I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the amazing experience I've had at this LA Fitness location. I've been to many gyms, and this one truly stands out.
I can't say enough about Janet, my workout instructor. She is, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. I go to both of her classes because she is absolutely fantastic. Her routines are so well-designed that they work for all ages and fitness levels, and I always leave her class sweaty but happy. She is a major reason why I love LA Fitness.
The front desk staff is also wonderful. They always greet me with a smile and are incredibly helpful, providing the best customer service. It makes a big difference.
I also want to recognize the manager. She is so friendly and kind. It's clear she leads a great team.
Finally, the personal trainers at this location are exceptional. I've seen the incredible transformations they've helped people achieve.
Overall, I am so happy with this gym. It truly meets all my needs, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to work out.

Gym hasn’t had a single update in the 12 years Ive been going here, restrooms are absolutely disgusting 24/7 and have rust all over the stalls. Needs a serious make over for the price they charge compared to surrounding gyms. Also since Covid they have possibly the worst hours of any gym I’ve ever been to. As a major company LA fitness needs to do better, employees are good tho but gym itself needs a lot of love. Go to EOS for the same price

I literally burn my legs and back as soon as I sit down. I love sitting in the sauna but in this one I came out feeling sick and lightheaded, again probably due to high temp. I tried again a few days later and same thing. Besides that it’s a decent gym.

The placement of the machines are good, some are broken though. There are foul odors everywhere you turn from pool water to musty sweat. My nose hurts after working out here. No sanitizing and paper towel areas for once you’re done with the machines. Not so crowded which is a plus and the staff is excellent.

While at an Office Depot taking care of paperwork for my husband I was approved by 2 recruiters from this location. I was at a copy machine while my kids sat in a chair near by. The girls asked if we would be interested in obtaining a membership for their gym. I denied and continued on my business. The girls then tried to get my oldest attention when I immediately cut her off and said she was good no need to talk to my minor child. The girls got very offended turned around and as they had their backs towards me one of them loudly said “ewww, rude much!!” As they was too I’ll assume scared to turn back around and look me in my face I replied back with “you have some nerve telling me ewww as you’re going store to store scavenging for customers. Get real!” Evee, you need a new career girl. No need to get nasty with people whom don’t want you talking to their minors.

Great gym, great faculty! Would rate a 5 star. However, I was surprised to find out they don't have hip thrust machines. They do have smith machines to perform the hip thrust exercise, but it's not the same. For the price of the membership, I would think a machine that is high in demand would be available. I know of smaller gyms with half the price of membership compared to LA Fitness that carry them. A lot of women(and some men) would appreciate a couple of hip thrust machines. To whom it may concern, please consider. This is not a complaint, just an observation. Aside from that, I'm happy with the gym! Like if you agree!

This place is a joke. Let me preface by stating that I have been coming to this gym (off and on) for the last 10 years. And it was great a long time ago, but they must have fallen on some hard times. Men’s sauna has been closed for “service” twice in the last 3 weeks. Equipment is constantly broken for weeks at a time. They’ve removed a bunch of paper towel dispensers from the men’s locker and restroom, constantly missing sanitary equipment to wipe down the machines.

Staff is nice enough. The personal trainers are very friendly and don’t push too hard to sell their services.

But the lack of urgency to repair their services and machines as of late has been frustrating enough that I’m switching to 24 hour fitness down the road, and I would urge others to stay away as well.

I enjoy the gym layout and workout equipment. I like the cardiovascular equipment, treadmill, stationary bikes, and all other accessories. The heavy weights or free weights for upper and lower body strength with specific lateral up right pulls, bicep, triceps lateral, and shoulder.

2 stars for nice facility. However if you get training make sure you can accommodate their schedule because they will not accommodate your schedule even though they're charging a minimum of 100 dollars per hour. After much frustration we gave up on trying to get our last training sessions. (We're out at least 400 dollars). Upon trying to cancel our membership after life got busy for us We're informed we have to cancel in person with a manager. 2 months later were out another 100 dollars. Everything is good now except for more than 500 dollars we will never get back.

2/22/24 the male staff are so unprofessional it feels so sad seeing how careless the staff is they were eating on the front counter when I walked in and the female staff were “on stand bye” ready for an argument when I asked for the restroom and they miss heard me for something else but back to the male staff they only answer with a question “what” “what you need” “okay?” the weight maintenance is so unorganized there’s weights in the basketball court and in the cycle room and oil stains on all the leather seats on the machines it went from a 7/10 gym to a 2/10 within a year only good think left are the accommodation “pool” “sauna” “courts” “ high weights” but feels like a closing down mall

I went online and found the 3 day pass to try out the gym. When I arrived I meet with a guy at the counter who asked if I received a QR code and I checked my text and email and found no QR code. Another guy came from the back and asked me what I was doing there and was rude after waiting for approximately 20 min. I had some people warn me about their service here and now I can see with my own 2 eyes that they were telling me the truth about how badly managed this location is. I do not recommend

I walked in to get a tour of the place before signing up. I checked the local gyms, as well as PF and 24Hr, and this was the most complete service out there. The trainers are really down to earth people that you can talk to without getting some unnecessary quip back at you. They have a heated pool that feels great to go a few laps in after a good workout, they have tona of activites to keep you moving, as well as regularly scheduled and fun activities if juat working out isn't enough. They even have me since free training sessions, which other gyms don't usually do. I'm absolutely glad I joined this gym. The best part is that no creepy guys have hit on me in the jacuzzi or the sauna, that's always a plus.

Tired old gym. 20 + years old and needs some TLC. Mostly always clean. Hours are terrible.Since the pandemic... Closes at 5 pm Sat and Sun. Ridiculous. Closes at 10 pm Mon thru Thurs and closes at 9 pm on Fridays. And they are not budging. Staff is friendly. Although they come and go quickly. Poorly management. Really poor management.
Men's sauna has been out of commission for months and they are just leaving it that way. Pool is crumbling and the ceiling is falling in. Not for new members. So many better and less expensive choices. I only keep this membership because it's not crowded bc no one new is joining. It's a hard sell, but I've had it for a very long time. It's close to my house. Look for the whole chain to be out of business soon. And this location to close first. Doesn't seem like they are even trying.

Became a member and paid an initiation fee along with 2 months of membership fees and in 3 weeks they nailed me for an annual fee. When I asked, they said that in the contract it states that after two weeks I would have to pay an annual fee. An annual fee after I have only been a member for a little over three weeks. I gave them almost $200 to become a member and they want to squeeze me for another $50. Very sneaky and very unethical even if it's hidden in the fine print. An annual fee is for when you choose to stay a member and after a year of being one, you get charged that fee every year(annual). Bad move LAFitness

· Not a great first impression: No-one was staffed at front desk when I arrived. After waiting 5+ minutes, attempted to approach an LA a fitness trainer to inquire about the desk staff. She was in the middle of a session with a client & wasn't certain who was supposed to be staffing the front desk or when. After waiting a few more minutes, I opted to just proceed to the floor to start my workout.

Worst pool ever. It's like swimming in milk because the water is always so cloudy. The pool is also randomly closed all the time. The 24 hour fitness near the 10/210 freeway is such a better pool. Very clean and clear.

Lack of hygiene
They will lie to you to get you to sign up that day , beware !
Most of the workers and members are really nice but this company and some staff ruin it . I really regret ever coming here and urge everyone looking here to be careful
