Love this place! I have been going to Lakeridge for close to 10 years now. It's always clean, the staff are excellent, and the members are great. I have made more than a couple lasting friendships from there.

I have been going to Lakeridge for close to 10 years. Lakeridge is such a great place, clean, welcoming, and full of energy. The best part is the people, especially Cherie. She’s always so kind and friendly, and really makes you feel at home every time you walk in.

Lakeridge is my family's home away from home.
We have 2 little ones at home and the childcare has given us our health back without the stress, financial strain, or guilt we would otherwise have to deal with.
It's a community and we are so grateful to the staff and their love for us.
We have only been members for a few years but can't wait to be in the 25 year club!

I’ve loved Lakeridge since the 1980s and have been coming on and off ever since, mainly for the pool, which is beautifully tree-lined (hence the name Lakeridge). My kids grew up there having summer fun! They loved the little pizzas.
It really does feel like you're relaxing at a lake. Over the years, I’ve seen many great enhancements, and the experience just keeps improving.
The only downside? On warm, sunny days, the pool can get a little too crowded, but that’s to be expected with such a popular spot.
Staff is first-class and always professional, friendly, and welcoming. Every visit is a pleasant one.

Great place for family and friends. Been member since starting of this year and enjoying every bit of it. Multiple classes like pilates, Zumba, Dances are included in membership.
Has huge swimming pools to accommodate adults and kids.

AVOID THIS PLACE – PREDATORY FEES & SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES
I regret ever signing up for a membership here. What started as a simple way to give my kids swim lessons turned into an expensive lesson in bad business ethics.
The biggest issue? They trap you in a contract and then hit you with an outrageous $500 termination fee when you need to leave—without a clear explanation.
I asked multiple times why the fee was so high, and the responses were vague, dismissive, and defensive. If a business can’t justify its own fees, that tells you everything you need to know.
Beyond the shady billing practices, the swim program itself is underwhelming and borderline unsafe. The instructors are mostly teenagers who seem more interested in chatting than actually watching the kids.
I never felt like my kids were getting the attention or instruction they deserved. For a much better experience, go to Canyon Swim down the road—they actually care about their students.
This place is a money grab, not a community-focused facility. If they put half as much effort into their programs as they do into squeezing money out of families, maybe they’d have a business worth supporting.
If you’re considering joining, think twice—or better yet, don’t. I wish I never had.

Great club. Only thing that I don't like. The extra court they have does not have good rules associated with its play/entry. Any person can just enter the court, and totally disrupt an ongoing game that another member has underway. That is ridiculous. Should be first come first serve.

Im paying 8x the price of a Planet Fitness membership to be a member here - so I expected adequate AC and ventilation when Im trying to use the already ancient treadmills. Instead, the treadmill area gets ridiculously hot. Really disappointed so far with the actual gym facilities, might give it another month but probably going to cancel soon. The outdoor courts are nice and the staff are nice too, but honestly thats it. The pools are filled with tons of kids all day because of a summer camp they run, the hot tub reeks of chlorine just walking by it (sign of chemical imbalance) and is always full anyway. I really just wanted a nice, usable gym and I find myself missing Planet Fitness. For paying $190 a month as a couple plus a $495 initiation fee I definitely expected more. Not trying to be rude - just my honest feelings.
Bottom line: If you charge people premium fees then you should be providing a premium product/service. Upgrade your ventilation, turn up the AC, upgrade your gym equipment, fix the hot tub chemicals. This all should be easily affordable since you are charging 8x what other standard gyms charge for membership.

Discover a tranquil oasis tucked away, ideal for your fitness journey. While the equipment may show signs of age, it remains fully functional, providing a satisfactory workout experience. This hidden gem is an excellent retreat for those seeking a summer escape, boasting a refreshing pool to beat the heat.
Embrace the gentle breeze that graces the atmosphere, offering a welcome respite from the summer sun. Despite the wind's presence, the facility maintains a serene ambiance, free from the hustle and bustle often associated with popular destinations.
One of the standout features of this establishment is its well-crafted childcare program, allowing parents to focus on their fitness regimen while their little ones are engaged in supervised activities. This thoughtful amenity adds an extra layer of convenience and peace of mind for members.
Whether you're seeking solace during your workout or relaxation by the poolside, this facility offers a serene environment conducive to both physical and mental well-being. Escape the crowds and discover the tranquility of this hidden fitness haven, where every visit promises a rejuvenating experience.

I came in for a tour after driving by this place for months now. I was greeted by very friendly staff and given a tour by the manager. He was thorough, answered all my questions, and was very kind.
Now, I wanted to love this place, but it's a hard one. The pool, sauna, and steam room was a pleasant surprise. I love the outdoor area and the views are incredible!
However, I was unimpressed (to say the least) with the equipment and the decor. They have a wide variety of equipment, but like the interior design was unpleasantly outdated. You can say that it's a gym, and as long as you can get a workout in, it shouldn't matter. But for the membership price, this place could do ALOT more and I really hope they do. I could see this being a great athletic club, especially since there aren't many in the area.
If or when they make the much needed upgrades, I'd gladly become a member.

Lakeridge does a good job of keeping activities scheduled nicely and maintains to the equipment and property very well. I like to do yoga during the week and bring the kids to play in the pool. This isn't a 24 hour meat market, this is a lot of career and retired people FYI.

(Lenny and Billy's) Lakeridge Athletic Judo Club is Awesome.
We Joined this club a couple years ago, and have loved everything it has to offer, Then we found out it had a JUDO Club for my little 7 year old Girl. She has been attending there program for 3.5 months now, and as of yesterday achieved her Yellow striped White belt.
"There's an amazing judo instructor who taught me all about judo, and I want to tell everyone how awesome they are! When I started judo, I was a little nervous, but the instructor made me feel super comfortable right away. They are really nice and always have a big smile on their face.
The instructor is really good at explaining everything in a way that even kids like me can understand. They use fun games and exercises to teach us different judo moves, and it's always so exciting to learn something new. They are patient and always make sure we feel safe and confident when practicing.
What I love most about this instructor is how much fun they make the classes. We play games, do partner drills, and even have little competitions. They also give us high-fives and pats on the head when we do a good job, and it makes me feel proud of myself.
They have a special way of making all of us feel important. Even though there are other kids in the class, the instructor always takes the time to help me individually. They show me how to do things step by step and cheer me on when I get it right.
I also like that our instructor teaches us about respect and being kind to each other. They remind us to help our training partners and to use our judo moves only for self-defense, never to hurt others. It makes me feel good to know that judo is not just about fighting, but also about being a good person.
I'm really lucky to have such an amazing judo instructor. They make every class so much fun, and I always leave excited for the next one. If you're a kid like me and want to learn judo, I promise you'll have a great time with These instructors. They're the best!"

The gym is great although I wish they had newer equipment & machine.
For example it will be marvelous if we had:
- [ ] “Barbell Pad” would be good to support shoulder
- [ ] “Ankle straps” for cable machines to do hip thrusts , glutes &etc..
- [ ] “Resistance bands”
- [ ] “Multi hip machines” would be great to have. So that people who wants to workout more on there hips or reduce hip dips
- [ ] “Hip trust machine” since those workouts are very popular. It would be really helpful to guide you with a machine.
- [ ] Last but not least to have another “smith machine” (is really great for beginners or people who doesn’t know how to use proper Barbell) because we only have one & add one bench to do different workouts.
Maybe have one of those empty rooms & add them would be wonderful because I feel as a women there’s a lot of manly workout machines (there’s to many arm, back workouts.) That’s probably why there’s a lot of man at the gym. A little bit of more glute machines won’t hurt. Maybe they would even bring more women to the gym!💪 Other then that Lakeridge athlete’s club is great. I just really hope they would consider this advice.

The outdoor pool is fabuloso. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the rest of the facility is closed. Pool is only available to members and their guests and swimming times were 45 minutes scheduled in advance for assigned lanes. Family/friends share a lane (no me gusta). Scheduling process is changing so the facility can fit more people in, which is likely to make it more difficult and stressful for those who enjoy swimming in peace. In addition, lockers, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are also unavailable at this time. Bummed.

Lakeridge Athletic Club is so much more than a typical athletic club or gym. Thanks to the owners and friendly staff and members, it is a wonderful community. My husband and I joined a year ago shortly after we moved to the area. We love the gorgeous pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. The gym itself may not be state of the art, but the equipment is always clean and is everything you need for a good workout. The kid zone is a blessing for any busy parent. The daycare staff are attentive and genuinely enjoy the kids. My son begs to go to the “school gym”. Nothing like having a toddler give you no excuses to visit the gym. Oh, and you throw in some good wine and beer you can purchase to enjoy onsite—it doesn’t get much better than this. Life would not be the same without LAC. I couldn’t recommend it more.

I joined for the lap pool. Best times for lap swimming are either before 7:30a.m. or after 6:00p.m. Otherwise many of the lanes are taken up by people water walking or just lounging around in the pool. It kind of reminds me of 'Cocoon'. It would be nice if they specifically reserved 1-2 lanes for those folks. They have a sign posted by the pool that says 'Lap lanes are for lap swimming only.' But they don't enforce that. And keep the children out of the lanes at all times. The locker room (at least the men's) is skanky! Weight lifting equipment is old and rusty. Dumbbells look like they're from the 1960' or older. The place is seriously in need of some investment and renovation. On the positive side; it's never crowded (hmmm...wonder why?).
