I hit 25 classes with LFBA today, and SJ Berryessa has been my second home for the past two months. As a person with a bigger body mass and an ankle injury, each instructor has been encouraging and accommodating, providing me with corrections and modifications while I get stronger. I leave each class feeling more confident and motivated, especially seeing improvements in my form and endurance.
LFBA is the place to get an amazing total body workout while also being gentle on the joints (and being hyped by great music). The instructors and attendees also inspire me to challenge my body in ways I didn’t know were possible!

I tried this studio and at least 20 other studios via ClassPass until I realized this one was my absolute favorite. The studio is small but very efficient, there's no frills but I actually prefer it that way so you can focus on the workout. It's only 10 mins away from home and the location always has parking right out in front. Every class I've had here with multiple different teachers were really great, well instructed and left me super sore the following days just how I wanted to feel! I always feel like my money is worth it coming to any LFBA location.

I absolutely loved my first Lagree class at LFBA Berryessa! The studio is super clean, well-organized, and the energy is amazing from the moment you walk in. The instructor was incredibly encouraging — she explained every move clearly, adjusted our form when needed, and kept the class challenging but motivating throughout.
The workout itself was intense in the best way possible — low-impact but high-burn! My legs and core were definitely shaking by the end, and I could feel how effective every movement was. It’s such a great mix of strength, endurance, and control.

Absolutely love LFBA! I started Lagree a month ago and have been hooked ever since. You really can't go wrong with any of the instructors. They're all truly amazing! My first class was definitely hard but i felt motivated by the instructor to keep coming back & now i’m excited to go to each class! i’m definitely noticing a change in my balance & overall strength! All the instructors are very kind & motivating, Nicolina is who’s class i’ve been mainly going to & she is 10/10!!! She helps with keeping energy up as well as helping making sure we’re in the correct position! I’m pretty short but I always manage to keep up by getting help from her to adjust my position for my height! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

I have joined LFBA for over a month now, and it has been such a refreshing change from my regular gym routine! The workouts are the perfect combination of strength, endurance, and core focus — all done on the Megaformer, which adds a whole new level of challenge.
All the instructors are incredibly motivational and really know how to guide you through each exercise with the right form and intensity. Just when you think you can’t hold a move any longer, they encourage you to dig deep and push through. You leave class feeling accomplished — and sore in the best way!
Also, music playlist? On point. It keeps the energy high and helps power us through those slow, controlled movements. If you’re looking for a fun, effective, and totally different kind of workout, I highly recommend giving LFBA a try!

I’ve attended about 6 classes at LFBA and I think it’s safe to say that I absolutely love and enjoy lagree! I don’t have too much experience using a reformer or mega reformer, but the transition into getting the hang of things was smooth and all of the instructors have been extremely helpful and supportive. I’ve only taken classes led by Nicolina, Emily, and Nikki so far but all three of them are so friendly and supportive in their respective classes! I actually just took a second class with Emily and I was actually sweating this class, so I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of the micro adjustments that help improve the movements for a better burn. I highly recommend trying a class out, the atmosphere is very welcoming and it’s easy to learn from others in class as well!

I started doing lagree almost 2 months ago and I’ve taken 17 classes so far. At first, I was very intimidated and scared to try it but I’ve loved my experience so far and I definitely feel stronger than before! Don’t get me wrong, the classes are still challenging every time I take one, but it’s such a good workout in my opinion. All of the instructors are so nice and very helpful showing you how to use the machine and how to do the different moves. They’re also very motivating during class and I personally love their music playlists. I’ve only gone to the Berryessa location so far, but I really like it and plan on continuing their workouts!

I've loved my experience at LFBA so far! Studio is on the smaller side but there's a few locations so getting a spot in a class is fairly easy. Plenty of parking and class starts and ends on time (plus or minutes three minutes tops). I've taken 12 classes so far and can feel myself getting stronger already!

A family member recommended LFBA to me and I was actually unfamiliar with what lagree was. I had tried reformer pilates before and enjoyed it. I learned that lagree uses a similar type of machine but it’s a little different. The pacing is much slower and SO challenging. The shakes are real!
The first class I ever took was with Nicolina and I’m so glad it was! She has definitely become my favorite! I felt very welcomed and put as ease as she explained everything very concisely. She’s also very motivating. The 40 minutes go by quickly but it’s a non stop workout. I feel a little bit stronger each time and am looking forward to the next class! Highly recommend this great little studio!

I’m brand new to Lagree (just completed my fifth class), and it’s definitely been a challenge—but in the best way. I've never been able to push myself like I can with Lagree and I can tell it'll be transformative. If you try it out, please don't get discouraged after the first class!! Keep going and you'll see yourself improve faster than you'd expect.
The studio has such a supportive vibe, and there have been people at all different levels in every class. The instructors are awesome at pushing you while still making sure you're safe. Leslie, Judith, and Vivian have been especially great—super welcoming, encouraging, and knowledgable! I already feel stronger after just a few classes, and I’m excited to keep going. I've taken a total of 6 classes with them now, and started off as a complete beginner to using machines for Pilates. I was a little clumsy at first, but LFBA still felt so accessible and beginner-friendly comparatively to other pilates studios I've tried. I've trained mostly with Blenda and Tim, they're both so amazing and radiate the kind of positive and encouraging vibes I need to improve my confidence, and the instructions they provide are so clear and helpful to make sure I maximize the most of my workout!

Lagree is a low impact, high intensity class which is great for me since I'm still 6 months into recovering from a grade 3 ankle sprain.

I’m slowly trying to get back into working out regularly, and I appreciate that during each class the instructors are there to help guide you and encourage you. The studio is easy to get to, lots of parking and it’s clean! It feels great to be able to notice small improvements with my strength after each class. Absolutely loved my session with Job today. I’ve been coming to Lagree on & off for a while now- and it’s definitely whipped me back into shape. All instructors have been great so far but my class today with Job specifically was phenomenal.
He really paid attention to my form- which I struggle with. He kept coming back to me and positioning me. I noticed he spent a good amount of time walking around the room and making sure everyone was getting the best work-out. He didn’t just stay in a corner and yell out next steps- he physically helped me get into the perfect form.
This means a lot for me because I know that is hard to balance with a full class- but also shows me he truly cares as an instructor. On top of that his energy was great & consistent. Definitely will try to optimize for more classes with him. (:

LFBA is the cutest studio! It’s a small class (10 machines), so instructors pay great attention to you. I’ve been to so
any fitness studios where they just tell you to watch the person infront of you if you’re new. LFBA definitely does not do that! The instructors here are so attentive and also give helpful descriptive language for poses. They make proper and safe adjustments when necessary as well.
There are a ton of class times to accommodate everybody’s schedule. Classes are short (40 mins), so it’s easy to squeeze one in during a lunch break. It’s also the hardest 40 minutes of your life from start to end, so it’s an awesome workout!
I recommend LFBA to everybody. It is so beginner friendly and everyone embraces the shake. You’ll experience a shake you’ve never felt before but it gets addictive very quickly. :)

Huge fan of this studio! I usually attend Nicolina's class and love the way she breaks down the moves to ensure proper form and motivates the class so much that the energy overflows in to the rest of my day. I've been intimated to try lagree for the many years I've lived in this neighborhood but thanks to a fellow mom of young kids, I gave it a try and I'm glad I did! The instructors are welcoming and helpful. I've tried classes taught by Ger, Vivian, Nicolina, Wendy, Amy, Cynthia, Leslie and Judith and they all maintain a great LFBA standard to get your heart rate up and booty burning. From newbies to veterans, it's a good vibe and I love that the classes are a short 40-min to get you back to your busy schedule. Highly recommend!

I came in for the first time after not working out for over two years and the instructor Judith was super helpful. I didn’t feel awkward or behind because there was a lot of motivation to keep going and not straining yourself. I continued the classes and now I can’t stop coming in! The community is super nice and for those looking to start, definitely try this place out! You can go at your own pace for the movements. I continue to take breaks when it gets too much and there’s no shame, they instead encourage you that it’s okay to take breaks. But I definitely feel myself getting stronger :) I really enjoyed Cynthia and Tim’s classes and can’t wait to take a class with each instructor as they each have different pacing/routines. But definitely work all areas of the body! 💪🏼

I first heard about LFBA from a friend’s IG story. I was intrigued since I’ve been looking for a workout class that was right for me. I saw reels on LFBA’s IG which inspired me to sign up for the intro promo, first class for $25 + free grip socks.
My first class was tough, but well worth it! I was hella sore, but hey that just means it working. I’ve taken 6 classes within the past 6 weeks. Each class is tough, yesss the shakes are real, but all of the instructors are helpful and supportive. Shoutout to the instructors I’ve had so far — Leslie, Judith, and Michele.
I’m still new to this and by no means an expert, but I recommend taking an intro class to see if Lagree is right for you!

I've been taking classes at LFBA for about 2 months now, at both San Jose and the Fremont locations. I enjoy classes with them equally! Even though the SJ location is fairly small compared to the Fremont location, the LFBA team did a phenomenal job of maximizing the SJ space without making it feel stuffy or cramped! In terms of class curriculum, Lagree has not gotten any easier lol. I feel myself getting stronger, and yet somehow the classes are continuously challenging. But I love it; there's a reason I keep coming back! I've also brought a few friends to try Lagree at LFBA now, and it's always fun to see their minds blown with how tough it can be to move soooo slowly :D

This studio has been amazing! Nancy and Vivian are my absolute favorite trainers so far!! The workouts are tough, but they’re so worth it. I first tried LFBA because a friend was an instructor. I’ve done lagree elsewhere and know how challenging it is. I’ve had Amy, Pam, Judith, and Leslie as instructors. I can say that they are truly so good and helpful. They are also kind. I feel like I go into each class feeling like I have imposter syndrome but they don’t make me feel like I’m totally doing everything incorrectly. It’s so clean, the ambiance is very nice, and I love their music.
I’ve completed classes with Nicolina, Job, and Leslie. They’re all amazing! I was anxious that I wouldn’t be able to repeat the instructors I like (as I’m particular) but there’s always openings. It also doesn’t matter because they’re all great trainers.
I used to do 12 years of taekwondo and wanted to begin another fitness journey. I thought getting kicked in the head was hard… these classes are INTENSE! But I always leave with a sense of achievement and ready to start my day! Will be continuing next month!

I’ve went to a couple classes here and I can affirm the instructor Nancy is the reason why I kept coming! She has always been so welcoming and encouraging despite how novice I was/am at lagree. The workout itself is always challenging and to have someone encourage you throughout the difficulty makes the experience all the more worth it. The 40 minute workout sounds like a long time, but all the exercises are slow movements and fast transitions so the time flies. The classes are definitely challenging, but still friendly for beginners. There are a limited number of spots available and classes fill up very quickly. Pre-COVID, I was at one of my best levels of fitness since high school. During COVID, however, I really struggled to keep that up, and eventually, let it go. After COVID, I tried getting back into things, and just couldn’t seem to get anything to stick. Then, I found LFBA San Jose. The staff has been incredibly encouraging, patient, and supportive as I’ve restarted my fitness journey. I am encouraged to ask for help with complex moves or for accommodations if my strength is still building to a move. I feel accomplished after each class, and I can feel my body getting stronger each week. The 40 min class makes it so easy to fit into my schedule and the 6:10 am class makes it easy for me to get in a workout before work. The studio is clean, and the equipment is well kept. Love coming to this studio! All the instructors have been so motivating and accommodating (especially with my back injury). My first class here was with Jeanette and she offered some good tips and modifications to not put more strain in my back. These classes may seem easy but they’re definitely not! I’m always surprised how much I sweat through them. Happy to say I’ve been coming here consistently and it truly doesn’t disappoint!

I am new to lagree and was nervous when I first walked in but the instructor was all super friendly and encouraging! I enjoyed my first class so I purchased the first month trial they offered. The workout is definitely challenging itself but I always walked out feeling better and stronger! I highly recommend this studio and don’t hesitate to try lagree!

I stopped going to the gym to lift weights and have been taking hot yoga classes regularly and consistently over the last 2 years. I love yoga but I was looking for something to supplement to get stronger without having to go back to the gym. I live right down the street from LFBA and so it was perfect!
I'm glad that lagree is known to be tougher and more intense than pilates, I say with confidence that lagree is one of the hardest things I've ever tried but I love it. It's VERY intense and I've never been so humbled.
The first few classes can be tricky to follow, so if you're taking a class for the first time then REALLY take a beginner class and not an All Levels class. But with that, the instructors are all great and super helpful. I'm a fan of the hands-on approach for form correction. I also LOVE that every class, even with the same instructors, are different so it never gets boring!
Overall, I'm a huge fan of LFBA and the lagree method overall. My only gripe is the music can be better but that's all lol!

I love coming to LFBA studios! I have taken 5+ classes at their Fremont and San Jose location now. The instructors are super experienced and have a clear routine for every single session. They also guide you through exercises, correct your form, and really push you. I've taken megaformer classes through Solidcore studios before, but my favorite has to be at LFBA.

LFBA San Jose is a game-changer! After 7 classes and a trial session, I'm amazed at the results. The instructors are exceptional, encouraging and give great instruction flows. Lagree is transformative and safe. I've tried various fitness programs in the past, but nothing has sculpted and toned my body like Lagree. It’s definitely not Pilates, it’s lagree 😆
When I first tried Lagree I was humbled, it definitely took a few classes before I really liked it. I’m a fan of being in the gym and lifting weights and lagree is great for working toning, core strength, time under tension! I’ve even kinda started using the 4 count in the gym.
My favorite class is FLEX with Sharon bc it’s all upper body!!

I’ve been to the Fundamental classes with Rochelle and Sharon a few times and I gotta say they’re very good instructors! The classes are fun and the instructors always make sure that your forms are correct and that you’re catching up with the class. I feel toned and see the clear benefits of Pilates now. I always wanted to try reformer pilates and found LFBA while on social media. I tried their first free class and really enjoyed the experience. I came a few minutes early like the website says to before your first class so that the instructor can go over the reformer with you. Although it is a 40 minute workout, the instructors keep you motivated and push you until the very end. I enjoyed my first class and wanted to continue, so I purchased the first month trial that they offer. After every class, I can say that I am becoming more and more comfortable with the reformer/moves and stronger in my body. Each instructor has their own style and personality so it’s refreshing to experience and learn something new every time I go. I highly recommend anyone who wants to try lagree to LFBA!
