BH doesn't OFFER many the amenities that a SIGNATURE CLUB claim to provide. Unlike other SIGNATURE LA Fitness, BH has limited number a machines, no basketball court, or larger spaces. SIGNATURE LABEL becomes suspicious because they expect members to pay extra but you fail to provide a SIGNATURE CLUB quality. BH LA FIRNESS IS SMALLER then most facilities. So why charge SIGNATURE CLUB FEES but don't provide a higher quality gym? Many claim that the price surcharge is to KEEP the general or CERTAIN members OUT.

This place is pretty bad. They have a queue at every machine. There is probably 12 weighted machines in the whole place it’s so tiny and there are 4 dumb bell benches total. My apartment gym is better than this place 😂😂😂. Good thing I am closer to LACMA LA Fitness Location. Way better all around location

Fransico does such an amazing job. He always goes above and beyond to keep everything clean, organized, and running smoothly. You can tell he really takes pride in his work. The gym looks great every time I come in. On top of that, he’s incredibly kind. It’s refreshing to see someone who genuinely cares about both the facility and the people in it.

I had an horrific experience with the front desk people. Really no class and no training how to treat customers or potential members this employee Ariella was not welcoming or even helpful. She was passive agressive with no understanding of business or customer care. I will never go back or send my children or friends there I don’t t recommend this location. And the company should really trained better the front desk people.

Front desk staff made me run after some guy wearing his headphones and I did thinking it was something important. They were just harassing a new member for a photo and instead of grabbing the member themselves they turned the whole gym into a fruit market where we all were trying to chase after this one poor member who couldn’t hear us because of his headphones. Aren’t there more professional ways to handle situations like this that doesn’t disrupt the whole gym?

I usually work out at the culver city location and tried this for a week as i was closer to work. I went around 4 pm and found out this gym has a lot of creepy men. One of them looks like a temu version of vin diesel. He is bald, old and and is on the heavy side. He and his sidekicks occupy machines and dont let others work out. When i asked him if i could workout he said "I own this gym" and then started following me across the gym. He even asked my number and i denied politely. These creepy men are the reason why women stay away from gyms. This gym is unsafe for women.

I am disappointed with the service at the Beverly Hills LA Fitness. The employees spend most of their time on their phones instead of paying attention to members. On Saturday, after scanning my QR code, I forgot to bring water and returned to the front desk less than a minute later. The staff member asked me to scan my membership again, which felt unnecessary and frustrating. It is unprofessional that they are more focused on their phones than helping customers, making the experience unpleasant

LA Fitness Beverly Hills

I had an extremely negative experience with the management at this location. After being a regular member, I was unexpectedly told I was banned from the gym by a manager, with no clear explanation or evidence to justify the decision.

Adding to the seriousness of the situation, I left my iPhone in the men’s locker room and used Apple’s tracking system to follow it. For several days, the phone’s location remained inside the LA Fitness facility. After that, the tracking showed the phone moving across multiple locations far away from the gym. When I asked the manager about my missing phone, she denied having it and showed no concern about helping me recover it; instead, she focused on reinforcing my ban from the gym.

This combination of being banned without reason and receiving no support in recovering my stolen property has left me feeling mistreated, unsafe, and deeply disappointed in how this location is run. Members deserve fairness, professionalism, and accountability from management, none of which I experienced during my time here.

Being that it is undeniably the most well-located gym in the area, I have really tried to like this LA Fitness location to no avail. After a little over 8 months of membership, I am considering canceling given the new Gold's Gym opening at Beverly Center.

While the facilities are adequate - there is a decent range of strength training equipment including machines, cables, and squat/bench press racks - the size and state of the gym are hard to look past even at only $50/month.

Simply put, this has become the hangout for teenagers in the neighborhood. The gym is inundated every afternoon/evening with 20+ kids below eighteen with little to no gym etiquette, which is extremely frustrating as they hog machinery, don't re-rack their weights, and stand around socializing and taking up space in an already cramped facility. It's great to see the youth appreciating the value of fitness, but I did not sign up to join a high school workout club.

Combined with a space that nearly always smells of feet and sweat, subpar bathrooms, and an overall dated space and it is hard to feel incentivized to go every day. It seems as if a lack of alternative options in the area has incentivized this location to not care about upholding itself to the highest standards, which is unfortunate.

The women’s locker room stays looking great thank to Marirza! She keeps the locker room absolutely spotless! She goes above and beyond every single day to make sure everything is clean, organized, and up to the highest standards. Marirza is not only hardworking but also incredibly kind. Her presence truly makes a difference. Thanks to her, I always feel comfortable and at ease in the locker room. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you, Marirza!

First time here and thought because it was in Beverly Hills it would be 5 star. Sorely disappointed! Walked in the door and it smelled nasty, stinky gym. I didn’t want to touch anything. This is a smaller LA Fitness location, with limited cardio machines. Treadmills are always fully occupied ~90% of the time. There's always obnoxious people yapping on the phone during their workouts (a concept that is very baffling to me).

The underground parking structure is always packed, has some kind of unfinished construction happening, is dark/creepy and the parking spaces are super tight. Everyone with a giant Range Rover parks in the "compact" spaces, making it extremely difficult for others to park.

This is the third LA Fitness location I've tried out. Likely going to cancel my membership.

Here’s a concise review based on the details you provided:

I recently visited this gym and was pretty disappointed with the experience. The bathrooms smelled like sewers, which made it unpleasant to even step inside. On top of that, one of the smaller machines I wanted to use was broken, limiting my workout options. Overall, it’s hard to recommend this place until they address these issues—cleanliness and maintenance need some serious attention for a west side LA location

The times I have gone to this gym, it is clean and quite spacious. I tend to rate gyms by the ameneties they offer. Locker rooms are upstairs and have the basic equipment to get you going. Park in the parking lot right next to the gym, and remember to validate!

Amenities:
❌️Punching Bags
❌️Jacuzzi
❌️Pool

✅️Sauna in Mens Locker room
✅️Spacious Aerobic Room

The reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because it also has towels, hair conditioner, hand lotion, and a blow dryer for those who need it.

In this case "Signature Club" means it stands out for the lack of care corporate devotes to it. Like many have noted there’s no reason this gym should be a signature club. Makes no sense. The main best thing about this location is the Yoga teacher Emanuela. She is so engaging & committed to her class & students. Wether it’s Hatha or Vinyasa she always delivers. If you know you know. I’ve grown so much in my practice with her. I highly recommend her & have heard from many that she is the sole reason they are members of the gym. LA Fitness is very lucky to have her. She is tops! 100%!!!

I am a regular here and Kimberly was SUCH A RUDE PERSON!!!! My Daughter and I always go here and work out and we have memberships, but Kimberly accused us of not having one and kicked us out of the gym. She was extremely rude and walked into the changing room herself to tell us we couldnt be here. Kimberly made my experience here absolutely terrible and I will be revoking my membership with this location and I will never be coming back. If you ever see Kimberly at this gym, TURN AROUND AND LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to feel comfortable in my own body but she made me feel insecure about my body by not letting me use the elevator. I have low Iron which makes my balance low and I cannot walk down stairs. She also continued to body shame me and my daughter as we were leaving. I want to say thank you to Emanuela Selva! She is the best teacher of Yoga and mat Pilates.

I’ve been doing yoga with Emanuela almost a year. I attend all classes with her, it’s a three times per week. And I want more!! Let me tell you why. I noticed that since I’ve been doing yoga regularly I have more energy, found my mind-body connection and feel more focused and present in my daily life.

Emanuela is a high-end professional! She knows exactly what she is doing and as a student I can feel it. The energy is always amazing, appropriate music that helps to relax or wake up. Sometimes she adds a new techniques and it helps me to grow.

I want more classes with Emanuela in LA Fitness Beverly Hills because then I will go 5 or 6 times for my yoga and this experience will definitely make my life even better!!!

I definitely recommend YOU to go for yoga classes with Emanuela! I started as a beginner and now I am addicted with yoga. So, if I can do it you can do it too :)

Emanuela Selva’s yoga classes are amazing. I started taking her classes 6 months ago, 2 to 3 times a week. I remember my first class feeling totally out of alignment, not in flow and an amateur at pretty much all the poses. I hadn’t taken yoga since the pandemic and wanted to get back into it. I was lucky to have found her classes at LA Fitness. She synchronizes breath and movement seamlessly. Between her Hatha and Vinyasa flow classes, she puts together a perfect choreography of movements. Each class is unique to its goal, and she curates the best music that plays to your movement and flow. She is a yoga teacher that clearly loves what she does, and it shows in her energy and how she conducts her class. It’s a perfect symphony. Six months later I can do poses I never thought were possible, I have more mobility and flexibility. And most importantly, I can connect and go within in a flow state guided by her verbal, visual cues and the music. It’s become such an important part of my weekly routine. It’s a gift and I highly recommend her classes.

The biggest problem is carelessness regarding health. Most pads on equipment are cracked, exposing foam filler that can harbor bacteria and foster staff infections. Locker rooms are poorly maintained and often filthy. I don't blame the janitorial staff for that individually; they seem to work hard, but there's too much for such a small team to stay on top of. This is a location that charges extra for such amenities as soap and towels, but soap is often missing from showers. When questioned about this recently, a staff member whined that people steal the soap and management won't provide replacements. Great. So maybe I should withhold my payment and still expect to use the gym? As noted elsewhere, the selection of equipment is poor. For instance, there are only two stations to do curls on a machine, and for more than a week one was unusable because the staff wouldn't replace a $1.50 clip. When a rowing machine stopped working, staff took months to address the problem at all, then falsely claimed it was repaired. A week later, a panel for readouts on the machine -- resistance level, rowing speed, etc -- fell off. Actually, it looked like an angry customer might have snapped it off. It took staff weeks to fix that.

I’ve been to probably 8 or 9 LA fitnesses throughout Los Angeles, this one ranks maybe 2nd or 3rd on my list. Overall, I’m satisfied but here is nothing signature about this gym. They should take it out of the name… the only thing signature about it, is the area around the gym.

I’m going to this location only for yoga classes with Emanuela Selva . I have absolutely phenomenal experience in her classes. Emanuela is an exceptional yoga instructor who possesses a remarkable combination of knowledge, skill, and passion for yoga.
Throughout the classes, Emanuela expertly crafted a serene and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that every one felt comfortable and supported in their practice.
She has an impressive understanding of various yoga styles, and their ability to seamlessly integrate different techniques into each class is truly commendable. Whether it was Vinyasa, Hatha, or Yin yoga, every session felt unique and challenging, leaving me energized and rejuvenated afterwards.
She provides clear and concise instructions, ensuring that all participants maintained proper form and posture throughout the practice. Her attention to detail and individual corrections were instrumental in helping me deepen my yoga practice and prevent any potential injuries.

Furthermore, Emanuela has an innate ability to create a harmonious balance between physicality and spirituality in her classes. Her soothing music selection, and thought-provoking mindfulness exercises allowed me to connect with my body, mind, and breath on a much deeper level. It truly is a holistic experience that went beyond the physical aspect of yoga.
Not only is Emanuela an extraordinary yoga instructor, but she is also a warm and compassionate individual who genuinely cares about their students' well-being.
She has an incredible ability to inspire and guide me through the beautiful journey of yoga. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Emanuela Selva will undoubtedly enhance your practice and help you achieve your fitness and wellness goals.

The only problem, we don’t have much yoga classes with her, and class is always full of people. If only management would add more yoga or Pilates classes with such an instructor- it would be awesome!

The prices are reasonable, but they need to hire an operations manager. Many of their machines are either broken or produce ear-splitting noises. Despite providing the machine numbers or seeing "under repair" signs, the machines never seem to get fixed. Their cleaning crew are active and have a friendly front desk team. However the essential which is the machines are not well maintain or even repair hence 2 stars.

So we’ve been members of LA Fitness for a very long time now and yesterday was our first time at this location. Well we saw it was a signature series and thought this will be great. Well let us tell you this is by far the dirtiest, and worse LA Fitness that we’ve ever been to. You walk in and this place is so small. Okay great they offer you a towel. Who cares about a towel. This is supposed to be a signature series gym this was not. Weights were all over the place. On the floor, on the equipment. The seat was broke on the rowing machine, the Boz back by the cable had a hole in the lid. Around the walls you can see discoloration from the dirt. My wife went into the women’s restroom and it was filthy like a rest stop restroom. When I went into take a shower there was a towel on the floor covered in dirt just sitting there. The basket for the used towels was overflowing and the guy cleaning the floor was just using a wet mob. No bucket to ring the mop out . So basically just moving the dirt around. And if you saw this dirty towel that was in the floor you would see what I mean. What a let down and disappointment from this gym. With all the amazing gyms to go
To in the area we were surprised that this had as many people working out here. Go
Somewhere else you will be happy you did

I don’t know how else to say this but this location is a joke. The parking is confusing and creepy, they should add signs. It’s so small, there isn’t enough equipment or space. Everyone is so close to each other and I don’t know why but the moment I walked in the location it felt so moist (in the bathrooms felt worse). The worse part was blood on the on the 2nd floor and people walked by it like it was normal. Will definitely not return to this location.

Stay away from LA Fitness

This is the WORST place. People working there are scam artist they only care about scamming you to pay for training, they lie about the length of the class and the trainers there are not qualified trainers at all. I purchased a year package of 2/week training. They sell you an hour training and then it ended up 25 minutes. When I demanded refund after I found out. They said they expect person to do cardio for 30 min prior to session on their own and since I signed the contract for a year I have to pay for the whole year and don’t have any right to cancel!!!

I ended up loosing $9000 at that gym and couldn't even use the sessions I have purchased because they didn't have a trainer who knows how to work with injuries.

And I am single mom with 2 kids with no help. This is a fortune for me. I only got it to try to get back on my feet so I can manage.

In the last year I have been dealing trying to recover some cost (unsuccessfully) they had 5 managers fired or quit. And a lot more trainers left.

I wasted hours on the calls with no success.
They have only 2 trainer who are non qualified at all. Have no training and hate their jobs.

If I would have followed trainers instructions I would have ended up at the hospital with emergency surgery.

I don’t post negative reviews. But they are dangerous

Stay away if you care about your health.

Made the switch to this gym after several years at going to much more expensive gym in the area. Could not justify the cost of paying for that gym when i was only going into Beverly Hills twice a week. This gym is not signature, very limited equipment here compared to the 2 LA fitness gyms in my neighborhood. Just because you are in Beverly Hills does not make your location signature. Locker rooms are clean, but the front staff is not very friendly and don't seem like they do very much throughout the day. There are also a lot of younger teens in the afternoon, so avoid that time of day if you dont want to be reminded of your high school years. Wish there were more gym options in the area but can no longer justify paying $200 a month for the more pricier option in the area.

I'll be fair. This gym is quite clean and well-maintained, and in a nice location. However, the selection of equipment is pretty terrible if you are serious about lifting. There is ONE barbell bench press. Just one. Two squats which is...okay, and two Smith Machines. This gym has no: cable row, decline barbell bench, 45° leg press, or standing calf raise machine. There are no plate-loaded pressing (unless you count the dip machine) or rowing machines. Legitimately the least-equipped commercial gym (other than Planet Fitness, of course) I have ever been to.

The gym is also very crowded during peak hours, which is to be expected, but the limited equipment selection means you're almost always waiting for something.

I would say that this gym is fine if you're on vacation, or if you live very close and it's convenient. Otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

BEWARE: the gym is overrun with groups of high schoolers around 5:00pm. The boys run around in packs shouting obscenities at each other, taking their shirts off and throwing weights on the ground. Management should be more aware.

Overall, the facility is nice. Open space where you see everyone as they work out. Sometimes have to wait for machines to open up. Bathrooms are upstairs unfortunately.

I have visited all of the LA fitnesses in the West Hollywood area and this one is by far my favorite. I found that despite that it is a smaller location there are less people. I also love that parking is a breeze with full validation and I love that I can get my car detailed while working out.
I take advantage of personal training and Tony is great! I like that there is a private personal training area, it makes the work out experience feel more safe and exclusive.

I highly suggest joining this club and signing up for a personal training package. I priced out some private and luxury gyms and was shocked by the price. I decided to pay less for the membership and invest in personal training to keep me accountable and motivated. I am really happy and down 5 pounds!

I like this gym , The only thing it’s so annoying and my suggestion for management is you have to built a restroom on the first floor and also just simple water fountain. Every time we need to go up and down five times during work out and that is very annoying. Other than that it’s pretty decent gym for the money that you pay.

I’ve been going to this gym for 10 years, I just called to talk about my renewal and to come in.

It’s my first time back since covid. I basically paid for half a year and never came in due to covid and not wanting to workout in a mask.

The lady who answered the phone, Deanna was the worst. Before I called her, I accidentally called the miracle mile gym who were so much better than this lady at my home gym. The miracle mile team was positive, encouraging, a welcome back attitude but it was the wrong gym. It’s too far for me to go too.

Deanna, who was negative, wouldn’t let me come in until I renewed and when I shared the miracle mile teams pleasant response, she had disregard, didn’t care and hung up the phone. I went from being motivated to getting back into the gym to being frustrated by this terrible person’s attitude and lack of customer service.

Update, I just found out Deanna is the general manager and that’s how she talks to the clientele. Wow. Terrible. I’m reporting her to corporate. The way she treats people, she is in the wrong field.

Still the worst LA fitness in the area, I have been going hear for years as part of the signature member and today they wanted to charge me for towels.

They have this massive leak that’s been here for days with their “towels” they are running short on and wanted to charge me for.

this is a pretty nice gym where you can work out and be left alone. it is empty most of the time. the employees arent the best.
i went in for a complimentary consultation where they talk to u for 30 minutes and try to set you up with a personal trainer. the man who was evaluating me asked me great questions and i gave answers. i had shared that i got lipo years ago and while i felt i looked way better, i obviously still felt awful, and that feeling better physically was the most important thing for me.

so after he shows me a few exercises, he brings out the pricing. not only was the person shadowing him chuckling while i was doing my stretches (i just started so i dont have the best form or balance), i just didnt feel comfortable with the employee himself during training. he wasnt a creep, but i just felt rushed and like he didnt want to be there, which made me not want to follow through with a $3-800 a month personal trainer. when i said i couldnt afford it, he said “but you said you got botox before”. pocket watching someone is not a really a great sales tactic.

i will definitely continue to come here and work out as often as possible on my own and find a personal trainer that i feel comfortable with, but i wouldnt waste my time with LA fitness trainers. really uncomfortable experience

I have to echo the various notes below including the remarkable rudeness of the manager and front desk staff. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that management has no interest in the health and welfare of its customers. None of us are happy wearing masks in a gym but like any local ordinance - such as fire prevention and safety issues - it is not up to a merchant to opt in or out. LA Fitness Beverly Hills very apparently does not enforce the mask (or vaccination) mandate. On any given day the majority of members are not wearing masks. Eat anywhere in LA and you have to wear a mask when walking around - and show proof of vaccination - but with LA Fitness Beverly Hills it is 2019. And when combined with zero social distancing efforts - and no capacity controls - then it is likely a very good place to avoid.
