Of all the LA Fitness I go to this is the worst one. The machines are rusty and It smells bad. To top it off your not allowed to use the training area even when the gym is empty! My partner and I got kicked out of it. Funny how the pettiest gym is the worst. No wonder it's always slow here.

For whatever reason, and this might not be good, it is never crowded. They do not have the newest machines, the free weights area seems ok in that respect. The best part of the place is the spa and outdoor pool. The sauna is great and the whirlpool spacious with powerful jets. The pool is delightful but as of this writing it is closed for water contamination and has been so for several days. That’s why they have filters and chemicals for daily maintenance, I don’t understand why it takes so long to fix the water quality.

We signed up because the gym schedule posted at the front glass showed it opened till 10 Friday. A week later I rushed back 2 hour drive from work to hit the gym with my GF before 9, only to find out gym was closed UNANNOUNCED. The sales manager never bothered bothered to tell us. Meanwhile the schedule posted said they opened till 10 pm. We included a photo of that posting here.

Weeks later Saturday Jan 28, 2017 we tried to catch a quick workout at 7:15pm. It was closed again. This time they completely removed the posted schedule. A girl answered the door and told us they got into trouble posting the right schedule, even if was temporary.

Then today we found out LA Fitness charged my me $200 sign up fee when the manager told us clearly that he will only charge me $100. This got to be too much to stomach, adding insult to injury.

It seems LA fitness stuck us three times in a month each time in their favor.

We are going to Planet Fitness open 24 hours and only $20/mo and no signup fees. No more dealing with scumbags.

This LA fitness could use some upgrades I understand that they took over Bally's but I feel like it's just not up to par to the LA fitness name if you visit the one in diamond bar the one in Whittier La Habra the one in West Covina, they are so different and then you come here and it's just as if it's the evil step child. I think the machines need to be upgraded the bathrooms need to be cleaner and the pool and the hot tub look dirty I personally go here because it's a convenience and it's near my job but on my days off I visit the other ones above I think maybe it's more because of the demographic in the area it is a lot of older people that go there so maybe they feel that there's no need to upgrade. I think the name LA fitness should feel ashamed for the way that this location looks when they're putting in money to upgrade or build new ones!

this is probably the worst LA fitness i've ever been to. there is no basketball court, no *real* pool, and the equipment are old (e.g., the treadmills do not have tv screens like the ones at other LA fitness locations). in general, it just seems poorly maintained. also, the treadmills face west, and there are no shades on the windows, so if you're there in the afternoon, the sun will be in your face. the manager is not friendly (the girls at the front desk are usually nice).

if you can go to another LA fitness in the area, i'd suggest you go there (i.e. diamond bar, la habra). this one was an old bally's, so it doesn't have all the amenities you would expect from a real LA fitness--i.e. no basketball court, raquetball, very small pool) and the manager here is a punk. i'm accustomed to just giving my phone number when checking in at other LA fitnesses. this is because i don't normally carry my entire key ring anymore when going to the gym (i have a remote ignition key for my car and just take the fob) well this guy, he says "you can't do that unless you bring an ID since we don't know if it's you." but my picture is in the club computer...i guess we all look alike.
