Pretty good gym, but it does tend to get really crowded. I’m knocking off two stars because 1. They really need another kickboxing class (or offer a class at the other Temecula/murrieta/Menifee gyms), because the class gets super packed and there tends to be older women who enjoy chatting more than working out, and 2. Not sure what’s up with the water temperature in the women’s showers?? It goes from hot to cold, and I usually have to put it almost all the way on cold to make sure the water doesn’t get unbearably hot. It’s really annoying that none of the six showers stay at the temp you put it at. The ones in murrieta and Menifee don’t have this problem so not sure what’s up with that. Other than that, it’s a decent gym that, with a few upgrades, could do much better.

LA Fitness is one of the best gyms you can choose to go to, not only that they have huge variety of equipment, they also have the pools, saunas, jacuzzi, children’s care, beautiful locker rooms, clean bathrooms and vending machines full of unique healthy snacks and energy drinks, electrolytes and protein; the employees are also very welcoming, professional and caring.

They offer plenty of cardio and weightlifting machines, as well as if you’re looking for a personal trainer - they have great options + if you workout with the trainer, you’ll be in a special room designed for PT sessions as well!

Now they’re offering Pilates classes and those are amazing, on top of many other group class activities.

They have a sanitizing machine to clean the machines before you use them to be sure that everything is clean, they also have a water fountain - LA Fitness is a great choice.

And you’ll get motivated by going there too because many hard working people workout there! 🙂👍🏼

More often than desired, I come into the gym at 5am to find much of the equipment in the “field area” untracked. It often looks as if no one reorganized the equipment at the end of the day. So why do I spend 15-30 minutes of my energy and highly anticipated workout time searching the gym trying to find equipment to do a workout when I pay a membership fee expecting equipment to be where it belongs, so I can make the most of my limited time at this gym?
Why aren’t the managers for the evening shift doing their job?? Do I need to go elsewhere?

The cleanest LA Fitness I know of out of the three. Has a very clean pool with the most relaxing architecture and water, and is my main LA Fitness pool, and more. Never used the other equipment aside from the pool. Although the lack of saunas and a hot tub are bad for some people (someone I know commented on this being the reason they don’t use this location), the lack of hot tub does make the pool much cleaner. I love the modern architecture of this place and the pool having better quality water and being overall a relaxing area.

First and foremost, there is no sauna. However, the fact that there is a door separating the restroom from the locker room, it’s quite nice.

Overall, I will not be coming back, the end.

The only reason I would foresee someone coming to this location is out of convenience. I love LA Fitness, but this location is a no go for me.

Update 1/7/25. Over a year later still only 2 free weight squat racks. Worse, Members (I counter 3 not including me) waiting 30 to 45 minutes just to use one. We don't need 4 Smith machines most of the time they are not being used so just taking up vast amount of space. 2 Smith machines are enough. Apparently they only respond to 5 star Google reviews. They said they were bringing more in over a year ago almost 2 years ago still nothing.
12/23 clean except only 2 (free weight ) squat rack/dead lift platforms... realistically only 1. Often times members have to wait for others to finish. Far smaller gyms like fitness 19 actually have 5 free weight squat racks not including Smith machines. There are other glaring missteps makes the place inconvenient. Clearly the people who designed the layout either don't workout or never have. Their primary concern in the new design layout seems to be money not members satisfaction.

Great workout. Again! I've been coming here since this location on Temecula Parkway opened. Swimming is my baseline and the pool is great. Cleaner than nearby locations. I'm impressed how underutilized the overall facility is but, I've enjoyed that absence of crowds.

I did have a backpack stolen from the locker room. I was shocked because I had locked it away but more so because I had been impressed with how polite everyone had been. Management hardly gave me their time and attention.

I have used L.A. fitness consistently for over a decade. Many cities. I appreciate they committed to pools in all locations.

Been a member for about 6 months, my membership included bringing someone with me, which was my youngest daughter.I added on my oldest daughter to a membership, and got no discount and had to pay the fee to start an account. My daughters go to the gym together, and I asked if they could move the guest pass to my daughter's account. They told me they could not, I would have to start up another account and pay all the fees to do this. I already pay 15 dollars more an account they Eos, so I asked if they could help me with the extra cost, they said nope it corporate, we can't. I canceled the accounts and joined Eos and pay 30% of what I paid there and have all access to all Eos offers. I do not reccomend them to any one, they do not work with the clients and will make you re pay the membership fees.

I honestly use to love this gym until last Thursday. From the beginning I had a bad start from staff harassing me to sign up in person(I do sales and politely declined to sign up online.) Occasionally I like to workout in the fitness room but have been recently freaked out by the scary guy who does suspicious activity in the back (looks like a freak show) and they allow him. This past Thursday I was taking a selfie in the gym restroom photographed above and i was harassed yet once again by a Karen. The manager of operations, some little beta boy named Taylor let her throw a Karen fit and revoked my gym membership. Genuinely glad this happened so I could inform others! Don’t come here! Staff is very unprofessional.

This is an amazing gym but what really stood out was my experience with Jacqueline- she was polite incredibly knowledgeable and helped me tremendously with my limitations and anxiety about starting a new gym. This gym is totally fine. If you've been to any commercial 24 fitness, esporta, la fitness - it's exactly like that. A little crowded, could use more equipment, clean enough.

I've been coming here for 5 months now and they have 8 stations total for incline/decline/flat bench. And they consistently only have 5 barbells so other 3 stations sit empty. I don't understand how this oversight hasn't been fixed, especially for how busy it gets. I go late at night so they're generally open anyway, but it just truly shows how little they care.

The gym fraudulently charged my card for my 16 year old daughter to have personal training…which she never received. I did not consent for my card to be charged for my minor child to have personal training, and my daughter was never aware she ever signed up for it, and did not attend even one single session. Pebbles at the Temecula ESPORTA location told me to come in with my daughter’s driver’s license and she would refund all charges, however I then received a call from Rex later that day stating my daughter’s grandmother signed her up for personal training, so the charges are valid. The grandmother is not a legal guardian, and has no authorization to use my credit card. Furthermore, the grandmother told me she never signed anything or had any knowledge of personal training.

Again, this was completely unbeknownst to any of us and my daughter never attended one personal training session. It is bizarre how this was handled, and how I was told two different things in the same day, including the fabrication of the consent of the grandmother. Pebbles doesn’t have any logic or reasoning skills and talks in a condescending tone, with rude and abrupt interjections. If at all possible steer clear from her, at least until she removes the stick that is so deeply wedged. After going through this whole ordeal the last thing I needed was to be disrespected as if I did something wrong. However way you look at the situation, the charges are illegitimate and my daughter is a minor. If you want to have a positive gym experience free of complicated matters that won’t be resolved, go to another gym.

I like it, not the best gym ever but above average. I just wish the employees would be out on the floor a little more often, perhaps encouraging people to use lockers. The number of people bringing full sized duffle bags on to the gym floor has gotten completely out of hand. It crowds the space unnecessarily and supplies a huge liability risk for people carrying weights from rack to station. This has been a growing problem at every Esporta/LA Fitness over the past two years, but it gets exhausting when 80% of the people working out have a bag creating an obstacle course of trip hazards down every aisle.

Great gym! My wife and I have been members of this gym for a few years now. We have used gyms all over the world. We are currently members of Lifetime Fitness, Anytime Fitness and LA Fitness. If you're looking for a spa this is pretty close, but it doesn't have a sauna and it doesn't have a pool bar. It does have an excellent indoor pool and excellent equipment nicely spaced out. The gym is clean, well maintained and has enough equipment that I rarely find myself waiting or rerouting. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. We use this gym more than our other memberships because it is closer to our home, has more strength training equipment and we like the staff. Even the other members seem easy to interface with. Special shout out and kudos to Rex and Reno.

I like the low volume of people at this time , even at their busiest. The staff was very helpful and Rex made it easy for me to decide if this gym was for me. He was very informative and did not pressure me in anyway. The things I do not like are their sanitizing wipes. They don't work or wipe well. Spray bottles and paper towels are the way to go. Have gone to this gym for years, long before it became Esporta. Gym isn't half bad but when I had my wallet stolen from my locked locker I asked the workers if there was anything tat could be done. They shrugged it off and said "Oh that's to bad, sorry." Guessing $1400 is no big deal to these people. Not even to look into the cameras or give some kind of assistance or any concern to the matter. But hey who am I. So just know they have members going to the gyms and aloud to take your property and still workout beside you.

I decided to sign up for Esporta after having enough of the crowds at EOS. At first it was great, kind of dirty but I didn’t mind if it meant dealing with less people. It was pretty empty for the most part and the staff was somewhat nice (nicer than the staff at EOS) but I think everyone else got the same idea I did and began migrating over from EOS (in fact I began seeing people I would see at EOS over at Esporta). Now the place is getting more and more crowded every week. At this point I’ve given up on finding good gyms in Temecula. If anyone has the money, open a gym that doesn’t make you sign up for a stupid program that costs an arm and a leg (I’m talking about all the frickin CrossFit, P4L, etc. gyms around here), that’s big, has a member capacity, and makes it easy to cancel and you’ll be making loads of money. If I ever won the lottery I’d make a gym just like I described. Temecula is great and all but in terms of gym selections, it’s one of the worst cities I’ve ever been to. Calisthenics here I come.

I am a member of the Esporta Fitness located on Hwy 79 South in Temecula, California. I used to lap swim daily, but the swimming pool heater has been inoperative since the week of Thanksgiving 2021. I have talked to the Mgr., and Operations Mgr., countless times in inquiring when will the swimming pool heater be operational again. I only get excuse after excuse from the Temecula Mgrs. I have since made an effort to contact the Esporta Corporate Office in Irvine, Ca., but, they have yet to return my phone calls.
I hope, soon, to return to my daily lap swimming, but with the non action of the Temecula Mgrs., and the asleep at the wheel approach of Esporta's Corporate Office, I won't be holding my breath.
If I could give a ZERO rating, I would.

Bought a membership for me and my son online. When he went in to use it, they lied to him and told him his membership wasn't right so they signed him up for a new membership. Paid initiation, first month, fees, etc. for both.

His membership was just fine to start. They just saw an opportunity to confuse him and sell more units. Predatory, and staff obviously doesn't care about customers.

When I went in to question the "manager" and see if I could clean it up so I wouldn't be charged for 3 memberships, credit money I paid for original (which should have been just fine), and continue with 2 accounts as customers, I was told "my contract states that I must pay a $25 penalty if I cancel in the first 4 months." He said this with a straight face, blank stare, and did not care at all that they signed my son up for 2, or 3, or more memberships.

They will always make it difficult for you to cancel, they will charge you even after you cancel, and they will take advantage of your family if they see the chance to do it. It's obviously part of their corporate culture.

I went in about a month ago to sign up and was approached by the head sales manager who was super aggressive when speaking . I informed him about other deals in the area and and wanted to compare gym offers. After explaining some of the benefits that EOS fitness could provide me, he responded with “we don’t need your service here”. This is exactly what you don’t want as an employee or even worst a sales manager who influences and trains others. It’s to bad I had this experience because I thought the place was nice and close to my house however, I am paying for the customer service as well which is why I chose to go with EOS fitness. I don’t know his name but I just know he say he’s the general manager, and that he’s tall and always his baseball cap. If this is how their managers continually treat members and potential members, then I’m not gonna recommend any more people to come here, even though I enjoy coming here myself. Plus, they keep the training session area off for any members to utilIze during business hours, unlike their gyms off Winchester road and CAL OAKS. IF THIS IS HOW THEY OPERATE THAN I’M JUST GONNA SIGN UP ELSEWHERE, WHERE GYMS ACTUALLY RUN SMOOTHLY, AND WHERE THE PEOPLE PUT IN CHARGE ARE ADDRESSING ME IN AN UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE MANNER.

A very rare 1 star review for me but I was shocked at the horrible experience I had there. Not only have I been called over 20 times in the last six weeks from sales people, I specifically requested not to be called.

I was debating between EOS and LA fitness because LA fitness is much closer to my house.

I just had surgery and my doctor cleared me only for a stationary bike and 1 specific leg exercise, which I immediately informed the GM. I only wanted to know if they had that 1 machine.

He then started giving me incredibly dangerous recommendations for other exercises and I reminded him that my doctor gave me very specific limitations and I needed to be very careful.

I was seriously shocked how irresponsible and aggressive he continued to sell me a membership with almost completely ignoring my limitations.

I can't stress enough how dangerous his recommendations were. I won't go into specifics... this review is long enough. If I didn't have significant fitness experience and had listened to him, I could have had a serious injury.

I expected the "shmucky" overaggressive sales but never would I have imagined someone who jeopardize someone's health and well being to sell one lousy membership.

This is a great gym. It's extremely huge and they never really have a "rush hour." During the busier hours like 5PM or 10AM, it never feels crowded since the space in this gym is so spread out. Their machines are good too! They have a huge variety of different machines and a lot of cardio equipment so you won't have a hard time finding a spot.

A few things I wish they did have - A sauna, battle ropes, kettlebells and a deadlift platform. Otherwise, I love this place! Their staff is friendly too :)

I go to swim because it’s a good pool that is rarely too busy. 3 stars is because they pay too little attention to cleaning, lockers and showers often have a lot of debris. 3 sales people on shift today but no cleaner, priorities I guess.
