My child was injured during a session with the instructor actually laughing about it in my child’s face, and when I raised safety concerns, my enrolment was ultimately canceled without notice instead of being addressed. It was documented though. If advocating for safety and higher customer service care gets you dismissed, what does that say about their priorities?
Beyond that, signing up is a nightmare—expect to wait 10–15+ minutes just to reach someone. They’ll eagerly sell you private lessons but make redeeming them nearly impossible. The girls’ locker room often has bots over 6 years old with no one really endorsing this very basic privacy rule.
This place prioritizes sales over safety, quality and organization. Parents, think twice before enrolling.

We are still raving about this swim school nearly a decade since our first child did lessons here. Lessons as a toddler with the best created a foundation that is now muscle memory. We are so thankful for our time at La Petite Baleen!

The instructors are consistently good here. They challenge the kids. They use tactics that ultimately have helped my 9-year-old and 5-year-old improve and develop competence. Special shout out to Alex, Danica, and Chloe, who have helped my kids become swimmers!

This review is long overdue; my daughter has been attending since she was 3 and she’ll be 6 in a few months. Excellent training, very patient, friendly, and helpful staff. They worked one on one with her when she had fears until she overcame them. Her skills have improved massively, but they also want to ensure she’s confident and spend time working on that too. We’re very happy with them!
