfactory assistance I received from staff members Chris and José. As a prominent figure in Silicon Valley and a resident of Orange County, my schedule demands efficiency, which led me to choose LA Fitness for its purported convenience, particularly the ability to book Racquet Ball courts in advance through the mobile application.

Regrettably, the membership sold to me did not include the promised court booking feature in the mobile app, a critical component for my busy schedule and the group of over 40 professionals I lead for company worldwide, I have many of my friends, co-workers and family members in a group of professionals aiming to play several sports including Racquetball at LA Fitness, I encouraged many of them to leave their gyms and come over to LA Fitness but I changed my mind by two staff at LA Fitness Chris and Jose. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue, including reinstalling the app and contacting customer support, the problem persists. It's worth noting that both my iPhone and system are consistently updated, eliminating the possibility of a technical glitch on my end.

Over a period of two months, I have been provided with assurances that the issue was being addressed, only to be met with inaction and ultimately, a refusal to refund or upgrade my account. This lack of resolution not only inconveniences me but also reflects poorly on LA Fitness's purported commitment to customer satisfaction. The suggestion to cancel my membership without a refund is not only unacceptable but also dismissive of my concerns and needs. Best solution is to refund partial or full of 18 months with such high inconvenience and then redo my account again ensuring the court-booking feature is working seamlessly, not like so carelessly handled by the staff at LA Fitness Anaheim Hills and their CS reps who don't understand it's a glitch in the system for my specific account, not the app, nor my phone.

The failure to provide a solution not only undermines the value proposition of LA Fitness for me but also for the network of individuals I influence, many of whom are considering joining based on my recommendation. It is imperative that this matter be promptly addressed, either by ensuring the court booking feature is functional on my current account or by providing a full refund to rectify this situation.

The resolution of this issue is crucial to my continued patronage and advocacy for LA Fitness. I anticipate your immediate attention to this matter and a satisfactory resolution that upholds the standards of customer service and integrity that LA Fitness claims to embody.

If you are new and don't know your way around, Jose is the man and he's excellent in customer service. The gym itself was great and there are plenty of machines and equipment to get a great session in for all muscle groups. I'd give it an A. The only con was a personal thing and thats no elastic bands for stretching but not everyones going to care about that. I'm absolutely disappointed in this location's only ability to reach the pool area is through the lockers.  I am a father to a young girl learning how to swim and the fact that your staff is rude in forcing me to take her through the men's locker is irresponsible in her development.  She does not need to see naked adult men.

There has always been rear outside entrance to the facility that was recently locked for "unknown circumstances" (per the front desk kid with his air buds in half listening).  This needs to be rectified immediately.

8/18/22 Update: I walked into the gym with a pack of wipes to find the gym was stocked with paper towels. Nice. I just wish it didn't require work much effort to ensure the gym had adequate cleaning supplies. Upgraded from1 star to 3 Star.

This gym refuses to keep paper towels and disentfecant stocked. They have been completely out of paper towels for over 2 weeks. I called the corporate office a month ago to complain, and the temporarily remedied the issue. According the gym staff, the corporate office has decided to cut cleaning supply budgets, and now the gym is no longer stocked with paper towels and disentfecant. Anaheim Hills has a large population of retirees. Many of these senior residents use this gym because Medicare pays for their memberships. This gym's greedy corporate decisions are putting our at risk community members at a very significant health risks considering we are experiencing two global pandemics (C19, Monkeypox).

Compared to the LA Fitness in Northridge, this LA fitness is showing it’s age. While there’s a nice juice bar inside, there’s no dispenser for refillable water bottles. Instead, you have to try to fit your bottle under the water fountain which spills everywhere. Northridge location also had huge fans on the ceiling for great circulation, this location doesn’t have that and it feels stale in comparison. Gym is really showing it’s age without renovations made for this age.

I’m in the military and I’m stationed overseas, so I can only come home for a little at a time. I called asking if there was anything they could do for me for the week I was home and the manager Andrew hooked me up with a complimentary week pass! The dumbbells are usually re-racked in the right places, occasionally put in the wrong places. Numerous treadmills, 3 bench presses. Know that when I write this I am a long time member of 20+ years and understand that LA fitness is “itching to open”, per their corporate and that they have to follow the protocols set forth by the governor. However, what is disappointing is that many other gyms have moved their equipment outside to accommodate their members(who are also itching to get back to working out), and corporate has indicated that they have no plans to move any of their equipment outside at all but share our frustration. Many of the members of this gym are very loyal and have made fitness a life style.
I also know that in order to do so it is a long process, however the mall that this gym is in has allowed restaurants to set up in the parking lot. I know that not all parking lot or owners would allow all la fitness gyms to do that, but I do not believe that none of their property owners would allow it, when golds, fanatics, and 24 hour fitness have found ways for some of their

Post Covid-19 shut down and reopened for only a few days they had no one on the floor cleaning. Cleaning products for members to clean the equipment was sparse and spread out. Very poor showing. I have 4 memberships at this gym. My husband, myself and two daughters.Friday night 8pm. Nobody is there. Empty gym. Practicing volleyball on the basketball court and the MANAGER Terrance comes in to play basketball during his work shift and basically tells my daughter to stay off his side of the court. Keep in mind the three of us at $90 per month (CUSTOMERS) are told to stay out of the ON DUTY MANAGERS way while he shoots hoops during work. Unbelievable. I wonder how corporate would feel about that?

Been going here for 2+ years. All the equipment is old; I would like nicer equipment for the prices, location, and how busy it keeps. There are a good amount of classes if that is what you're looking for. I do not attend any, otherwise I would give a higher rating. Because the membership count is obviously adequate I think more money should be spent on upkeep and replacement of equipment.
