I decided to visit LA last weekend with my boyfriend and we were so excited to try a goat yoga class. Laughing Frog and their rescue baby goats and lambs didn't disappoint! They were only six weeks old and it was so fun to see them learn to climb. With all the craziness going on in the world today, it felt very grounding to spend time with the animals while getting my yoga on. Highly recommended!

I went to goat yoga this past Sunday at Laughing Frog Yoga and had the best time! I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most fun and unique experiences I’ve ever had.

The class was a great mix of simple yoga and playful goat interactions. At one point, I had a goat standing on my back while I was in a pose. The goats were super friendly, well taken care of, and added so much joy to the experience. It honestly just made yoga feel less serious and way more fun.

Everything was organized and well-run, and the staff made sure we were all comfortable and got plenty of time with the goats. I also loved how the environment was chill and welcoming, even for people who might be new to yoga.

It was well worth the money, and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a fun weekend activity or just something a little different. I’ll definitely be back!

Took a goat yoga class today. The class was fun. I can’t give it five stars today because the goat peed all over me. No one offered me a towel or anything. Or something to sanitize myself with. They did say sorry but it wasn’t much help. I felt disgusting halfway through the class and I didn’t know what to do. I was counting down the minutes for the class to be over with. It was uncomfortable. The back of my sweatshirt was soaked in goat pee.

Goats 10/10 instructor 0/10.

Would have preferred to have paid $50 to hang out with the goats than come to this studio for goat yoga. The teacher was annoying, making dumb goat puns as if she was talking to five-year-olds.
And then used the class to promote her not so great single? Not sure if she is an actual yoga instructor. Also, the studio is indoors with nearly 50 people packed in like sardines. Feels more like a cash grab.

All that being said I came for the goats not the yoga and the goats/ goat staff did not disappoint. I just wish this was outside and with a yoga instructor that didn’t take away from the experience.

Don’t hesitate. Just book it and go have fun. Lovely staff. Really fun atmosphere. The goats were great. Laughed so much.
Just remember to bring your own yoga mat. $10 to hire one if you forget.

I attended a breathwork class led by Ian last night and it was really extraordinary. He is a great teacher who cultivated a deeply moving experience for all in the room.

I am new to this studio, and the community aspect among the regulars was immediately evident. The space felt welcoming and humble, helping me to feel right at home. I look forward to coming back soon.

Camila Greenberg's yoga classes actually vaulted my spirit-soul-and body up onto a whole new plane in life. If that sounds like hyperbole - trust me - you just haven't taken her classes yet. Her classes and her Sacred Ceremonies healed, transformed, and revolutionized my entire life!

It was such a pleasant suprise to find this puppy yoga class in Ocean Park. Set outside in a private, grassy area, the yoga teacher led a very healing and community-filled yoga class of all ages. The puppies, dressed in glam, were the icing on the cake. My daughter and her friends loved starting her 12th birthday with Sunday morning puppy yoga.

I love dogs. I love puppy yoga. I’ve practiced at multiple studios in different cities and never had a bad experience until Laughing Frog. The woman who apparently ran the rescue was carrying the dogs around for people to hold prior to class, but would not let anyone touch them unless they followed the dog on Instagram (despite everyone having paid to be there). She also brought her two adult dogs but clearly didn’t take them out prior, because one pooped on my mat. That dog was old enough to have been trained to do otherwise. I was able to flag someone down with a bag, but they had nothing to sanitize the mats with (other classes I’ve taken have had cleaning supplies ready to go in case of accidents). The adult dog also kicked a ton of dirt into my face - my mat was so dirty I felt like I couldn’t use it so I barely did yoga.
The fence they used was so poorly set up that puppies escaped at least three times, aggravating other dog owners that were walking by.
I will never practice with this group again. There are other rescues in LA that offer puppy yoga + pilates classes in much better conditions.

I had so much fun trying the new kitty yoga! The instructor, Jodi, was fantastic and made me feel so welcome despite it being my first time doing yoga. The kittens, from Kitty Bungalow, were so adorable and this is definite a must try in LA. Looking forward to goat and puppy yoga as well. Thanks so much Laughing Frog!

Felt very out of place being the only person of color in the room. Yoga comes from my culture and I've never felt more on edge doing yoga before. The white self proclaimed yoga instructor had a very obnoxious voice, and went on about "manifesting a yatch" and talking about how as a white person in west LA she understands struggling with money. It was so out of touch and the instructor had no self-awareness. Nothing about the class was spiritual, they were playing american pop music from time to time and they renamed poses as every white person doing yoga loves to do. It was just a bunch of white people taking the soul out of a cultural practice and profiting off misinterpreting and misappropriating and repacking the practice. I encourage them to try to hire someone from south asia to teach yoga if they honor and respect the culture it comes from.

I don’t know, it was an experience let’s just say that. It was my first yoga session so the yoga was obviously new to me. There were 2 goats for about 50 people. Would I do it again? No. My opinion is that $40 is overpriced for a venue they don’t pay for.( public space in a park where we got muddy and yoga mats were soiled) hey if you are able to get 50 people to try it once and make $2000 in 90 mins, hats off to you!

Rented this company for puppy yoga and should have been suspicious when there were no pictures of their puppies online or sent to me when I was coordinating details. The six dogs, only two of which were actually puppies, were disturbingly wearing clothes, had terrifying haircuts, and were kind of scary themselves. the yoga was yoga you could lead yourself in if you googled “basic yoga positions” and the trainer kept putting treats in between our toes for the dogs to lick out even though we expressed obvious discomfort with this. overall it was $2100 for six ugly dogs and i would not recommend

Only been here 4 times but so far it’s great ! I’m new to yoga so I’ve been doing a mix of slower paced practices and faster ones.

Currently there’s a few for unlimited 21 days for 50$ . They also have a class pass for 25$

After my 21 days are up, there’s a good chance I’ll sign up for a monthly membership.

I really like the atmosphere in the studio !

This is a great studio with nice choice of classes. I am a member for 6 months now and coming here weekly.
Things I like: easy sign up for the class, text class reminders, classes start early morning(7:30am) couple of days during the week which works great for me, free convenient covered parking, and awesome teachers!
Things that could be improved: the restroom is really messy sometimes (disposable toilet seat covers would be very appreciated), water dispenser could be renewed and it is out of water very often ( especially after evening classes).
My favorite go to classes: all Jean Marie classes (she is incredible and motivating teacher), Kaia morning class, Kartini classes and and must go Breathwork class with Robert!
I picked this studio after meticulous research in the area, it’s very simple, but the value from classes is compensating some lack of esthetics.

Literally the worst experience ever. Very unprofessional unflexible staff and wast not allowed into the class after 2 hour drive to the class. Will not book again

————————————————————————————
Response to owner:
1. First of all, the city mandate is not effective until Nov 4
2. I respect if your studio has your own enforced policy to ensure public health - however I did present negative test result , which I’d argue demonstrate the same results your studio is hoping to enforce or even most accurate since there are COVID positive cases after vaccination. I just found the inflexibility unreasonable and repelling
3. After rejection from entering class, the customer had to write an email themselves to ask for refund. Just the worst customer experience I’ve had in LA studios

Our work team did a puppy yoga activity at Laughing Frog and everyone had an amazing time! We reached out via their website and Kareem quickly responded with all the information we needed to make a decision. Kareem was super helpful for setting everything up  and Laughing Frog Yoga provided an exceptional experience. They were extremely accommodating to our group and were very pleasant to work with. They were always quick at responding to our questions.  No issues at all with them and the venue!

Our event was 1.5 hours and we enjoyed every minute of it. The yoga instructor was phenomenal and she catered to our group's needs based on our yoga expertise levels. The "puppy wranglers" were also very helpful and they definitely made sure the puppies were well taken care of and interacted with each participant throughout the session. The dogs were of various breeds and some of them were older dogs that looked like puppies. All of them were adorable and they enjoyed playing around and interacting with us. I'm also happy that some of the dogs were rescue animals and this is was a great way to encourage adoption. Afterward, we were even given plenty of time to take pictures with the puppies and they set up special photography lights to ensure the pictures turn out well.

The yoga studio was very clean and plenty of parking available at the site. There are some good restaurants your group can eat at in the same strip mall and nearby. Many in our group commented that this was one of the best fun activities they did and a highlight of the week. Definitely worth doing if you want a fun and unique activity for the group and bring home some amazing memories.

This is an awesome, no frills studio with ample parking. Probably my favorite in LA. It's a toss up between here and another studio nearby but this one is more affordable so the scale definitely tips this way. No showers/locker rooms. No snobby feeling like a lot of other studios in LA and Santa Monica. All of the instructors I've had so far have been good or outstanding. I love Jodi Michaels, Constance Hartwell and Ashley Hawkins. They have something for everyone at Laughing Frog, you just gotta try all the classes out. Only con is that there are only 4-5 classes per day so if you can only go on a certain day at a certain time, you might not find a class/instructor that's exactly what your yoga dreams are made of, but it'll still be a good experience. :)

I've been to a lot of studios in LA, and super excited to finally have found my yoga home in Brentwood/West LA! The first thing I noticed that was different about Laughing Frog was the welcoming atmosphere. The teachers, front desk staff, and other students were all so friendly and made me feel right at home. This was great to see as there are so many pretentious studios on the westside that seem to have forgotten what yoga is all about. The quality of teaching at Laughing Frog is top notch and is what keeps me coming back. Every teacher has their own unique and distinct teaching style and so much to learn from all of them. Yin with Marie, Breathwork with Robert, and Yogalates with Amber have been some of my favorite classes. I even checked out the goat yoga class and can't remember the last time I laughed so much. Best of all, Laughing Frog is affordable. Their $89/month unlimited is by far the best price I've seen on the westside. Super happy I found this place.

a friend recommended laughing frog when i first moved to brentwood three years ago. i've seen it blossom from a small, few times a week classes studio to a large but intimate community. it's the only studio i've attended where i don't feel like i am in competition with the other students, where the teachers leave me feeling safe, and the only studio i have ever missed when i can't go practice. i've developed not only physically, but spiritually from attended laughing frog. it is for people of all levels, from all backgrounds, who want a safe space and a community beyond the studio. it is not commercialized, it is not a chain, and it does not have that 'fake' westernized feeling that is too common at many other studios. i have made great friends, i have learned so much, and i am so thankful i found this studio!

I tried a class at Laughing Frog after visiting places like Yoga Works. I really enjoyed the class I took. What I preferred about the class was the focus on breathing along with the movement, which is a fundamental part of yoga, and a part that I felt the other studios I visited lacked. The instructor, I think her name was Danielle, was really knowledgeable and provided helpful instruction and adjustments. The ambiance of Laughing Frog is warm and calming. I would recommend this studio.

This yoga studio offers a nice variety of classes in different styles to suit your temperament. Vigorous flow classes as well as more meditative yin style. The teachers all seem well qualified and dedicated to their students. Class sizes seem just right with enough room so you don't feel crowded. The studio was recently renovated and it now has a very warm and tranquil atmosphere. There are also special classes and events. I recently attended a sound-bath event which was pretty mind blowing. An hour of immersion in pure sound gave me a very deep and restful sleep afterwards. If you are in the area I recommend checking this place out.

The yoga studio overall had a relaxed vibe and was not pretentious unlike other studios I've visited. This class was more focused on restorative poses, and some meditation to begin. We also did some long holding stretches which I needed. The teacher was friendly and helpful to change your alignment if needed. I have been coming to this yoga studio for over a year after discovering it through Groupon (perfect for poor college students!) and I absolutely love it. The studio changed ownership recently, which can be disconcerting for anyone who has found a place they find special. It provokes anxiety about the future: what changes will come? Will they instructors I enjoy remain? What does this mean for the space that I go to to seek calm and to escape for an hour from my day-to-day responsibilities?

These anxieties were put to rest when all that I loved about the studio remained: the knowledgeable and helpful teachers who emanate positive energy; and many new great things were introduced and developed: beautiful renovations, new mats, diffused oils, new classes, new events, an even greater sense of community, and more. I definitely recommend checking it out!

It can be intimidating to go to a new yoga studio. After practicing all over the west side and experiencing the sensation of being an outsider to an already established community, I finally found Laughing Frog.

The studio is clean and beautiful, and all of the instructors and students have such a warmth to them that I felt instantly at home.

They offer a wide variety of classes, led by down to earth teachers who are both skilled and uplifting. Their monthly membership price is the best I have found.

UNLIMITED parking is always a plus, since I am not a fan of driving and looking for parking can be stressful - not what you want before your yoga class.
