Alex is an outstanding swim instructor. He has shown incredible patience and understanding with my 3-year-old, who has trouble with social cues and sitting still. Even when my son struggles to listen or gets distracted, Alex stays calm, caring, and attentive. He gently redirects him, always ensuring he is safe in the water while still making the lesson fun and engaging. His ability to balance structure with play has not only built my childβs confidence but also made swim class something he looks forward to every week. I highly recommend Alex to any parent looking for a safe, positive, and encouraging swim experience for their child.

NOT RECOMMENDMEN FOR KID. After 2 years, my daughter still at level 1 or 2. Each class is only 30 minutes long with one coach and four students, and they *always* change the coach every week.My daughter keeps repeating the same things over and over in every class. At most, she gets less than 10 minutes of actual instruction with the coach each time. They donβt seem to care whether your child is learning or not, because they constantly rotate coaches.Every time we arrive, my daughter asks me who her coach will be today, she doesnβt even know what class sheβs in because she never recognizes the coach. This is not the right place if you want your kids to learn how to swim properly.

Angelina G!!! The G stands for GOAT? Because she is the Greatest swim teacher Of All Time! (JK it stands for Gomez but she really IS amazing!)
I got my infant daughter enrolled in Baby and Me classes at La Petit Baleen cause it was free and I thought it would be fun. I decided to later become a paying customer because I had such a great experience. Angelina really understood my and my daughterβs comfort level.
We were open to try submersions since she was 2 months old and now my 6 month old daughter is super comfortable in the water and can float with her head supported!
Angelina genuinely cares for the babies and youβll see her interact excitedly with her students whenever she sees them (even if it is at the reception/lobby outside class).
The Baby and Me program itself is nice (and free till the baby turns 6 months!), the swimming pool is warm, the San Bruno location is convenient.
But honestly itβs the teacher that won me over. Highly recommended!

Our daughter has been attending since she was a few months old, and is now 5. She loves the teachers and the swimming, and it's actually learned a bunch of skills. Prices have been going up but I still highly recommend this swim school.

After 2 years this place has degraded 100% . The instructors are amateurs there is 0 learning experience. Also there are no managers . To ask about your kids progress or ask why the instructor spent 2 minutes on my kid during our 30 minute session, I had to fill out a form π . I canceled our membership today . Really disappointed from this establishment .

Cool place to teach kids how to swim. Interactive with parents for the little ones. when they are old enough parents can watch. They earn ribbons as they pass levels so it keeps the kids motivated. Instructors are nice and there is a good responsibility to keep the students safe and learning good habits while learning to swim.

I have all three of my grandkids taking swimming lessons. The only complaint I have is the infant class size . With 4-5 babies at the same time the instructor does individual time with each of them and this can take up to several minutes of the remaining half hour of the class standing around doing nothing. The instructor should encourage the parents who are waiting their turn to be working on something. Rather than just waiting around.

the people at the reception have no empathy. I changed my child to the men's bathroom because my husband was in charge of changing him first and I left his clothes there and I went in to change him at the time of departure, a woman from the reception arrived and told me there can't be even a woman in the men's bathroom You can leave the woman who is there and my son has not changed even in the first place they should have a family bathroom. Most of those who come there have 2 children or are unixes... I think they depend on the students and we depend on the teachers but They are a long way from understanding parents. What a horrible treatment they giveβ¦.

Started taking my daughter when she was 4 months old, she just turned 3 years old. I have loved seeing her learn to swim and enjoy being in the water. Due to covid the tuition has become pretty pricey but they give quality classes.

Great place for swimming lessons. Most teachers are well trained and great with kids. But it can be a bit pricey and trying to add a class for the first time maybe challenging due to limited space.

We love this swim school. We've been attending for 6 years. Teachers are great, small 30 minute classes, and they keep the kids motivated with stickers and ribbons. Our kids look forward to swim class every week. They taught my kids to swim, what more can I ask for?

My word, Rosio was over the line aggressive. I generously pay each month, knowing how inflated the price is, only for young daughter to be exiled and berated in front of her friends. I could hear Rosio's relentless bashing from the seating area. BE CAREFUL OF THE STAFF.

The teaching staff and front desk staff are great and very helpful, but the manager Amy is not. The class admin is a mess. They move you from class to class without even asking or calling to let you know they've switched you to a different time. They over book and then tell you your kid can't swim when you get there because the class is full. The manager herself moved us to a new class after they had overbooked a class one day, and when we got there the following we she told us we were not in that class! She said there was a mistake even though I had an email confirmation with the date and time! Then she moved us to a totally different day and time without even asking or calling me to tell me! No apology or anything. all while you're paying $25 for a 30min lesson in a packed pool! The only reason we stay is that there are no other swim lessons available and my daughter loves to swim. If you have any other option I'd say go for that instead.
