Had a gym membership since before it became legends did join a secondary gym because times that worked out for me where very busy there updated my card and was a mess getting that resolved mind you I had never missed a payment prior to this i call to try getting resolved was questioned if I even had funds and that I was in collections because after 72 hours of no payments is their next process that was weird to me because they late fee was processed according to manager fernando late fees are processed manually so did they change exp date manually because it was same card on file I then attempt to go online to update card but website is being redirected so I call back to get an email now manager is saying system is down which was never related in the first call after rude remarks honestly just disappointed on how bad their customer service was they definitely do not value long term customers and not helpful or caring at all if I could give zero stars to the employees that helped today I would. NOT saying all employees are as incompetent but def the two that worked today were.

Been a member here for almost a year. $45/month for the basic tier membership. If I could find a gym with similar selection of equipment at a better price I would go there. Here’s why: Best selection of equipment I’ve been able to find EXCEPT for handles/grips. All of theirs are bolted to their machines I'm guessing to prevent theft. Strict about moving free weights around the gym, but DB’s and plates are never organized. Would be nice to use KB’s and med balls on the turf. Super strict on dress code, but there’s only two men’s stalls and no lockers. No jeans or polos (coming straight from work). Can’t take shoes off to stretch, but shoes can be off to squat and crocs and construction boots are okay? Guests are allowed but only if they have a CA driver’s license. Guests from other states/countries are strictly prohibited. Their “rules/policies” make sense, but don’t. The female manager that I’ve seen there a lot is not friendly at all. They charge $10 maintenance fee and premium prices for memberships, but really only offer the basics you can find at any other gym. Their only redeeming quality is their wide selection of equipment, otherwise just go to 24 hour.

“Stay away from this place, it’s horrible. I trained there for 4 days and lost a total of 95 USD — 35 USD for the basic package, 20 USD for the cancellation fee, and two other 20 USD charges I don’t even know what they were for.”

This gym claims to be open 24 hours, but they actually close at 12 AM on weekends “for maintenance.” Funny thing is, the maintenance never seems to happen — the bathrooms are always dirty, smell terrible, and there’s literally piss on the floor half the time. For $45 a month, this place is definitely not worth it. they’re going to advertise 24 hours, they should actually stay open and keep the place clean.

Heard great things about this place, so my brother and I finally decided to stop by and check it out. We signed up for the free trial online, and as soon as we got to the front desk to introduce ourselves, before we could even finish explaining what we were there for, an employee immediately cut us off and asked for IDs.
No problem — we handed them over. My brother showed his driver’s license, and I presented my U.S. Passport ID card. The employee refused to accept it, saying they only take driver’s licenses. I even offered a photocopy of my license along with the physical passport card, but apparently, I can use this same ID to travel to Canada and Mexico… just not to enter this gym.
Guess these guys are stricter than TSA, lol. Glad to say I’ll be staying loyal to UFC Gym Oxnard

Went in for a day pass and as expected there is a fee which is fine. But when the staff member made the mistake to charge me for a YEAR which is a wonderful 360$ I have to contact there finance department……. And yes they processed the refund and STILL charged a day pass.
You made a mistake and charged a visitor a year membership and couldn’t comp a day pass so I have to wait for the refund to process and also get charged 20 dollars. For something you called a “glitch” I get we make mistakes as people but also understand you just took 380$ out of someone’s account. There was no accommodation for the “mistake”

I canceled my membership back in April and was still charged. I immediately emailed requesting a refund but never received a response. Today, after checking my bank account, I discovered unauthorized charges where someone is using my card to make purchases.
I called and requested to speak with a manager but was told by Rachel, who claimed to be “in charge,” that I had to email my concerns again. She was dismissive, careless, and provided no real assistance. For a company handling people’s financial information, this is completely unacceptable.
There needs to be a manager on-site who can address billing issues and potential fraudulent activity right away—not just pass customers off to email with no accountability.
⚠️ Be very careful providing your bank account or card information to this company.

I’ve been coming to this gym before it was legends and honestly the previous staff was way nicer. This has been my home gym for a couple of years now. This gym gets so packed and you can hardly find any open machines if you come past 6pm. It’s become a place to socialize for people rather than to workout. It gets super hot in there and they never open any doors to let the air out so all you can smell is gym musk. The 10$ maintenance fee they charge is pretty dumb considering the paper is never really restocked, there’s lots of machines that need fixing, the pools not open, and there’s lots of black mold in the men’s restrooms. Cool equipment tho. I say you guys should find a better gym tbh

Its a really good gym. And the machines are awesome as hell!!! I just wished the muscle Beach was still open and had mirrors like back then. Pools still been closed for years. Also really miss the old staff. Seems as if the new ones are really uninteractive and come off as strong. Maitenance fee i dont get from time to time because why are you charging 9 bucks a month considering theyre not there like half of the time. Unless you consider janitors. (Really kind btw). Also when using the hamstring curl machine in the corner, towards the other side of the bathroom. I found a roach lol. UPDATE:As of 8/6/25 I found more bugs. They look to be mites??

This gym has an excellent selection of equipment catering to all types of lifters, making it one of the best gyms in the area for serious weight training. The staff is friendly and does a great job maintaining the gym floor and enforcing house rules, though better regulation of tripod setups would be appreciated.
However, there are some downsides. The black walls and dim lighting create unnecessary eye strain and detract from the overall energy of the space. The music is often geared toward a younger crowd, which may not appeal to all members. The bathrooms are consistently unclean, so it’s best to avoid using them if possible. Additionally, there are no lockers available, and they don’t offer day passes for guests, whether paid in cash or free.
Despite these issues, the gym’s equipment and atmosphere for serious lifters still make it a solid choice for dedicated fitness enthusiasts.
Update: I had to knock them down to 2 stars for implementing an automatic price increase, adding an additional “enhancement fee”, and forcing members to cancel in-person (what if you move?). They have to know that the previous gym owner at that location went down for his shady business practices.

Great equipment but monthly fees have skyrocketed. They also charge you monthly for maintenance. I also agree with everyone here the staff is rude and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. They are also charging me a $20 cancellation fee. I used to love coming here but they are just greedy now. Plenty of other gyms out there.

Horrendous customer service, staff just stands around. The equipment is great, but the fact that they REQUIRE you pay a mandatory 10 dollar monthly maintenance fee in addition to your monthly charge is robbery. The thing that drove me to cancel my membership was that the monthly bill went up 58% without any warning. When I called and asked why I wasn’t informed the rep stated that they sent out a mass text and email which was not the case for me. Gym is a work in progress that has yet to be fully open. Spend your money elsewhere.

$35 base membership. $10 equipment fee per month. Too expensive for quality. Went here for a few months and they ran out of wipes several times when I go. Too many people. 2 bathroom stalls doesn’t work for this many people. They got the 2nd star solely based on variety of machines. And they want to throw in a $20 membership cancellation fee.

Most of the employees just stand around chatting with each other, acting like they’re too cool to actually help anyone. When you ask for assistance, no one seems to know how to properly process a membership or handle a cancellation. There are plenty of staff members on the floor, yet not a single one is trained to offer real support. The whole system is disorganized and frustrating. Definitely not worth the hassle. no one seems properly trained. Billing doesn’t even have a direct line.

Pros: lots of machines and benches, equipment organization, music
Cons: dark for no reason, weights never in order making finding the desired weight difficult, 3 desk attendants yet they still ask you to wait even though they are standing there just talking to each other, bathrooms not labeled
Overall: it's a nicely equipped gym that gets the job done if you don't care about a generally indifferent staff

Payed 60 ish my first month because I went with my friend and it seemed like a decent gym. However after two weeks and having a closer look at some of these machines a lot of them aren’t working right now. I do like the gym in some areas however the gym has Lots of members and it’s apparent on a busy day, so why is the sauna not working? Why isn’t the water machine working? Why does it seem like at least a few machines per muscle group are becoming useless? Idk. I like your hoodies though, I’ll get one next paycheck I guess.

Honestly I did like the gym at first, it’s a bummer how rude some of the employees are there. On Sunday 3/2 I’m not sure what her name is , i was there from 11-1 girl in black hair and glasses was extremely rude and passive aggressive when I was just simply asking a question about a concern I had . In that moment I did not want to pay money for a gym anymore with staff that talks down to you like that and was assured of that when I let her know I was cancelling and she continued to be even more rude and have a nasty attitude. However, at least the guy who helped me cancel was very sweet and understanding, more of the staff should strive to be like him.

This place will always be a scam regardless of the name on the building. Additional monthly fees and restrooms still look like a bomb went off in there because of the year long remodeling that is still not done. Icing on the cake is the crappy little keyboard with half of the numbers missing from the buttons that you have to use every time you enter the gym, maybe a 20$ dollar purchase on Amazon that'll help your members get into the gym faster without having to enter their numbers multiple times idk just thinking out loud...

overall this gym is great.
negative anecdotes: i froze my membership for a month and was told i would need to come in IRL to reactivate my membership, but they charged me the following month anyway. so keep an eye on their admin.
they are also extremely inconsistent and micromanage-y about their change plates, especially with female members. CrossFit vets, beware trying to get a "normal" lifting sesh in in the functional fitness area. it would be helpful to be able use the 2.5s + 5s...progressive overload without 20# jumps, ya know?
anyway, the bathrooms are looking fantastic and the pool will be great in the summer, i hope.

I’m a member and I wanted to go ONE night with my teenage daughter, they don’t have a day pass for her because she’s under age. That’s crazy! The previous owner let me get my daughter and me for a fee, but this new owner policy didn’t let me. So instead, that night I went to 24 hours fitness, I paid for two passes and it was so easy! This new owner needs to update this policy because he will lose money and I might change my membership to another gym if they don’t allow me to take my daughter like other gyms do!

FYSA state ID is on the way due to DMV purposes.Had to pay a measly $20 day pass to keep up running the place since they love their fees. Just say you are a struggling business and will open a go fund me for yall. Staff is super un-professional and is not up to par with other facilities in the areas knowledge when it comes to customer service and knowledge of gym etiquette. If you are big on fees. Gym will charge you for hidden fees/1st sign up fees throughout the membership. To claim biggest baddest gym in the world is definitely an understatement. Definitely biggest scammer/ and unhygienic restrooms. Place is down bad, equipment is the only thing saving this place.

Signing in as a visitor be like Mission Impossible. I had to input my information multiple times (as well as my sponsor). The system finally accepted our information. A few minutes after I started my workout, I remembered I had left something in my car. I let the front desk know I’d be right back. They were happy to inform me that I would not be let back in if I left. I explained that I was just going to my car. And they said, “yeah. And you won’t be let back in…”
👀
Yeah. Never going back as a visitor for sure (even though my buddy pays extra to have visitors), nor would I ever get a membership at such a place. However, they would get a FIVE STAR in one area: Incredibly great at anti-advertisement. 🤨

Terrible dishonest business practices.
When you sign up for a free trial (7 days), they make you sign up for a membership starting automatically the day your trial is over. Then the trial is only 6 days (last I checked 7 days is actually 7 days but that's just me), and you have to cancel in person. Calling is not enough
On top of that then they charge you 20 dollars to cancel which is ridiculous. How do you charge someone for a cancelation? What is the reasoning for that fee?
Its a scam, save your money. These people are focused on aesthetics, not honesty. There are better gyms out there that aren't exercising thievery and scams.

The gym offers a wide selection of high-quality machines and equipment, which is its strongest point. It’s spacious, but like many gyms, it turns chaotic after 5 p.m. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is not very welcoming. The staff and members tend to come off as unfriendly, creating an environment that feels more ego-driven than community-oriented.
The gym is also quite strict with its rules, especially when it comes to using dumbbells. For bodybuilders who like to superset, it’s frustrating that dumbbells can only be used at the rack, and they are rarely paired properly, making it difficult to find matching weights.
The restrooms are another issue—they’re consistently unpleasant, and despite ongoing complaints, the situation hasn’t improved. Also, the membership rule that prevents your 'bring a friend' option from including former members seems unnecessarily restrictive and inconvenient.
If you’re an average gym-goer, you might not feel particularly valued or appreciated here. I continue to be a member solely because of the variety of equipment, but the overall experience leaves much to be desired. The staff’s greetings feel forced, and getting concerns addressed by management seems nearly impossible.
That said, if you do decide to join, I’d recommend taking a good pre, and make sure you are hyped for your workout before entering. And maybe, spread a little positivity with a smile—it’s much needed in this space.

The only reason I'm not giving this place a one star is because of its location, its conveniently located close to my place so I can get there within walking distance, my frustration with this place its that its been "renovated" for over a year and it's still nowhere near finished, the lockers are gone, the outside "muscle beach" is closed, the pool is also closed, the showers don't work, the restrooms are gross and smell horrible, yeah its big and has plenty of room, but there is also a lot of equipment that is broken or out of service, honestly this gym has really gone down hill from what World Gym was two years ago, for a 25 dollars monthly fee, I would honestly look somewhere else.

Previous golds gym and world gym member at this same location that is now operated by legends barbell. I was refused a guest pass before signing up because I was a member at this facility when it was owned by a complete different gyms. You would think if you changed the equipment and made improvements from the previous gyms you’d want those old members the chance to try your new gym before signing up just like all your other potential new members who you start with a 7 day trial but no, should have been red flag number one to not to sign up here. Signed up for their $25 dollar membership which ends up being $35 because they charge you a monthly $10 maintenance fee… red flag number two … that’s $120 a year just in maintenance fee’s. Gym atmosphere was okay as long as you don’t go after 5 pm or you will find yourself searching for weight plates for most of their machines or squat racks as they don’t have enough plates for the amount of machines they have. If you are planning to lift over 125lbs good luck in finding additional plates. Dumbbells racks are a joke, missing dumbbells, dumbbells from different brands that don’t match, and none are organized whatsoever. Outdoor is closed, pool is closed , basketball hoops are closed, toilet paper or paper towels not continuously refilled. Where are the $10 extra maintenance fee really going towards? Wanted to bring my son who is under 18, was told by front desk for an extra $10 a month I could bring in a guest unlimited times as long as they’ were not previous members. Made sure to ask about him being 14 and if it would be an issue and they said no problem. Weeks had gone by and I asked again another rep since my son would be going on summer break soon and I wanted to now use the new benefits for unlimited guest again was confirmed if he was 14 or 11 years or older it be no issue. Decide to finally bring him in and we are told at the door he can’t come in because his not 18, spoke to both managers present who said he can’t be part of my unlimited guest privileges but that he could sign up for his own membership!? In no moment in time did either manager take responsibility for the misinformation provided by their employee’s, claimed it was for liability reasons but are willing to take more money to sign him up instead! What a joke ! Cancelled my membership on the spot and you guessed it … $20 fee to cancel ! No customer service this gym is not worth your money. Used to be good and I don't mind change. Change is always great but not completely. I was a member for 6-7 year I think. Always paying 2 years or 1 year in advance. I dislike montho plus leaving credit card on file for months so extremely hard to cancel. 6 months down my annual they didn't let me go in. Unless I give me credit card info. I'm not going to give bank account nor CC for monthly. To bad chargr backs don't work after 6 months or id be opening one. Then they replied like 2-3 weeks later. With contact world gym support. I'm a 24 hours gym member and I can visit any gym I like. I would have not mind paying more once my year ended case they were revamping everything which was rad. Oh well I'll never comeback. I referred two people and pretty much the same and don't take insurance either

I believe it has to do whether you go distracted with your phone and members are not gonna greet at you by chasing you to greet at you or shake your hand.
Sure the gym needs a better AC/air purifier, new pads on majority of the benches, new floor grip Ruber, and give better lubrication to the machines. (That work requires time and money that has to come from the gym profit not the owner).
Also is people would care about not dropping weight to the floor that almost want to dig wholes with them, re-rack weights back to its place instead of leaving them who know where. I wouldn't be surprised if there were in the restrooms. People (member have to apport a bit to have the gym great.
They go all sweaty from bench to bench they don't dry or clean with paper. "Carry a gooddam ✋ towel with you" that'll help to have longer life or the benches, re-rack weight back don't be too lazy, if you drop the weights that's means you're not strong enough go lighter on weight till to become stronger.
And get your lazy butt to workout instead of using your cellphone to watch videos or whatever. Let someone else use the them if your too busy with your phone. Stay home save your gym money so you don't have to complain. Care for the gym as it was yours, that way you'll always do a workout at a gym your proud to be member of.
Great gym: I left 24hrs for this one.
The owner is doing great job at having a better gym every day.
To the owner: It would be pretty cool of you to not forget about beach gym, some are red painted and look great but it would be even greater if all of them were repaint red to avoid rusting machines and throw some mirrors.as.a bonus. Thanks.

The switch to Legends Barbell went like this..."Your $10 enhancement fee will be billed on the 1st of every month. The good news is you no longer have a big annual fee($50)" How is that good news? So not only do your monthly dues go up $10 (for just the base package) you also pay an extra $70 a year in maintenance fees, and still no access to the pool and disqusting locker rooms. It was insulting for them to call this good news, might as well get my car payment increased when I get a car wash too lmao!

If you wanna ruin your life and your credit score, deal with those crook people. They keep sending money to my collection without giving me any notification that my membership still on. Manny the manager told me that he cancelled my membership with them over a year but he did not to go to collection from them on my credit, which ruined my whole life for at least next seven years. Those people don’t care about you.
My advice to anyone is reading my review now to never ever go there

Pretty standard but a couple things to keep in mind. 1) No class pass- don’t try to sign up for gym time via class pass even though it’s still “available.” Very strange. But day pass is only $15 which is cheaper than most places. 2) not for people who want to deadlift. No platforms or deadlift jacks or wedges and they only have square-side plates…which are awkward for trying to set your stance in my opinion. The bumper plates are locked up in the “cross fit” area. If you’re a visiting powerlifter, spend the extra $5 to get a day pass at Golds Gym.

So disappointed, this use to be the best gym, but not anymore. Apparently it has new franchise owners that are very incompetent. I purchased a personal trainer package, and then they shut down for 8 or so months due to Covid, now they are opening up again and won’t give me my sessions nor refund me or give me ANY kind of credit. $200 down the drain.
As the other reviews have stated, they keep saying it’s new owners, but it’s really the same people with different job titles, trying to avoid giving anyone what they have paid for.
This gym is definitely not going to make it. They have zero customer service skills.
Don’t waste your time here, they’re just out to take your money and run.

THE BEST GYM IN OXNARD IS BACK BABY!!
I got my bench back up to 505 for a double and recently squatted 600 in this place. Only a fool wouldn't come here.
So much space and so much equipment. Everything is up to code and the place is always sanitary. These guys do a really good job. The other gyms in town need to step their cleaning game up.
It's a big gym with tons of equipment that work, unlike a certain cookie cutter gym near food 4 less that shall remain nameless.

I highly suggest avoiding this gym at ALL costs. Not like it matters because it doesn't seem like they are ever reopening. I moved last June due to military orders. This gym owes me money and you can't get in touch with anyone. I had to call my bank and have them put a stop payment on them because they continued to charge me even after I canceled. They owe my friend several hundred dollars as well. The lack of communication they've given current members, even staff is outrageous. Most unprofessional gym I've ever been to.

This gym is really poor on communication they owe people so much money as well as they do to me. It’s been half a year. I can’t believe how a gym can take advantage of so many people without feeling guilty or giving people their money back. I saw a review on how the gym wasn’t giving people their money back just so they don’t go bankrupt is absolutely hysterical. This gym is the worst. People work for their money and may even struggle to get the amount of money they have taken. The fact that the gym was closed and people couldn’t workout and make the money worth is absolutely unprofessional.

I personally love this place, I've been coming here for about 6months now and sure they are much older than most gyms but they recently got new weights and equipment with more changes to come! The place is pretty clean as well and the staff and members are always friendly. What I believe separates this gym from others is, that dog house vibe it has too it if you know what i mean? Other places have strict policies and limitations (too sophisticated); here you can grunt, mentor one another, and motivate yourselves, other newer gyms prohibit such behaviors for they "discourage" others which defeats the whole gym club idea and feels more like a babysitting club lol. Anyways give this gym a try if your a first timer or seasoned athlete.💪

BE CAREFUL. This company has issues with keeping their word. I was signed up for a year long contract even though the agreement I signed did not state it was a 12 month agreement. Signed up online in order to swim but later found out their pool wasn’t heated during the winter. Tried to cancel my membership for the next month and they told me I was locked into a 12-month contract. Nowhere during the online enrollment did it mention I was signing up for a year long contract. In fact, the very first section of the terms and conditions is “Month to Month Agreement.” Spoke with the general manager and she said she needs to email someone about this but it has been over a week and no word yet. I’ve read through the agreement and gone through the online enrollment process over a hundred times already.... wonder what’s taking so long...
UPDATE: Upon writing this review, the manager reached out and stated to me they canceled my membership as I requested. A month later I am still being charged...

Gym needs Alot of work.. Equipment has been broken for months.. Which include, showers.. Hot water has been off over a week.. Hot box as well.. It seems like managed is only concerned with making sure your monthly dues are on time, then fixing the problems in the gym.. The enhancement fees from my understanding are to keep the gym running smoothly.. But that is not the case.. I will admit the original owner of Golds, wasn't exactly the nicest person to be around, but he definitely made sure his Gym was up and running.. If something was broken or run down, it was taken care of b4 the week was out.. Not so much with the management you have at the moment.. losing the theater and power cage was definitely a disappointed.. I understand Zumba and Spin are the thing for the moment.. But lets not forget about the other members who enjoy other things.. The very big cage is a waste of space.. So much equipment could take its place.. The front desk and maintenance workers are very friendly ( at least to me ) in a professional way.. But some clients do have a problem with woman going in men's locker room while they are trying to change.. Not the maintenance fault.. It is management.. Schedule a male as well as a woman at the same time.. The new Golds is coming sooner than later and I do know, if World's does not get going with the complaints, u are going to lose Alot of buisness.. Hope fully that should concern you, instead of thinking, not a problem.. I have been a member when we were in back of Costco.. I enjoy the gym.. but until changes are made, I would not recommend people to sign.. Because the vibes I get is, if you don't like the way things are, u can leave..A real issue I'm having is with Worlds trying to send my bill to collections.. I was out of the gym, almost a yr, because of health issues.. I received a call from collections telling me I was behind on payment.. Which I knew nothing about.. According to the front desk.. and management, they knew nothing about it as well.. So once again, lots of problems to fix with the gym.. I keep hearing changes are coming, and that is all we have been hearing.. Hear say...( 9/ 27 / 19...I like Alot of customers or client, do not want to hear about understanding the frustrating of how we feel.. We would much rather see results.. ( Meaning changes for the better )... Worlds should not need to hear about complaints on equipment... In closing, it should not take a new Golds gym to open as well, to get things going.. Which I see is starting to happen..)

Bathrooms always dirty, most equipment is old, dirty and broken, always crowded and hard to find available equipment, poorly trained staff only looking to upsell your membership or sell new memberships, hard to find any parking since lot is always full, cant use boxing room while classes are in session, equipment taken out for "exclusive" workout area that requires additional monthly payment. It has been consistently like this for over 10 years even when they change names or get new management. Always get the same excuse that they are working to improve services, but never do.

Think twice about joining this Gym! The locker room is old and not that clean, it's in serious need of improvement. The worst is when you go to take a hot shower and no such luck. Many times you're taking a cold shower and it takes them days to fix the problem? Many of the machines are very old and missing pins. The work out equipment outside is also very old and in disrepair. Wish I had something positive to say about this gym.

It has gotten better. For the longest time the pads would rip up and they would take forever to replace it. So the spongey padding would be exposed and get saturated in people's sweat and hair product. The worst smells ever. Randomly too, not just the old busted pads. Like certain areas on the rubber mats or some weights even. And instead of addressing those health affecting items, they would rather take months for a simple remodel, removing all the wall mirrors and replacing them with smaller mirrors. Making the gym look much smaller than before now.
I would like to get in the pool but not there, ever. I remember it was closed for the longest time too. Men's bathroom actually rarely smells bad and is decently clean 99 percent of the time. I know that takes effort and that is a big pet peeve for most.

The front desk isn't always the most welcoming. The have a juice bar in there which is nice if you want a smoothie (healthy smoothie) after a workout. First, This gym was redesigned to accommodate the group training sessions ( I'm assuming thier money maker) and repositioned all the equipment wherever they could fit it leaving little space for working out. The equipment is outdated, which I don't mind, but there's pins missing on half the machines, cable equipment missing or stolen and dumbbells are scattered with no organization (very hard finding a matching pair). As mentioned on another post people parking at the fire exits which would make it hard to evacuate if there ever was an emergency.
Second, I was a memeber for 3 years and when I asked to cancel my membership the first thing I was asked was "Why" which doesn't even matter in my opinion and shouldn't even be asked. The next thing was the "HIDDEN CANCELATION FEE" of $25, which her response to that was "it's a business" and just smirked. The last thing was I needed to fill out a request and sign just to cancel my membership, she couldn't cancel there on the spot. I didn't know I needed your bosses approval to cancel MY membership, I would find another gym if you could.

I joined the gym and continue to stay primarily because of the classes they offer. I do use the weight machines and sauna. This is where I have a problem. When the equipment breaks, it stays broken for extended time. Half of the cable machines are missing parts or not operating all together. The men's sauna has been broken going on two weeks. The management is pretty much non responsive to complaints. They focus on window dressing and campaigns to add more members but not on maintaining their equipment in working order..

Alright gym for the price, it can be very crowded during peak hours.
Gym has gotten a little better since renovations as torn up mats were replaced and a few more machines but stretching area was completely removed and replaced with a single mat for everyone who doesn't have access to the group training area.
Still good for the price but you may have to wait for a machine a while if you come during peak hours, and parking can also be a bother during those times .plus everyone says cancelling is a pain in the butt so keep that in mind.
