I’ve always been intimidated by gyms and am so glad I found LA Flex. In a couple months, I’ve already noticed a huge difference in my strength, form, and body comp. I’ve been going to small 3-4 person group sessions, which provides the perfect amount of personal attention and motivation from others. Today’s big group session was a blast.

What sets it apart is that Perseo pays attention to your needs and tailors the program to address injuries. I’ve been struggling with hip, knee, and cervical radiculopathy issues and have already seen improvements far beyond what I was getting with physical therapy. Plus the price is very reasonable.

During the Pandemic, my lifestyle had changed that I gained so much weight. I decided that I need to do something about, I am so glad I found Perseo. I started with a weekend class at the park, and ever since I am hooked. Being on my late forties I've become stronger and most fit as ever in my life. I know I can get results when I come to LA Flex. I began my workout with Perseo in 2019 before he had his studio. I looked and felt amazing. I hated going to the gym. I thought that it was just cardio and that lifting weights was going to make me look like a man. But once I met LA Flex training he made a 180 on my view towards exercise. I love lifting weights that help me be stronger every time and shape my body accordingly. Also knowing my body is becoming a better body with mobility and better eating habits. There is a science to all and he takes you and explains it all. I 10/10

I am incredibly thankful to have found LA Flex in October 2023.

My 37 year old bones were starting to feel 97 years old thanks to a sedentary lifestyle fueled by stress, long work days and unhealthy eating habits. Needless to say, I was desperate for a change but knew I had to be the one to take the first step and I found Perseo on Google.

I messaged him via Instagram and within a few minutes I had a consultation booked the next day, committed to working out with him the next week and then I signed up for my first month. 6 months later I am still working out at LA Flex twice a week and just today I hit a personal milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without Perseo’s coaching.

Perseo’s patience, understanding and flexibility have propelled my desire to make healthier choices each day.

Pros:
- ideal size classes for direct coaching on form and best practices
- Every member I have met is so kind
- Judgement free zone

- True personalized workouts to avoid injury
- Minimal cardio with a heavier focus on strength
- Perseo is genuinely a good dude who wants the best for his students. This is his passion and it shows

Cons:
- One might say that the price point is too high but I would challenge that point of view and invite anyone to look at the frivolous expenses incurred each month and there’s a high likelihood that one would find a nice little honey pot of empty calories that can be reinvested into a better you.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending LA Flex’s group fitness classes throughout the years. LA Flex is the gold standard of gyms. Perseo is extremely knowledgeable and prides himself on being attentive to detail with every exercise. He guides you and modifies exercises as needed to fit your level of fitness. Perseo focuses on your whole health which is something most personal trainers do not do. He does not sugarcoat anything and makes you take accountability for your progress which is something I personally love as intrinsic motivation does not come easy to me. He gives you suggestions on your diet and also has a pre and postnatal fitness certification. I can’t say enough positive things about LA Flex and I encourage everyone to try a group fitness class or a one on one session with Perseo.

This has been the best experience working out. I enjoyed the class. Paseo, the owner is excellent. He's very attentive very knowledgeable he give good recommendation due to the fact I have 2 bad knees he's really has helped me I have lost 12 lb I enjoy the class the group of people are encouraging supportive. It's a good class. Good music I recommend this to several people come on out. You'll have a good time and you will work up a sweat.

Let’s be honest working out is not for the weak. So in order to reach your fitness goals you’re going to NEED a coach like Perseo! He’s one of one. He offers a ton of advice and gives special attention to detail to all who walk through his gym. The gym is CLEAN and always feels like a welcoming space. He offers semi private training (which I love because it’s feels like a fitness fun Community) open on weekends too for a great morning workout burn! I’ve seen him train clients of all ages and fitness levels. Dedicate yourself and train with someone who’s just as passionate for you to reach your health and fitness goals. Coach Perseo, is not your average gym trainer. He definitely goes the extra step to create a workout routine that works best for you. Every person has a unique experience when you go to him as he accommodates your needs. Whether it be being flexible with your schedule or working with an injury. If you are a single parent or unable to find childcare he welcomes your child and if they are able to they can follow along with some of the work outs. I recommend everyone to give him a chance as he is invested into helping all of his clients. He is there to guide and aid on your wellness journey but you must put in all your effort too.

Perseo's passion for personal training, wellness, and fitness shines at LA Flex. I started with Perseo years ago, and he's by far the best personal trainer I've ever had. As the other reviews have stated, he is not your typical trainer. For the semi-private training sessions, he creates an innovative training program specifically for you weekly based on your goals, abilities, and body type. He will also adjust on the fly if you have issues the day of training, which is super helpful. Once you commit to changing your habits outside of the gym, you will see results in weeks.

I would suggest starting off with the group classes on the weekends. He does a different circuit every weekend, and it's always fresh! No burpees, no sit-ups, no excessive cardio, and he's intentional about working muscles that you probably won't work out on your own. If you're interested, I would suggest following his IG page (laflextraining) to get an idea of the workouts that you'll do.

I've yo-yo'd a lot of over the past few years due to personal reasons, but he always welcomes me back with encouragement and support. Lastly, a big bonus is that he has cultivated a great community of people that work out with him. In addition to getting a good sweat, you'll also meet likeminded, kind people. Wins all around.

Coach P is amazing! There’s times I definitely did not feel like coming to workout. Especially during this holiday season as I navigate major grief from the loss of a loved one and battling some depression around it. Coach Perseo is not your typical gym trainer. He definitely goes the extra step to create a workout routine that works for you. The gym and working out can be so intimidating!!! Especially for me, I have struggled with eating right, and exercise after having my daughter and making enough time for me. I avoided the gym, I didn’t want to feel overwhelmed with where to start and frustrated with what I couldn’t do. 2 years ago I decided I was ready to make some big changes in my health but I knew I needed extra support, knowledge and encouragement from someone else. I am so glad I found Parseo and LAFLEX. From day one, he has been nothing short of an amazing Personal Trainer. During my first session I could barely squat, do a push up, or balance myself doing hip openers. Parseo still gave me high fives, positive words and would modify exercises to meet me where I was at. He has given me awesome feedback and information on how to support my goals outside of our sessions including healthier food choices I can make. Two years later, I feel stronger, happier and healthier. He continues to push me and I am doing things I have not done in years. There are still many goals I want to reach, but I feel confident that with my work with Parseo I will not only meet them but surpass them. Thank you Parseo and LAFLEX!!!!!
