Management at this location are both liars and bullies. They straight up forced me to pay them 10 dollars to enter their gym after already granting me access. I was shocked by this sleazy and appalling behavior from two managers at once.. one of whom had already authorized my entry. I’m beginning to completely hate LA Fitness and their scandalous ways + amenities that constantly break and take up to a year to fix.. or in La Verne’s case they never fix them at all. Slimy people.. I have been visiting the gym for 4 years and the attention and the environment are pleasant and friendly. A week ago I forgot my things in a locker, I called and they were kind enough to keep them for a week and I recovered my belongings intact. Be careful I got robbed at this gym. They broke into my locker even thought I had a lock. They stole $300 cash I had in my wallet and extra pair of headphones. Don't leave anything of value in the lockers. Don't use a dial combination lock, lesson learned.

Been a member at this gym for many years. I have seen this gym gradually decay. Take pride in your gym and remodel it start with the bathroom, the men's bathroom is falling apart shower heads broken broken tile . Outdated machines etc please I hope there's a plan for remodeling so embracing to be in Diamond Bar and have this type of gym for its members. Take pride and remodeled it.

This rating is specifically for the pool. Worst pool of any la fitness anywhere! Pool is insane 84 degrees which is hotter by a couple degrees versus Yorba Linda or other facilities. Refusal of management to reduce pool temp. Also most crowded and unruly pool of any I have seen. Not a pool to go if you are looking to swim laps. Complete and utter disregard of the people in the pool for basic rules. They will jump in your lane even if you are splitting the lane and just swim toward you without even asking. Worst pool ever. Complaints do nothing to rectify situation here.

Some guy hit me in the face in the pool and I almost blacked out. The guy looked at me and said your big so you can take it. I told the front desk to have manager call me and she never did. I had to follow up multiple times and finally she called. I asked she do something about how chaotic it is and asked her to call me back for a solution. She never did. So if you like being assaulted while trying to workout and not have anyone at this gym do anything feel free to come to this gym.

Came on a Friday at 4.30pm to ask for a tour of their kids club and pool. Kids club was locked and dark as nobody was there. Sales guy tried to unlock it but couldn’t figure it out, so he called a girl who seemed to be in charge of the kids club as she knew the code and rules. This girl was just sitting around in the receptionist area when I arrived and told the front desk that I‘d like a tour of the kids club. When she was trying to unlock the door, she looked at me then immediately covered the lock with her hands so I couldn’t see the code to the lock. Are you serious? After we got inside, I took a look around and before I started asking questions, she abruptly said that they had a 2hrs max for kids club. Well, thanks and no thanks. I don’t want my kids to be watched by someone who‘s clearly unhappy about her job.

I'd watch your belongings carefully in the locker rooms because some women steal shampoo which is just pathetic. The class selection isn't the best, some people get very touchy about the steam sauna, the smoothie bar is pointless, and the pool is normally stocked full of screaming kids and this place just takes much too LONG to fix the steam room which seems to break every few months and it takes them months to fix the thing and they don't do any reimbursements or anything and there is a shower that has been broken since 2021 at least and it is NEVER fixed. The water in the jaccuzi looks like scummy algae water it has this fogginess to it and dead skin floating in it and is disgusting. They also go completely insane when they collect fees like no need to call me three times in a row dude I will pay. Jesus I like money too but their salespeople are too much and some of the staff at the front are the type of people who talk crap about you once you leave and have a mean girls attitude. I have worked with people like that before and I don't appreciate it being at a place where I go to unwind.

Edit: And can you all stop firing or moving the few nice employees? Albert M. was really friendly and I had been told he no longer works at LA Fitness because "the company made changes"...this is the second time I met a nice employee here who was likely fired. LA Fitness, why?!

Not trying to sound rude, but this gym just isn’t it. Pretty much everyone here acts like they own the place, and most people are just on their phones—barely working out, just doing a set between scrolling. It’s hot, stuffy, and the ventilation is terrible. The treadmills are so beat up that the whole gym hears you when you run. I live in Diamond Bar, only a couple miles away, but I’d rather drive to La Verne for a way better setup.

I love coming to LA Fitness in Diamond Bar! The staff always greets me warmly with a smile when I enter and leave, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. The air quality is great—no overwhelming sweat smells, which makes workouts much more pleasant. I especially enjoy the yoga classes with Russell and the Zumba classes with Katie; they are both fantastic instructors who keep the sessions engaging and fun. Highly recommend this location!

This is the best LA Fitness I've been too. Equipment works and the facility is well kept. They have a Sauna and Steam room and they both work unlike a lot of other LAF I've been too. Apparently this LAF also has towel service which I've not seen at any others.

I went to LA Fitness in Diamond Bar and had the absolute worst experience with the front desk staff. When I walked in, there was this woman at the desk who barely looked up from her phone when I approached. I asked her about a trial membership, and she just rolled her eyes like I was asking for some impossible favor. She sighed really loudly and gave me this condescending tone, like I was bothering her just by trying to get some information.

When I asked a simple question about gym hours, she barely responded—just a grunt and a vague wave of her hand. It was honestly as if she couldn’t care less. I even tried to clarify something, and she cut me off mid-sentence, saying “I already told you,” like I was being annoying for asking.

I get that sometimes people have off days, but this was just straight-up rude and unprofessional. She didn’t even try to help me sign up or explain anything—I was left standing there feeling completely ignored. It’s like I wasn’t even a customer. I left the gym feeling frustrated and unwelcome, and I won’t be coming back as long as that attitude is still there. Just terrible service.

Earlier today, I walked into this location. There were two young ladies at the front desk.
I approached them and asked “is there anyone in sales that could help me?”.
One of them replied “there’s someone but is talking to someone else”, (the attitude was conspicuous).
I replied, “that’s fine, Can I check out the gym while he’s talking to the other customer and come back in a few minutes to see if he’s free?”
The girl who I was having the conversation with gave me the nastiest look and replied “you can just wait”, (once again she had an attitude).
It was obvious she did not liked me asking if I could go around and check out the facility.
I thanked her for her time and walked out.
I drove to 24hrs Fitness and asked for someone in sales, we had a short conversation about pricing and different membership plans.
I just swiped my debit card for $280 at 24hrs as I’m writing this post.
I purchased an entire year of access to all 24hrs Fitness and I can bring two people with me for $280, I could have purchased a membership at LA Fitness however the “customer service” approach in this facility was not the best.

The swimming pool is the most dirtiest. It’s always crowded and the water is seldomly changed. People go into the pool without washing themselves before entering. Chlorine is super strong. The floor is slippery and have a lot of trash. A lot of kids are allowed in the pool and taken all the lanes. It is always occupied by kids and private swimming lessons. Parents bring their kids in and use the swimming pool like their private pool. Kids are rude. The management is all about making profit. The pool was already taken by aquatic and are also selling the pool for private swimming practice. There is no way anyone can swim laps. The ladies restroom has no paper towels to use. You can’t wipes hands after washing. You should reconsider before joining this location.

The short, dyed-haired Asian woman who handles cancellations at the counter is extremely rude. I didn't use the facility and went to cancel on the fee billing date, but she didn't cancel. In the first place, the policy of allowing someone other than yourself to sign up, but requiring you to cancel, is so ridiculous that it's laughable. Do you want to go that far and extort other people’s money? Sure enough, the reviews are also terrible. Been working out here for 3 years. New night time management and janitorial started a couple weeks ago, and he closed steam room 30 minutes early. As of last week, an hour early (10 pm). Yesterday, he shut off steam room at 9:30 pm. I am low maintenance, but I simply want access to all the facilities during the late hours I can exercise.

People were frustrated in the locker room, but janitorial does not speak English or cares at all. I will be encouraging everyone impacted in the evening block to provide reviews on Google, Yelp, and corporate until management fixes the issue.

This management does not care about the cleanliness of the facility nor the health effects that it has. The urinals aren't flushing properly. The steam room always smells like urine. Some members urinate in there and the gym management does not do anything about it. The steamers shouldn't be located in the locker rooms. The Jacuzzi water looks like it has never been changed and is very dirty. The bathroom areas are outdated and need to be renovated along with the amenities. There is trash all over the parking areas and the security level is zero because cars are getting broken into constantly. The lockers are no longer safe because the locks keep on getting cut and the contents get stolen.
The facility manager, Siri treats her staff very badly while she sits behind her desk and does absolutely nothing to improve any of this, even though these issues have been brought up to her by multiple members. She does not care about the facility that she manages and she makes that very clear. She does not attempt to retain any members, which is very damaging to the membership level of this already run-down gym. If I was the owner or an investor in this gym. Siri would be my last choice of the type of manager that I would employ.

So I’ve been a member here for years and have never seen it get to this point. The cables keep breaking on the cable machine, so the repair tech finally got fed up and locked the cables in place so you can’t switch the bars around. A most unhygienic place. I get here at 5AM when it opens and the cleaner, a lone individual, does not begin her shift until later in the morning. It's illogical to have cleaners clean the place after it opens rather than when it closes--an indicator of bad management decision-making. There are many sweat stains on most of the machine weights, especially where the head makes contact, and dust clusters on the ground. The towelettes in the dispenser are often dried out, so one has to pull out many towelettes only to discard the first one because it is dried out. I now bring my own anti-bacterial wipes. Of the 3 gyms in the DB area (am a member to Crunch, Planet Fitness, and LA Fitness), the last is, quite honestly, quite disgusting. In a world where we have just overcome a pandemic, the uncleanliness of the place is really unfortunate and, in the final instance, probably conducive to disease transmission. I don't even bother using the restroom, preferring to get home to use mine instead.

I can’t compare this facility with others. All I can say is that management is not very strict in letting boys above age 4 to go into the women’s bathroom. Somebody stole my expensive Samsung S22 ultra cell phone today, I called 911 and had an case number, but unbelievable their security camera can't be checked because their operation manager was not there and would only be done next week, 3 months ago, my shoes was stolen when I were taking a shower, I met many ppl who told me their things were stolen, even the desk clerk agreed with this, what a terrible place, they have the worst security protection. The STEAM ROOM is frequently not working! We pay for these services and amenities to be available; maybe the corporate office needs to hear from members :( Once again the steam room is down, again...12/30/21

HOW CAN THE CORPORATE OFFICE ELIMINATE THE STEAM ROOM? WE signed up to pay for our membership based on these specific amenities. Now they want to reduce costs and eliminate the reasons we signed up for the membership with LA FITNESS. Is this just another way to reduce costs for investors and squeeze out the CONSUMER? Call the IRVINE office and let them know, we all deserve the amenities we signed up for and pay for...this corporation is not respecting the contract we all signed. Call Irvine and let them know this is not acceptable. -b/c if you don't, the corporation will simply keep cutting costs and services until there is no CONSUMER left to take advantage of.

This is a great location … it lacks one thing though … a sauna that is less smelly that does not have a sewage smell … the coeds sauna should be removed and turn the steamrooms into a dry sauna in the women’s and men’s….

It's a gym, there a pool, there's a sauna, and unisex jacuzzi and steam room. A+ for cleanness.
