The Lompoc Family YMCA is a nonprofit, health and wellness center offering child care, summer camp, youth activities and programs, swimming, youth and adult sports, and play time. The Y offers educational and leadership development activities for children and teens. The fitness facility for adults, families and seniors consists of a gym, cardio and weight rooms, group exercise classes such as yoga, and personal training.
The Y is community-centered, connecting people of all ages and backgrounds to bridge the gaps in each communities’ needs, and organize grassroots efforts to influence public policy around social issues, including child welfare, education and public health. Members join, advocate, volunteer and donate.

W gym fr fr I like the teen center they have and the basketball area were I can play volleyball. They also have free wifi 😜 and it’s free for me too!

L gym they made a new rule where I can’t wear jeans any more and they made me wear sweats that where really skinny and I felt uncomfortable in and had no style at this point I’m moving to planet fitness

My favorite gym in town! They have a great free weights area with dumbbells up to 120 lbs, all 3 main angles of barbell benches, a few adjustable benches and the right amount of machines/cardio stations to get a great workout in. The facility is always clean and the staff has always been friendly. It doesn't get crowded at all during the day until around 4pm. Great place overall, would definitely recommend to all in town.

Very nice gym but the hours are not set up for people who have full time jobs and commute. The gym is closed during all the hours that our family has time off. We would have a family membership but will have to take our business elsewhere due to the inconvenient hours.

When coming into the YMCA In Lompoc I was very much pleased with the helpfulness, kindness, and attention I got from Diana Garcia. She really helped me feel comfortable with coming into work out. I was interested in classes and she was really proactive on giving me the information I needed. She encouraged me to try body pump for a good full body workout I’m really excited to attend in the near future. Thank you so much for all your help!

Very friendly staff especially Cameron and Diana, they are very helpful. Been coming here for some time now and is one of the better gyms in Lompoc that is not congested.

Pretty nice YMCA. The weightroom was on the small side, only one squat rack (and a Smith machine) and one flat barbell bench. That could be a problem if it was busy but it was nearly empty on a weekday afternoon. Dumbbells went up to 100lbs.
The plates were kind of a mess with different plates stacked haphazardly throughout the room, I tried to be part of the solution by putting my plates back where I thought they should go but I spent a good portion of my workout hunting for plates. They do have old fashioned Troy iron plates which look and sound cooler to me than the rubber-coated or composite plates you see in most commercial gyms.
They also have a sauna which I didn't use this time but is a nice feature.
