I’ve been a longtime member of Lifesport Fitness. I had back pain for a few years so I tried chiropractors and physical therapy but nothing worked. First I was a bootcamp client of Lifesport and decided to try the semi personal training with Becky. Becky designed a personal program that helped strengthen my core and relieve my pain. After a year of training I feel stronger and my back pain has improved. The support you get from Becky and her team is the best. I highly recommend Life Sport Fitness!!

I wanted to write this review because I am very happy with my decision to join LifeSport Fitness 4 months ago. I had been a member of big box gyms for decades but tried this gym after a recommendation from a friend. What I wanted: (1) a personalized strength program that worked alongside my health issues (herniated disc a year ago, carpal tunnel, forearm tendonitis); (2) exercises to help get me stronger specifically as a rower, esp given my injuries; (3) knowledgeable, understanding trainers who could modify plans on the spot if I came in with aches/pains; (4) a flexible schedule; (5) some way to feel accountable to come to class; (6) cost effectiveness in a semi-private setting, and (7) a more holistic approach to fitness. My list was long but LifeSport Fitness actually checked all the boxes! I also appreciate Becky's informative weekly newsletter and workshops on aging, stretching, nutrition or other health topics. Just recently, I signed up for the 8-wk nutrition course, and already I have made some important revelations about my relationship w food. Thank you Becky and team. My physical therapist recommended I work with Becky after I completed a treatment program following lower back surgery. Becky knew exactly what I needed, we set goals, and she developed a personalized, semi-private training program focused on improving balance, building strength, and increasing flexibility. This is a great program especially for an older guy like me (65). Becky has a lot of experience working with my age group and with all the wear and tear from sports and life, she knew how to best set up a program to maximize conditioning given my set of circumstances. For example, I am a candidate for total shoulder replacement. I was going in twice a year to get cortisone shots. I started my program in April of this year and her work with me has strengthened the muscle group, increased range of motion and reduced pain by 90% (no shots at all!). As I age, I know it is important to build my core strength having watched my parents struggle as they got older. The results I have achieved with LifeSport Fitness have been amazing.

I have been working out at Life Sport for 2 years now and find the workouts challenging and the environment fun. You get a new program every 4 weeks, so you are constantly changing things up and working different muscle groups. I like the semi private personal training, as you get attention to make sure you're doing the exercises correctly and don't hurt yourself. Other places don't pay attention to form so much.

It is my very great pleasure to give Life Sport Fitness a full five star rating. I am grateful to have been recommended to this group and in particular to the teacher Becky Williamson. Becky is a Master of Science and published author of 6 Rules of Fitness For Life. Her knowledge of our bone and muscle structure provides us with a safe, thorough and beneficial workout.
I am surely one of Becky's oldest students and, additionally I have had serious back surgery. In my semi-private, once-weekly schedule Becky carefully tailors my workout to accommodate my specific needs. The semi-private work-out changes monthly so it remains interesting. All the elements of exercise are incorporated into our individual plans such as Pilates, cardio and muscle building. At the end of each session my body says "Thank you!"
Mid-week students are able to log on to a down-loaded workout and exercise at home.
LifeSport Fitness offers a variety of work-out programs. You will be sure to find a program that suits your time and pocketbook as I did.
The facility is always fresh and clean and air conditioned. For the cardio, we have the option of the outdoors.

I've been working out with lifeSport Fitness since 2016. I chose lifeSport and have stuck with it because Becky is able to customize my workout around some recurring knee and shoulder issues. For me, Life Sport Fitness has been life changing! I have chronic back and neck problems from old injuries, and previously every time that I have worked out with a trainer I have ended up injured, resulting in setbacks, frustration, and ultimately stopping my strength training workouts.
With Life Sport Fitness my experience has been completely different. After a careful assessment of my abilities and goals, Becky crafted a program tailored to my needs, always within my abilities and with just the right amount of challenge to create progress. If at any time an exercise hasn’t felt right, Becky and her knowledgeable team have been quick to offer alternatives that work for me. Two years later I am so much stronger, I can do things I wasn’t able to do before, and I have had NO injuries. Many of my chronic aches and pains have disappeared now that my back and core are stronger, and I feel great!

I’ve been a LifeSport a fitness member for many years. What keeps me there is Becky Williamson - she is knowledgeable, personable and committed to her client’s fitness success. I do small group training twice a week and the personalized program changes every 4 weeks so I am always challenging my body. I love coming to Becky because I get stronger. Strength training with cardio helps me loose a little weight, feel strong when carrying loads, and bound up stairs. Becky is a great coach; she is cheerful, inclusive, and dedicated. She monitors me to make sure moves are done correctly and motivates me to keep going. She understands body movement and how to adjust a workout for injury, knee/shoulder pain, etc. Other folks working out are friendly. Studio is clean, spacious, and well equipped.

I love working out with Becky and her trainers! Becky is SO knowledgeable - you know you are in good hands and as an 'older' adult that is very important to me. Becky also has the experience and wisdom from being in the business for a long time. At 8:30 on a Monday morning it is easy to hit snooze, but I always resist the temptation knowing how much better I feel after a session with Becky.

After a year and half of not working out consistently, lifeSport Fitness was the perfect way to get back to it! I have worked with Becky and Lifesport Fitness on and off for about 10 years. I've done bootcamp and I am currently a personal training client. Becky has helped me understand so much more about the needs of my body, both in terms of fitness and nutrition. In addition, Becky has been a huge help with my rehab from few non exercise related injuries over the years. Even when I had to take a hiatus due to surgery, Becky checked in with me every few weeks to see how I was recovering. I have never really enjoyed exercise that much but Becky and her trainers make it a fun and comfortable experience. I know that they care about my health and my wellbeing. I have been suffering with joint and spinal issues from a relatively young age and with time I realized I needed a program to build my strength and manage my symptoms for a better quality of life. I joined lifeSport Fitness 3 months ago and Becky’s personalized program has helped to strengthen the areas around the problem joint areas and delayed the need for a shot required for pain management. She regularly monitored how I responded to certain exercise and tweaked them to ensure they don’t cause discomfort or make my symptoms worse. I truly believe one of the goals of personal training is beyond losing weight or inches. I started with Becky at lifeSport Fitness shortly before the pandemic began. I was immediately impressed with Becky's approach to understanding my fitness goals while taking into account past injuries and trouble spots (past knee/shoulder surgeries and back problems). She tailored my workout plans to focus on various muscle sets including core strength and flexibility work. She adjusted the plans monthly to keep them fresh and balanced, introducing different equipment (TRX, flex bands, weights) and combination movements. Throughout the workouts, Becky would offer encouragement, correct/adjust as needed, and push me to do more. I especially liked the cardio interval training at the end of each workout. Semi-private workout sessions took place with 1-3 other participants, each of us having our own personalized workout plan. During the pandemic when gyms were closed, we used the outdoor space adjacent to her studio which was covered and well-lighted. My conditioning and strength levels are the highest they've been in over 10 years, all due to Becky and her fitness program. I have also learned a ton from Becky and her training staff that will benefit me in years to come. I would strongly recommend lifeSport Fitness to anyone looking for structure and balance in their workouts while in a safe, judgement-free, and encouraging environment.

I joined Becky and her team before Covid began and was getting amazing results with her semi private training in her studio! What shelter in place happened, after a month break, I signed up for her virtual Boot Camp. This was a great decision! Such a great workout!
Becky has offered so much for her clients during this pandemic. And her online virtual classes are just as good as being there in person during this time.
Her small studio ensures that you get very personal attention with only a couple clients in at a time. Lots of opportunities to have your own space and work at your own pace. And trainers are all wonderful at making accommodations when certain exercises don’t feel right for your body. They will work with you until you get it!

I’ve been working out with Becky in her semi-private sessions for a year now and my fitness levels are better than ever! Six months into training with her, my husband and I did a gruelling 4 day hike in Patagonia and I was astounded by how how much stamina I had developed to endure hours of hiking with a heavy backpack! Becky’s workout sessions are carefully designed to address your specific trouble zones as well as keep an eye on your weak spots to prevent risk of injury. Simply awesome. For real results, motivation, AND a positive, supportive environment, Life Sport Fitness' camps are the ultimate. I know this sounds gushy, but I can't help it. In 40+ years I have never stuck with any fitness plan, and while I'm still a short-timer here, I have over two months under my belt (a record for me). I started with a Transformation Challenge program, and decided to continue with the "Fit and Fab" over 40's camp two days a week. So far so good, and it's all because of Becky and her fantastic program. I feel accountable, in a positive way, because I know that if I miss a day, Becky and my fellow campers will notice and care. I feel enthusiastic about going to camp, even though it's early and I'm definitely not a morning person, because once I am there, it is a GREAT workout, and I feel so good afterward. I'm especially happy when it's over ;) And I see serious results for myself and also among my fellow campers. Becky's workout plans are always varied, so you don't get bored, and they are so effective! In my short time here, I have lost body fat, gained muscle, lost weight, lost inches, and gained the confidence and resolve I needed to carry on and continue placing a priority on my fitness and overall well-being! I recommend Life Sport Fitness camps to anyone who wants to get fit or maintain their fitness. For me, this is a breakthrough! You can work at your own level, as the workouts always have modifications to reduce or increase the intensity. Becky is very experienced and very professional - it's a safe and effective place to get results, whether you are a beginner like me, or a fitness guru yourself ;) Becky is also so attentive to each individual -- instead of feeling like you are in a "class", it feels like you have a personal trainer. About three years ago I had a realization that because of genetics alone I was a ticking time bomb. My mother was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at 40 and had a double by-pass at age 45. High blood pressure is prevalent in my family. With two young children I felt compelled to take better care of myself.
After years of failed attempts at gym memberships, I researched online and found LifeSport Fitness. I tried the one week free trial and was immediately hooked. It was amazing. Becky and crew were welcoming and encouraging. The group of campers is a wide diversity of ages and abilities. The workouts can be tailored to each individual’s strengths and capabilities with high intensity or low impact as needed. I have never felt too slow, too weak or too old. Becky’s investment in all her campers is whole body and mind. You can always ask about specialized exercises to target specific areas of concern and for help with meal plans that assist with weight loss, increased energy & performance.
My results have been amazing. I am healthy; I have energy and stamina and am the fittest I have ever been in my life. I still cannot believe that I am consistently exercising at 6:00 am three times a week! I am fully committed and I continue to be amazed at all the people in my camp and the multitude of success stories including my own.

These classes have taught me a lot about interval training and working out in general. I always end up with more of a workout than I think I am getting and like the ability to find different difficulty levels in each exercise allowing me to tune the workout to my abilities while rehabbing from knee surgery. The hour long workout goes by surprisingly fast- try one.

I NEVER write reviews. But I am writing one for LifeSport Fitness. I cannot say enough great things about this program. Such a supportive, fun environment to enable you to reach your fitness goals. I worked-out with Becky 3 years ago to get in shape for my wedding and after having 2 babies 13 months apart, I headed back to bootcamp about 4 months ago to get back in shape. I have seen amazing results in that short time due to the fun, diverse workouts, nutrition info and supportive environment at LifeSport fitness. Becky took the time to review my nutrition log and give me feedback on changes I could make to get the results I was looking for. Her workouts can be adjusted for any fitness level and are challenging enough to get results. I love that I can go to boot camp and get a balanced, challenging workout without having to put any thought into it!! After accompanying my girlfriend to one of Becky's Saturday morning workouts (where she donated funds from the session to a local charity) I was immediatley hooked. When I hear the word "bootcamp" I think of a drill instructor who is constantly yelling and your whole experience is miserable, but you get results. With Becky the last adjective I would use to describe my experience in her class is horrible. She is supportive, kind and spends time with each person to help them work on their form and encourage them with every exercise performed.
If you're looking for an inspirational, motivating and fun workout experience I would highly recommend LifeSport Fitness. Not only will you enjoy your time with her classes (which are also full of very nice people) but you will see results as well.

I just LOVE Bootcamp! This is the most fun way to exercise ever.
I really felt "pulled together" after just a few weeks. I work harder than I would ever push myself. You really feel strong after just a few weeks. The 6 week transformation challenge really worked. My slacks definitely felt looser after just 6 weeks.

After attending a session with my wife this Summer, I joined Becky's boot camp full-time this Fall. It is a diverse and challenging workout and she and Matt are inspiring and encouraging instructors. In just 2 months I have dropped body fat and weight, improved my strength, stamina, and energy level, and I am eating healthier than ever using Becky's meal plans for guidance. Love lifeSport Fitness and Becky. I've been going to the early morning FitFab boot camp and really like it. I've lost pounds and inches... while having FUN. The 50-minute workouts fly by because Becky mixes things up and makes it interesting (and challenging). Fellow campers are supportive even though we work at varying levels of fitness. There are morning and evening camps, two times and three times per week, downtown and in the suburbs, even a camp for women. With LifeSport Fitness, you get a a challenging but achievable workout in a safe environment with an excellent coach in Becky Williamson, who is knowledgeable, personable, and watchful of her clients to make sure we always use good form. I have been coming to lifeSport boot camps for a few years now, and I can safely say that I am in the best shape of my life! The way these boot camps are taught, I get a better workout than I can by myself in the gym, in less time, and in a way that is a lot of fun.
It's great to have that sense of accountability that comes from working out with others in a group situation, it helps me to push myself (we push one another) to heights that I could not achieve alone.
Every session is different set of exercises that keeps you from getting stuck in a routine, and by the end of the hour, I feel totally spent and energized at the same time. It's awesome!
