I was hesitant to come here after previous owner had left. After a meet n greet with Richard(owner) and Ms. Christina, I decided to give it a try. It will be 1 year this October that my 2 children had been coming consistently once a week every week. My son has left sided stiffness so he needed special accommodations and Christina is so patient with him. Richard is very accommodating to schedule and rescheduling. We all love Ms. Christina!!! What's even more amazing is having Christina's son as an instructor also! They're amazing! My 8 and 10 years old are so good at not only swimming but also safety and perfecting swim techniques. 2025: We are back again this year to get our daughter more swim lessons from this amazing place. I really can't rave about this place enough. My daughter loves going here and we love having her go here and learn how to swim form these amazing instructors. This year we are working with one of their sons and he is absolutely amazing with the kids!. We are definitely returning clients! P.s my daughter is doing absolutely so great with her swimming. Was told she is ahead for her age. We are so happy and proud. We unfortunately went a little late last year then had to take a break but Im Glad we are back to finish it up this year:)

We recently moved to the area and enrolled all three of my boys at Little Otters Swim School, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the instructors here. My youngest was just four years old and couldn’t swim at all—within two lessons, he was swimming confidently!

My eight-year-old is on the spectrum, and Miss Christina has been absolutely amazing with him. She handles his challenging behaviors with such patience, keeps him engaged, and has helped him become stronger and more confident in the water. We’re even considering moving him up to the next level soon.

The entire staff is fantastic with the kids, there are two pools so you can do multiple kids at the same time and the environment is so welcoming and positive. It’s clear they truly care about each child’s progress and comfort. Highly recommend Little Otters to any family looking for patient, skilled, and encouraging swim instruction!

We found this school on Google, booked 10 sessions for summer, and can only highly recommend this awesome facility. The customer service was amazing, with all questions answered way before we started. The place is equipped great for the lessons, as well as for families with kids waiting for the session to finish. My 9 year old boy started as a beginner with some self-taught skills, and in the middle of this journey was promoted to the next level, and in 2 more lessons he was already in the advanced tier. His natural love for swimming flourished under the sensitive guidance of the instructors. And my 4 year old has been exposed to water very little and was quite wary of being inside a large reservoir. Nevertheless, the teachers found an individual approach, and by end of our lessons he could go underwater in the deep and even swim with his face submerged. He wants to dive in the bathtub now all the time lol. Special thanks to Ms. Ivy, Mr. Seth and Ms. Caprice, and to the owners of course! My kids had fun in the swimming pool, were entertained while waiting with different toys and activities, and even an exotic pet they could observe, they got a prize every time they completed a lesson, and they keep on asking to come back. We are very satisfied, and are planning to resume the lessons on the constant basis.

We love Little Otter Swim School! My 7 year old daughter started here in May. Our first month Miss Caprisse and Miss Ivy were our instructors and they were amazing. They both engaged, encouraged and motivated her to keep trying. The last couple of months we have been with Miss Christina and she is so amazing, patient, and works so well with my daughter’s ADHD and sensory issues. My daughter and I have been attending little otters swim school for the last three weeks, and have had such a great experience. We are both sensitive to water in our ears and were hesitant to learn to swim. Instructor Christina is my instructor and she has been amazing. Three sessions in, and she has helped me overcome my fear of water and uncomfortableness of being underwater. With her patience and encouragement, I am now excited to keep learning. Likewise, my daughter’s instructor has given her such a boost of confidence in her abilities that she also wants to challenge herself to keep going. We are very happy with our experience so far! My 2 year old daughter is learning quickly and gaining a lot of confidence in the water. The instructors are all very kind and so good with kids! Hope does a fantastic job with my daughter and is incredibly patient with her. Tati (Tatiana) has also worked with my daughter and did such a great job during her lesson! I appreciate that all of the instructors use similar words/language in their teachings, which makes things consistent even if we go at a different time or have a different instructor. We are almost done with our first 8 lessons and plan to continue. Swim lessons are worth every penny for safety and peace of mind. My son was fearful of the water and coukd not swim at all 6 seasons with Christina he is jumping into the deep end and swimming the length of the pool. Her dedication and patience with my son has made a world of difference. We originally booked so he could get comfortable before our vacation. Littler Otters & Ms. Christina are amazing! We are a few classes in and both my kids have made HUGE improvements. I think what sets Little Otters and specifically Ms. Christina apart from other swim classes we have attempted is her personalized approach to each student. She encourages both my kids and makes learning fun with a sense of ease in her approach. She reminds them why they are learning certain techniques for water safety. Both my kids are nervous with learning how to swim and from a different swim class we tried they both refused to attempt learning again. Based on a different swim class we tried a few years ago both kids were terrified from the fast-paced approach, that all kids will learn at the same pace. Hence why I waited so long to approach another swim class. My only regret is not trying Little Otters sooner. Prior to coming my 5-year-old would not step foot in a pool unless it was sitting on the 1st step of a pool with her puddle jumper. She is now learning techniques and getting comfortable with being in the water. She actually looks forward to swimming class, which I honestly thought she would do the 1st class and say she quit. She loves it and is so proud of herself after she is done.

My son on the other hand would get in the pool but was fearful of floating and trying any techniques. He has really done 180 in his first few classes. Learning breath control and floating. He was traumatized from the last swim class we tried and really didn't want to try this out. However, his first class he got in no problem and looks forward to coming back.

If you made it this far give them a try, you won't regret it!

We have been at Little Otter Swim school for about month / month and a half now. Both my children love it. First there is a play area / stickers / bubbles/ turtle that my other child can be entertained while the other sibling swims.

Ms. Caprise / Capreece / Caprese (apologies if I misspelled) is extremely gentle and patient with my kids. She is knowledgeable in swimming and makes it fun for my children to come back to swimming school every week.

Incredible experience! My six year old son has special needs, and needs a lot of extra support. He never has been able to participate in an activity individually, without mom or dad holding his hand. To get to watch my son swim with Mrs.Christina without us, brought me to tears. I’ve never seen my son enjoy anything as much as his swim lesson, he was smiling and laughing hysterically. My son has severe autism and water has always terrified me, we avoid it at all costs- my son has no safety awareness, elopes, and is non verbal. Little Otters Swim School provides a safe space enclosed area and one on one lesson, that’s super inclusive with sensory friendly lights and sound options. Christina treated my son like family, and was so encouraging. I’m so beyond grateful for this opportunity. My son (5) has loved the water his entire life. We naively thought that we could teach him the basics of swimming, since my husband and I both know how to swim. We were wrong! We tried teaching him how to control his breathe, float, etc., but he never learned the skills and did not progress. We found Little Otter Swim School after researching several companies. I liked the idea of a heated outdoor pool and 1:1 lessons, plus they had availability in the evenings which worked for our busy schedule. We were amazed how much my son learned from his very first visit! Christina is so patient and kind and my son loves her. Highly recommend this swim school! We had a scary bad experience with lessons at a different school that made my child afraid to be in the water with an instructor. Ms. Christina is amazing. She is warm and kind, lets the child lead and never pushes, builds trust quickly and makes sure they feel safe. The results are incredible. She made more progress with my child in one lesson than two months at the other school. My kid develops new skills in every visit and loves every class. The tent is great for winter lessons. Christina has gone above and beyond to not only make Jason comfortable, but myself as well. Jason has sensory issue and also had a fear of the big pools which prevented us from teaching him how to swim. We have completed his first week and I’m happy to say he is over this fear and is excelling quite fast. Her own story and her experience gives her the tools to show Jason how to use them himself. It’s exciting to see him excited and I am so happy to have found them. We've had about 3 or 4 swim lessons. My son (2) is very comfortable in the water, but he lacks the basics. Christina helps get him more comfortable and helps build those basics. My son is also not used to taking instruction from strangers, he definitely tests Christina, but she rises to the challenge. I'm glad I chose private lessons because he would definitely be distracted in a group. I would also recommend consistent lessons...We've had to reschedule a few times and each time my son requires reacquaintance with the instructor.

From the 1st lesson my daughter has loved the swim couches. They have taught my 2 year old how to kick her feet, blow bubble, float and now trying to get her to swim on her own! Everyone here is so amazing and very good with the kids the work with!

I’m so glad I found Little Otters. It is definitely on the less expensive side when it comes to swim classes. The swim instructors are so sweet and give off such a welcoming experience which makes it easier on little ones who may be nervous about swim classes. From the first swim lesson my son was taught how not to breathe under water and to float. My son is very active and gets overly excited… the team was very good at regaining his attention and helping him focus on the task being given. We have had 3 (40) minute sessions and now he has the capability to swim under water like a frog for a good 5-7 seconds. He loves his swim teachers so much they are so sweet. My son was so fearful of water.
