I attended Pilates this week for the first time ever, I was so nervous being as it was new & and unknown. I’m also the least flexible person ever! I honestly loved my first two classes. The instructor was amazing with guiding me and my friend into the positions/exercises, she encouraged and praised us which helped me get the most out of the class. I came away feeling sore and truly worked out but also relaxed from focusing my mind. Officially at regular at Lake Arrowhead Pilates & Wellness!

What could I NOT say about this wonderful place. A little slice of pilates heaven tucked away in the mountains! The studio space is perfect, with a room for private lessons in addition to the main studio with different reformers, chair, and cadillac equipment. Infared sauna is amazing too. LOVE Melissa the new owner, she is like your biggest cheerleader, and so kind and positive. Lauren the former owner also will still make an appearance - she is such a wonderful and kind teacher with so much pilates knowledge.

LOVE instructor Danielle (she rocks), Megan, Christina.... there are many more new teachers and teachers in training here, which is amazing. Love that you can either have a class, OR you can be working on your own individual movements despite being amongst a group. Instructors will go around and make a great job of checking on your form.

While I don't permanently live on the mountain, my family is from here and I have spent a month or two out there these past few years during the holiday season. I would so be a "regular" here if I lived here permanently, and always make a point to come in when I am visiting.

This studio holds such a special place in my heart, and I will always be grateful for the memories made here and the kind instructors.

Before my knee surgery approx. 6 years ago, I did Pilates. Returning to my Pilates routines, strengthen my muscles and joints which rebuilt my coordination and confidence! Thank you Lake Arrowhead Pilates.

I’ve been working out in Lauren’s studio for close to 4 years now. I am part of the LGBTQ community as are many other clients. There are also a number of racially diverse people in the studio and it’s is always an accepting and encouraging environment. The 1 star reviewer who called out racism should look inside and realize if you are unpleasant you will perceive the world as unpleasant in return. A person who is pleasant does not respond to a problem with hardcore profanity as she did. I hope anyone reading these reviews will ignore the 1 star review as it is certainly not reflective of the environment in the studio. Lastly I’ve worked out at many studios down in Los Angeles and this is by far the best studio I have worked out at.

I rarely leave reviews online because honestly they are a waste of my time, but I wanted to post a review here AS A NON-WHITE client of Lauren.
She is FANTASTIC, she never cared about me being married to another woman, she treats me with respect, she's knowledgeable about Pilates and has helped me tremendously in my recovery.

So for someone to come here and accuse of her of racism is just silly. This Kat person sounds like she's the miserable one that had to, of course, blame her dissatisfaction on racism. People like her give US non-white folks a bad name!

If you're looking for a truly friendly, fun workout, and a great way to start your day, I HIGHLY recommend Lake Arrowhead Pilates Center. Lauren and Melissa are great instructors and better humans!

Having been a long time client of this studio, over 23 years, I have never experienced anything but tremendous attention from Lauren and her instructors. Lauren is very kind, warm and professional. I am one of the original clients of Lauren's studio, and have been active there for all 23 years. I am seeing the review by Kat and am stymied. Lauren is the LAST person I would classify as "racist" or "miserable". She is accepting and open and extremely generous with her time and knowledge with ALL people. If you are looking for a great workout at any level in a beautiful place with expert instruction, look no further that the Lake Arrowhead Pilates Center.

To clarify the 1star review that was written: First pay attention to all the other excellent reviews. Second, I was the client in the studio at the time of the occurrence. . I was in a private session. Lauren is very professional and will not allow anyone in the studio during a private session. Yes, I listened to the profanity laced tirade by 1star reviewer and it was uncalled for. Lauren never raised her voice and calmly agreed to refund this client’s money. There are other BIPOC clients, as well as LGBT clients. Lauren is accepting of all. Love the workout, love the trainers. A 7 year client.

Lauren is sweet spirited and very knowledgeable, not only about the mechanics of Pilates, but of our bodies. I was told I was going to have rods put in my neck. I had to wear a huge brace. Lauren worked in conjunction with my physical therapist, and I have been pain free for 5 years! Lauren is a professional in every way.
