I went to this gym because a group of friends invite me .. we are all Moms that like to get together to work out to distract our self and we motive each other .. After only 2 months on being in this gym apparently we were told by the Manger(super rude person/so unprofessional that doesn’t know how to talk to costumer by the way) that we are not allowed to workout together so what she did was Just Red Flag us which means she canceled out membership just because we ask her where in the rules it said that we can’t work

out with friends .. by the way one of our friends pays extra to be able to bring a guess .. so how come yes there’s a membership you pay to be able to bring a friend but You are violating the rules by working together with a friends make that sense .. anyways if you are planning to go and work out with friends to motivate each other and help each other out I suggest you look for a better gym Since the manager Says “it’s against there rules” .. and you would just get Red Flag by minding your own business not bothering anyone “oh never mind the only that got bother by my friends working out was the Club Director/ manager .. according to her “if our gym doesn’t satisfied your necessity you can go head and cancel and she is more then happy to help you with that” and guess what she did by Red Flag us for working out .. this gym is a joke

You would think with all the new gyms opening up here they’d try and retain gym goers. I recently went with a friend of mine to Legends to try it out, it was cool I liked it a lot at first, until the employee with the frizzy hair in the front stared me up and down for no apparent reason, whatever it’s fine, i didn’t think much of it, until they flagged my friend’s account because apparently you’re not allowed to workout with friends? That defeats the whole purpose of her paying for the buddy pass.
Needless to say, because of this contradicting and misleading policy, and the snobby frizzy haired girl in the front, I am now anxiously waiting for Crunch’s opening.

It's alright the way everyone talked about it I thought it'd be a little better. Went fo the guest pass and tried it out. For the price I like the availability of machines that's cool but it sucks on the cable machines you can't swap attachments found that kind of annoying. Staff seemed kinda stuck up maybe just a bad day but whatever. Definitely be cool if they added a sauna as well. My old gym back home for the same price was a bit bigger more locations and options they had a basketball court,pool, sauna, etc.

Online it says 24 hours 7 days a week, but it’s 24 hours 6 says a week. They close on Saturday at 12am & open Sunday at 5am. The gym has a lot of equipment but no showers and no sauna. The pro pass is $55 a month you can bring a guest and the base membership is $35 this gym is not worth what they charge and the ladies room always smells like fish…

BUT I didn't like the customer service. One of the lady's walked in the men's restroom with out any knocking or warning. My man was using the restroom he felt awkward that she just came in to clean the mirror without any heads up. So ya that's annoying!

I've been here for about a year. I don't recommend coming after 5 it gets very packed, and the AC doesn't seem to be working or is off. It gets super uncomfortable hot in there. They don't have showers, and the restrooms are dirty a lot of the time or out of paper. I do value having a lot of equipment to choose from, but unfortunately, a lot of the equipment becomes broken and out of service. This gym is more for a younger crowd. A lot of people work out in groups, so it is harder to use some equipment if multiple people who are waiting on it. The flooring in the deadlift area is crooked and hard to keep from rolling away and feeling stable with the flooring being so off. The front desk staff is always nice and welcoming, which I appreciate. They also need to keep hand sanitizer and cleaning stations refilled while seems to be inconsistent as well. They could also could improve cleanliness overall.

Great overall gym with a good amount of machines and weights available even during busy times in the evening. $45 a month (including service fee in the middle of the month), which is quite expensive but have claimed to be adding new amenities in the near future. Machine availability and gym atmosphere makes up for the membership price.
My only concerns are paper towels are not restocked occasionally and the music can be loud that I have to turn up my music just to not hear it.
Overall, Legends is a good gym that has a great variety of machines to get your daily pump in. Staff are friendly and willing to assist you if anything arises. Would recommend.

I've trained at a lot of gym across the US and I must say, Legends is hands down the best gym I've had the pleasure to lift at. Amazing staff and out of this world equipment! If the gym is packed you can go to a different section of the gym and find something that hits the same muscle group you are training. Can't beat the value! You would pay 2x as much a month at a different gym with 1/4 of the equipment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Good gym and great selection of weights and machines, but no amenities :/ one of the most expensive gyms in the high desert for no reason. They’re good but some amenities like a locker room, pool, sauna would make it worth the price. Right now it’s a bit of a ripoff, I switched gyms at the last price increase.

My second visit to Legends Barbell on Mar. 15, 2025 at 11:15 am was definitely an experience.

One of the female employees was quite rude. She asked me to stand in the corner while I was waiting. Why is there a merch shop and juice bar at the entrance of the place if you want people to stand in a corner to wait? ...there are also benches. But she said, "Can you stand over there?" Literally pointing to a corner.

The machines are not great. It seems some are just there for looks. (see photo) ...I mean what even is this machine?

This gym is not welcoming towards everyone. It is definitely catered towards a certain demographic. They blast their music loud, and you go slightly deaf in one ear just walking to the bathroom.

Checking in as a guest is a nightmare. You fill out an information sheet with all your info, typical guest sign in things.. Then they read aloud to you an entire grocery list of gym etiquette rules with every. single. visit. They also ask to see your ID with every single visit, even if the employee has seen you before. (???)

Would not recommend this gym.

Great place with TONS of options when it comes to lifting and cardio. Almost never have to wait for a machine or weights. The only downside would be small restrooms and no real locker room to speak of. They do have a few lockers in the back, but not many. Also, there are no showers or a sauna. Loved this gym! Been coming here since 2018 since the OG gym but today was just not it. Signed up for a $20 day pass at 11 pm last night and I was under the impression I had a full day. No one told me it was going to expire at midnight…

So I came in this afternoon just now and the girl with red hair at the front was so rude and said I needed to sign up for another $20 day pass. I asked if there was any way around it but she said no sorry bye have a good day. I’m visiting from San Diego and usually staff was really friendly 2 years ago. But today it was just plain rude. Love legends and have been a loyal member before moving but sorry that was just poor customer service.

Place is great for all demographics. Lots of squat racks (about 10) and benches for compund lifts. Lots of machines for accessory lifts and cardio machines.
Even during the summer, the AC is good and mostly clean facilities. During nin peak hours, I've rarely had to wait for machines and lots of parking.
I would reommend more lower back machines and heavier kettlebells.

The owner is like a politician full of lies and false hope. He claimed there would be massive improvements to the Victorville gym instead he opens another location up north. He doesnt reinvest into the gym at the Victorville location. He is driven by money and doesn’t care about the staff or members. The Changing rooms are the old dressing rooms that used to be there. Bathroom is a joke and tiny , there are no showers. Gym is disgusting on the weekends. Staff is pretty lazy on Saturday on Sundays. The gym is over priced for what you get. Basic gym equipment and one location. The cardio equipment is sub par at best. The guest sign in is a joke also. You have to wait and enter your personal information every time you bring a guest. My wife and I went in to see about a membership. We told the lady at the front desk we have a membership at in shape but we’re interested in legends as it is a little closer to the house. We asked if we could look around to see if it would fit our needs. She said no we have to wait for the manager to take us around. “We said that’s ok I asked if I could use the bathroom while I wait. She said NO bathroom is for customer only but I co Still has Pay the juice bar to use there’s. I tried to explain we were there to become members. Lots of machines but only one yoga area. If you do not pay for the highest premium membership you will be kicked out of any given area at any time if there is a class. The lowest monthly option ends up being closer to $35 a month with the fees not $25.

If I'm paying for a membership and have to stop my workout because an employee asks me to leave an area where I'm not even in the way, it makes me want to stop spending my money at that establishment. All of us only have so many hours in a day and want to workout as quickly as possible. I've had to buy equipment so I can finish working out at home so at some point there will really be no point in coming.

I give this gym a 2 Star as a guest for 2 months now. My friend owns the premium membership. He brings me along everyday. It's been 2 months now and everyday as a guest they have you wait on the side and wait for a gym personnel to check you in. They make the check in process so unpleasant. Keep in mind he pays to have a guest.

As a guest, you have to be checked in. First, they have him enter his phone. Second, they will ask for the guest ID and for him to enter his phone number. Third, the guest will fill out a form with all his contact information. Finally, they have him enter his phone number again and they read all the gym rules to the guest. This is every time even if you go everyday. If there's a line for new memberships you will be behind them at the end of the line.

This is purposely done to annoy a person to pay for a full membership. This should be changed to a smoother process. Some people wanna get in and out. We don't want to wait sometimes 30 minutes to get in and work out after we worked all day for 12 hours. Time is of the essence.

I am considering joining. But anyone that pays for the premium Its not worth it. I dont understand why it's called a premium and have to do this everyday. Anyway, the equipment is clean and in fair condition. If they change this process I'll change my rating 💯.

This gym is one of the worst gyms in the HD. The treadmills are a joke, ypu pick a program and then shutoff half way through. The gym doesn't offer anything different than other gyms besides space. This gym has no locker rooms or showers. The dressing rooms are from the old target. The leather is ripped on multiple machines. The gym is pretty pricey for only having on location. Weights are always thrown about. When people say this is the baddest gym I assume they mean in quality. Save your money and go to a gym where the owner actually takes pride in their gym not just trying to male money.

My boyfriend and I had an altercation at Legends a few months ago. He had a membership, and I had entered the gym because no one was at the front desk. We were then approached very rudely by an employee named Karina and we were told that we had to pay a 20$ "sneaking in fee". Before we could even explain ourselves the 20 dollars was charged to the account. We were inside the gym for no longer than 5 minutes, and we paid for a day pass to not even be allowed to workout. My boyfriend asked to speak to the owner, because Karina was being disrespectful, rude, and condescending, and the owner asked us if "our parents taught us not to steal". We were baffled at the disrespect. The following day, my boyfriend received a call from Legends and they apologized to my boyfriend, telling him that they didn't want to leave a bad taste in his mouth, and that they would make it right when we came back in. Today, we drove an hour to come to Legends and Karina was working front desk again. We told her that we both wanted to buy a day pass, and she told me and my boyfriend to start filling out the information on the screen. I was halfway through filling it out when she asked me to wait because their system was down. My boyfriend was talking to his friend at the time, and she never mentioned to him to not fill out the form. I walked outside to get my water bottle from the car, and when I walked back in, he had already filled out the form and paid the 20 dollars by card (they claimed they don't accept cash, which is illegal). Karina told us that we weren't eligible for a day pass because of what happened months ago, and that if we wanted to workout, we needed to sign up. At this point, my boyfriend had already paid the 20 dollars for the day pass, and she told my boyfriend that "It was his fault" because "she told him to wait". She never told my boyfriend to wait to fill out the form. My boyfriend was then visibly upset, and asked for his money back, when Karina told us that the only way to get our money back was by emailing and asking for it back. My boyfriend told Karina that he was not going to leave until he got his money back, and finally Karina agreed and told us that it was handled. Not only did Karina lie to us, saying their system was down when it wasn't, but she was also extremely rude and unprofessional to PAYING customers. We were both willing to pay 40 dollars to workout for one day, and because of an altercation that happened months ago (which we apologized for), they didn't allow us to workout. This is the second time we've had a negative experience with Karina, who is supposedly a manager. I would encourage the owner of barbell to reevaluate their business decisions and encourage them to hire a better manager. Karina is childish, unprofessional, rude, condescending, and a liar.

Best gym in the high desert. They are constantly reinvesting on new equipment and making overall improvements. It's clean. Great for any fitness goals: beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

Love this gym. They have lots of equipment, and despite it being a bit busy most of the time (not in an overwhelming matter, unless it's 6-8 pm on weekdays) you can hardly notice, since it's very spacious, and again they have lots of equipment around the place. It's almost been a year in since I've joined, and I've never really had any bad experiences in the place. Staff is nice/well mannered, and it's always clean (even in the bathrooms), and despite the membership being a bit pricey, I like how they seem to be making use of it, by buying new equipment, and maintaining the place like they promise.

I will only suggest however, to perhaps get a new (easier to read) scale since the one they have doesn't seem to work...? it will really encourage a lot of us, but either way, really recommend <3

Went here for a day pass. A little pricey at $20. Facility is clean with a lot of equipment. Only downside is there aren't a lot of plates spread around the floor and no locker rooms. There is a really nice smoothie/snack bar. Got a cookies and cream protein smoothie- gal behind the counter was kind enough to give me a calorie and macro count.

Save yourself a scam and avoid this place. Horrible service, NO customer support available, and I was lied to. I’m a sales guy, I get it they need to make money. But the way they go about it is what we call a SCAM. Go find out for yourself if you don’t believe me. The manager doesn’t even seem like she’s qualified to be a manager considering she keeps referring me to some team email instead of handling it herself and honoring her employees mess up by lying to us. I’ve traveled the US not one gym has ever been this bad. Go to THE GYM, it’s 2 mins away and by far better!

The men's bathroom urinal is broken again and has been for over two months.. it was broken and the last legends location which never got fixed.. equipment is decent nothing special.. the leather on the leg equipment is ripped and beat up. You pay 10 bucks extra a month for " maintaince " but the equipment never gets maintained. They would rather put up cages than fix the issues.. for the price you pay here you can go to a better gym with stuff that actually works. Also they layout of the gym is something else. You have 4 different chest areas, not sure how hard it is to group machines together that work tjr same muscle groups.. this gym had potential but it seems like a quick money grab for the owner. The paper towel dispensers are always empty.. there are plenty of better gyms in the desert. Save your money and go where they take care of the gym

Legends Barbell is a good gym with great equipment but the pro membership is a complete sham. They promise guest privileges but every time I brought a guest it took at least 5-15 minutes to check him in. They don’t keep guest waivers on file so you have to go through the long process EVERY TIME. Not worth it. I switched to The Gym HD down the street when I realized how poor the Legends customer service was.

Overall: Great gym for lifting and some cardio. Lacking some typical commercial gym amenities.
Pros: All the equipment you could want plenty of machines so you rarely have to wait to do an exercise. Super cool all black aesthetic. Good pricing in my opinion.
Cons: Bathrooms are small and cramped no real locker room or showers. No extra amenities. Roughly 20% of the gym is closed off for “CrossFit” including all of the rowers.
Suggestions: Move some of the rowers out of the CrossFit area so they can be used during classes. Invest in a sauna some good prebuilt ones out there. Maybe a body fat measuring device of some type.

A few problems with this gym 1 they bait n switch you. Their website says $25no extra fees or hassle then when you sign up they want an extra $10 per month for future upgrades. And by the way they are doing construction renovations. And I park in the first spot and get a 9 inch construction nail that blows my tire out. When I speak to the staff they say email corporate we can’t help you. So I email corporate and instead of taking accountability they say there’s no proof it came from any of their workers. And from the picture you can see this is the type of nails they would be using! Major fail legends! The only thing you will be legends about is not being right with your clients!

The staff are extremely rude and serious. If you become a member they don’t mention that you can’t become a guest there after cancellation. They need more cleaning more frequently.
