I love what these guys/coaches are doing at Legacy and the environment is amazing. I’m inspired and have been feeling better since joining. Looking forward to continuing my development with at this gym. The scheduled classes 6 days a week makes it convenient. If you are looking for a safe clean environment or have little ones I strongly recommend trying Legacy they even offer a free class to check it out. Legacy is life changing. 💪

I have been here for a over 2 years with them and can honestly say that they are a amazing gym. I started with just bringing my kids to Muay Thai, which was great. They have coaches with dedication and patience to help children from beginners to one's competing. They also have a Kids jujutsu class that is great. I later on joined myself and was glad they had a talked with me to range my condition to better help with my overall fitness goals. I had gotten in car accident and the coaches help me with modified mobility stretches and work outs for recovery. Started with fitness and conditioning and recently joined to Muay Thai classes. Honestly a great environment for both kids and adults it's welcoming and friendly to everyone.

I’m a beginner & everyone is very friendly, lots of experienced people to learn from. Instructors & staff are great. The vibe I get there is super positive; everyone wants to get better and everyone wants to make each other better. Pretty wide age and skill range, so there’s always a good drill/sparring partner.

I recently spent five months training at this gym, and I cannot recommend it enough! When I met Keo, she was incredibly welcoming and offered to show me around. I liked Keo's vibe, and it was clear from the start how much she genuinely cares about the gym, its members, and their experience. She suggested I start with the strength and conditioning program before moving on to the Muay Thai classes as a beginner. Having Coach Kirby as the coach for strength and conditioning was exactly what I needed as a beginner. He is patient, answers questions, helps with form, and lets you build your strength at your own pace. His approach conveys that you are here to work out for yourself, and that's what I liked about his training style. I honestly have nothing but positive things to say about Keo, Coach Kirby, and the overall atmosphere of this gym. I definitely would recommend it if you're looking a great gym!

I’ve been training at this Muay Thai gym for over a year now, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Like anything, what you put into it is what you get out of it—and this gym gives you every opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.

In the beginning, I was only attending occasionally, but even then, I received a ton of encouragement and support from the coaches. They were incredibly hands-on, making sure I had a solid foundation in the fundamentals. Their attention to detail and dedication helped me build confidence early on while gradually improving my cardio and understanding of basic Muay Thai skills.

Over the past two months, I fully committed to my training and began preparing for my first-ever PMT. I’ve been attending class three to four times a week, and the transformation—both physically and mentally—has been amazing. I started seeing changes in my physique within the first month, lost ~16lbs by the 40 day mark, and even more exciting, I began applying new techniques in sparring almost immediately after learning them. The real-time progress has been incredibly motivating.

The atmosphere at the gym is uplifting and community-driven. So much so that I even convinced a friend to join, and he’s had an equally great experience. This isn’t just a gym—it’s a place where you grow, get stronger, and gain real confidence. I’m so grateful for the journey so far, and I’m excited to keep progressing.

If you’re even slightly considering trying Muay Thai, this is the place to do it. Highly recommend!

Thank you Keo, Coach P, Coach Marco’s, and Coach Rocky for answering all my questions, the exhausting classes, and being patient with me.

One of the best decisions we’ve made signing up our son who’s 5 for the kids classes at Legacy Muay Thai. The culture among all of the members is nothing else but filled with kindness. You fall, your opponent will reach out to help you stand up. You don’t know a move, fellow member will show you what to do. Coaches - knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you!

You tryna get yo hands right lil bro? You wanna make sure yo new shawty ex boy friend cant fold you like a lawn chair? Well pull up this the right place! Ive trained at 3 different gyms and this is by far the best and good for all levels. If youre new, they'll work with you, and the sparring is light and safe enough to not deter you from coming back. If youre seasoned and want to turn up a little bit there are a good amount of fighters who can give you a challenge without things getting out of hand either. This gym has been apart of my routine for nearly 2 years. I came in for exercise and hobby and next thing you know I was ready for competition and was folding ops myself! I even found my girlfriend (now fiance) here at this gym... And guess what, after training here, Ill fold all her Ex mans too, they dont want no smoke. Anyways 5 stars its good here.

Legacy has amazing qualified coaches and genuine owners. It definitely has a family feel compared to other gyms. There are good and authentic people here. It is clean, huge and has a lot of different options for all ages. They have Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, strength and conditioning (my favorite) and more. They are super accommodating if you have to bring your kids along and offer classes for them also. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

I've been training in combat sports since 2006. I started in Muay Thai in 2008 at Millennina MMA under a Muay Thai world champion. After moving to Sac in 2009, I could not find a good home to train. Urijah Faber's ultimate fitness was not good for me, a few other placers did not make the cut. I racked up an amateur record of 2-2. Needless to say, I've had experience with training, gyms, and instructors. After retiring from MMA in 2012, I decided to get back in shape and found Legacy. The best part about this gym is the community they're building and the coaches. There are no big I's or little You's here. The coaches accommodate anyone from straight beginner to advanced fighters like myself. You will learn, get in great shape, and have a 2nd family when you train here. Coming to Legacy I got back into competing and they ensured that I was ready and won my first Point Muay Thai fight at 38 years old.

Hands down one of the best gyms I have been to where everyone supports, encourages and contributes to everyone’s goals. This is a technically talented family business with coaches from the industry so you’re getting advanced level coaching but from easy to understand approach and concepts. This is an ego free environment and no one is out to prove themselves. Highly recommend Legacy to build a champion in you!

When I first started Legacy’s strength and conditioning program, I was casually going to a gym but I was never able to push myself or get comfortable with heavy weights. But here they teach you proper form and all sorts of great workouts. I never did a deadlift, bench press or a squat before Legacy. I’ve been going now since mid October. And I love every moment of it. You just have to keep going, you will notice a difference. The coaches and owners are amazing people. Through Patrick I’ve learned more discipline and control in exercises, through Kirby confidence in weight lifting, and with Jeff I’ve learned to keep pushing myself with exercises. I’ve yet to start the Muay Thai program but that is a goal of mine.

This gym lives up to its name, Legacy. I never thought i’d see myself doing Muay Thai or heavy weight lifting, but grew to loving it! All the coaches are very experienced with many years of training, some of which are still actively training to fight. So that says a lot! When you walk in, you automatically feel a sense of belonging and inclusion. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. We are told that we are ONE. One gym, one Legacy. When one person is training for competition, we all train for competition. It’s very motivating and encouraging. First class is always free, so come join the Legacy family. Don’t let fear stop you from becoming a greater version of yourself.

This is a gem in East Sacramento. I am glad that I started my Muay Thai journey here a few years ago and sad to say bye to the Legacy family due to a new job offer in another city. The coaches here are top notch and make one feel part of a larger family. There isn't many gyms that offer Muay Thai and a strength and conditioning program. This one has the coaches to offer great programs to help one become a better Muay Thai practicioner or help you reach your own fitness goals. All levels are welcomed. Each coach helps build the basic and fundamentals to create a solid foundation. Bruce Lee said, "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who had practiced one kick 10,000 times."
I love the Legacy gym and will miss it dearly.

Highly recommend coming here. FIRST CLASS IS ALWAYS FREE so you can get a feel of how things are done here. Keo, the owner is very welcoming and more than willing to explain things. Prices aren’t bad at all for what you’re getting for your money. Coaches are very professional and have extensive knowledge of what they’re teaching. At the end of the day they want you to have fun, be safe, learn and take care of your body. This is my escape from the day to day grind. When I’m there I don’t think about whatever issues I’m having in my personal life. Along with Muay Thai they offer strength and conditioning as well as power lifting. I’m currently taking Muay Thai with strength and conditioning. I lifted weights at the gym for the last couple years thinking I was getting a good workout, I didn’t know what a real workout was until I came here. We grind hard in there #teamlegacy

I have been coming here for at least two years now, and I still really enjoy it. Are the workouts hard? Yes; but I think that's the point. I always leave feeling tired, but accomplished. I especially like sparing days on Friday. People don't go hard, but it is challenging and intimidating. What I like the most, however, are the people. All the coaches and students are genuinely nice people. That's what makes me come back again and again.

I am relatively young, only 15 but not a single person here treats me any less competent because I am younger and I have done lots of martial arts in the past but left after a week or two because none really caught my interest but this gym is excellent whether you’re are looking for feeling stronger, a confidence boost for younger children, discipline, whatever... This place is absolutely amazing and I love it here when you screw up they don’t laugh they help you improve this place is like a family and they don't at all make me feel excluded. I will definitely be staying in this gym and I 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for martial arts or physical improvement, The prices are also very good at $105/month for 3+ days a week and the first class is free, I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do

Edit: It’s now May 2020 and Legacy is still great. I’ve been training for over 2 years now and couldn’t be happier with my progress and the support I receive here.

I have been training at Legacy Muay Thai since January 2018 (it is now mid June). From the first time I walked in the door, everyone has made me feel at home. I have been training in various martial arts for roughly 12 years and have been to many different dojos and mma gyms. Of all the dojos I have trained at, Legacy is at the top of my list. If you are looking for great training, excellent and fun trainers, and a strong community, this is the place for you.
