WTH is wrong with all these new cable machines?! They suck! They’re only a couple months old and get caught, it’s not a smooth lift. Mind muscle connection gets interrupted.
While I’m at it… only 1 abduction machine?! That’s crazy! It’s one of theeeee most popular machines. And only one row machine! Another popular machine and it’s not a smooth lift, cable is getting caught! Soooo annoyed!

Pilates isn’t done and the upstairs is still unfinished. You Waited to remodel until EOS posed threat, then you do the remodel & reopen, and stop Completing the remodel. No commitment to your faithful members. I’m so annoyed.

This club insisted I come in person to finish my contract. My contract is paid in full. They want me to come in when we are in the computer age only to upsell me.Its 103 today with bad air quality btw and the club is not even in the town I live in.

I had surgery and missed one month of training sessions. They said I cannot redeem those lost and paid for sessions but I can sign a new contract and pay $55 per session for all my already paid for sessions I missed bc of surgery.

Are you kidding me? Double bill me for services I’ve already paid for. This feels like deceptive billing. Next step is BBB. Then consumer protection bureau and or legal representation.

Unbelievable in this day and age where companies are investing in how to retain customers and clients that the ppl at L.A. Fitness are incredibly rude and unprofessional.

It’s not that hard to be pleasant, honest, and ethical when communicating with your clients. Oh wait……I guess this is just another sad example of how corporate America is making life miserable for ppl.

Been frequenting this LA Fitness for a couple years. The remodel looks nice, honeslty enjoy the new car smell but feels less usable as far as diversity of equipment. They replaced most if not all the fulcrum style machines that use plates in favor of machines that use cables and pulleys, that I find somewhat awkward and restrictive to use. Added a ton of squat racks, which is super cool, but at the expense of the basketball court. All in all, real nice gym, but remodel seems to have taken it farther from my personal fitness needs and preferences.

The remodeling just completed 6/13/25 is very nice with much more open space as you enter. I left a year ago and joined EOS which is an over crowded gym. I just returned to LA Fitness and the vibe is so much better with brand new equipment, flooring and interior makeover. They removed the basketball court and filled it with new equipment. Plenty of space to workout and it’s not crowded every time I go in.

I got a membership here because their sauna runs hotter than most other places. But what I really got was spending $20 more per month for a decrepit, poorly managed, outdated facility. Everything from the lockers that are falling apart to the aging machines make this gym inferior to the surrounding gyms in just about every way. It smells musty and has grime in the sauna, floors, pool, lockers, windows, machines, and showers. It's more than 5 times higher than the baseline membership at EOS and Planet Fitness. It's $20 more than the highest EOS membership (which includes towel service). It's not surprising that they charge you first and last month membership plus a $99 initiation to lock you in before you realize how poor of an investment it is. I very much regret the money I spent on this place.

the real heroes at this location are the janitorial staff . they do their absolute best to keep the facilities clean as possible . they’re also the only ones who work there that have actual customer service skills despite having a language barrier . god forbid u ask a desk employee for anything . they look at u like u ur an alien . can’t wait for eos to open . maybe their restrooms will be an improvement over this location basically having coachella level campground restroom facilities .

For a month now, the air conditioning in the group classroom has not been working. With triple-digit temperatures in Lake Elsinore, this creates a dangerous environment for the members. Heat stroke is a very real concern!

Adding to the issue, there aren’t even adequate fans provided for cooling. There is only a single standing fan in the corner, which is grossly insufficient for such a large room. This is completely unacceptable and puts members' health at serious risk.

LA Fitness, this isn't about cutting costs—it's about safety. You are potentially one heat stroke away from a major liability. Think of the consequences!

Chase the manager needs better customer service, period!! I signed up for the 3 day pass thinking i could go inn and get a feel of things; i was in a rush i walked in gave Chase my pass and was quickly told the pass needed to be activated; I would have to wait for a sales rep and he didnt know exactly how long it would take . I emailed in for a cancellation, within hours they cancelled it and sent proof, and were transparent about last day of access etc! Very professional for a community for professionals and making Lake Elsinore great again. No I’m not a trump fan. LOL

I did about fell outta my chair. I braced myself for another sheet-show to cancel, as it was last time. Which was actually traumatic, and not worth just glossing over right now, again traumatic.

Hopefully a valuable lesson has been learned from that.

I upped the 1 star to 3, consistent yoga when you can. 🤞🏼

I signed up for a personal trainer. Jordan, their staff, told me I could change my mind and cancel 10 days before autopay triggered. I did just that 10 days before because of my upcoming surgery. Alas, what Jordan told me was different from what is in their contract. They refused, even after talking with Chase, their manager, who pretended not to have been briefed about it but simply told me I had signed a contract lasting 6 months at $165 per month and was bound by it. Period. Why would Jordan tell me differently? "A bait and switch situation where false information was given by staff and an agreement was signed under false pretenses" (Meta AI educated me on with this🥰). When I asked for Jordan to explain, I was told he was no longer at their gym and had moved to a different one, as if they could not reach him even at that gym to redeem himself and as if I believed them. They flat out refused to cancel. So they will be receiving my hard earned money for free for 5 more months as if that money is not needed while recovering from surgery. No income will be coming in as I will not be working while on sick off! Caution....do not sign up for a personal trainer if you are invited based only on what the staff tell you. They will bait and switch🙄!

I went in there in hope of getting my membership restarted. They told me when I told them to stop taking payments I could start up at any time. I was there 3/20/24 and spoke to Chase who said that is not the case. I have to start a whole new contract. So I told Chase I don’t have time to work the details out of a contract today. Can you allow me to work out and next time I come in we will go over the options. Chase said no I cannot allow you to work out today - I said what about the free passes all over town? He said those are for new customers only, a complete contradiction to what he said moments ago when he stated that I would have to do a whole new contract as I was now a new customer. I’m really disappointed because I was going to sign my whole family back up again and now this kind of negative customer service has made me think maybe I just need to wait for the new place to open up or go to Planet Fitness.

I am homeless and live in my vehicle. I try to find places to Sleep around the city and this happens to be one of them. I have never had any issues with this place allowing me to be safe in their parking lot and able to get a good night's rest. I never leave trash nor do I try to make it look trashy. I have even cleaned up a corner where the wind blows most of the loose trash just out of appreciation. I also do not take advantage and over-welcome my stays and move everyday to a different spot. The reason for this review is that I wanted to point out that I really appreciate businesses that open their parking lots for people having a hard time in this world of uncertainty. To have a safe place to get a good night's rest is a blessing and I'm more appreciative than they might even know. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you to the property owner and patrons. 5 star rating for generosity 🌟

One of the best gyms in the L. Elsinore area. Jordan was super helpful in getting me accommodated with the gym (machines, training schedules, etc.) The environment is very comfortable, very little crowding and plenty of identical machines reducing the wait for a machine. I just signed up again to LA Fitness after 4 years. I started going to the Mission Viejo LA Fitness (closer to work)and everything there is so clean and TVs on all cardio machines. I signed up here and as far as the gym goes it’s just okay, but there is not a lot of options in this area. Since it is the closest to where I am staying so I go there. What really bothered me is they called me multiple times to set up a training consultation and when I finally scheduled one and drove 30 minutes down the mountain to make it to the appointment, the guy was meeting with someone else. Really frustrating. And there response was, “well we can reschedule you.” Umm no thank you, I’ll go somewhere else for training advice.

Jim is the best gym I have been two in years! Super clean and the staff takes care of our almost anything I can think of. Worked with some of the personal training staff here and they are amazing as far as patients but also the knowledge and science they teach you behind some of this stuff. There is no mobile service at this location.

And there has been no Wifi for a few months now, yet for some reason the location has placed an "order" to bring Wifi back with no results for over a month.

The sauna seems to not work, it is just slightly above room temperature.

It seems to me like the staff doesn't really care about the experience here. And it is the reason why I'm switching to a different gym franchise.

They can work on maintenance. Many machines are down too often, floor in sauna is cracked, sauna benches need an upgrade. I've been to better gyms, but this one is local so it is what it is. The layout is not the best and it needs better music and someone who actually wants to improve the gym. On the other hand, I love the kids club! The girls are always very welcoming and take good care of my kids. I highly believe management needs to create a team to improve and really make an effort to get the gym a more inviting vibe. Slight diming of the lights...maybe some separating walls and great music could help. I used to work at a gym and the crowds came in when there was a very good class every other day. The trainers were also very active in the gym talking to people and I have yet to see that here. Hopefully some adjustments can be made.

Came in on a free pass after doing the same at the Corona location on Compton. What a difference. Thus location is sooooo much cleaner then the Corona location on Compton. This will definitely be my home gym.
This location has everything I need and more. The only reason I did not give them five stars was because the front desk had no idea what to do with my free pass. Each day I showed up they didn’t know what to do and had to get a manger.

I’ve been going to this gym for 2 years now bc I live nearby. The facility itself is nice and clean, and they have pretty much everything you would want. However, I dont like the price we pay each month. Me and my husband go regularly and we pay $60/mo. It’s $30/person. This is more than any other gym in surrounding areas/cities. But we can’t even bring guests?? Come on. And there’s not really a family discount since we both go and pay full membership prices. El gym se hace bien pero lo único que no me gusta para nada es el personal que se encarga de ver los niños la muchacha que está por la mañana si me gusta pero las que están por las tardes no por que me trataron mal a mis niños mi niña dise que la regañaban feo a ella y a mi niño también siempre que veníamos a casa La Niña me desia que no quería ir más Hal gym por las mujeres esas la regañaban feo por y siempre que yo los dejaba en el club kids ella no quería estar se hay pero yo no entendía por que asta que un día le pregunté a La Niña y me dijo todo eso por eso les recomiendo llevar los niños por las mañanas aunque yo ya no llevaré los míos por eso voy de 5 Asta las 6

I have never felt so unwelcome in a gym, the employees were rude and unfriendly. The gyms equipment was dirty, if I asked a employee a question like where the bathroom was I had a rude snooty response, like I was bothering their conversation. I’ve been to many gyms and never have I felt so uncomfortable, people should feel welcomed and feel comfortable to ask questions when this gym was far from that. I don’t recommend this gym for anyone. This gym doesn’t even deserve a one star, they deserve no star and no business until they get better employees. They just sit on there butts, talking barely noticing people walk in.
