Pam has an extremely wide breadth of knowledge when it comes to the body and what physical exercise and other alternatives are appropriate for developing and maintaining a healthy body. I have been going to Pam for over 15 years and she has always provided positive direction and results.

Pam’s knowledge and experience has been invaluable in helping me with strength and muscle training for my fibromyalgia. In addition, she educated me how to perform exercises while protecting my back and spine. An added bonus was her balance exercises and training for those with osteopenia and osteoporosis. She also works with cancer patients and disabled patients or just patients who want to be educated on muscle and weight training. I would recommend her highly!

Pam has turned out to be so much more than I had expected in a personal trainer. She’s super knowledgeable, she’s always professional, and she’s a great teacher. Her own personal commitment to fitness and her dedication to teaching is always inspiring. It’s been a pleasure.

I had never worked with a personal trainer before Pam. I had a few years of accumulating issues (3 surgeries, 3 bike crashes with injuries) and bit by bit my body had locked up in more ways than I realized. I had ended my late 40's in some of the best health of my life, and then found myself in my early-fifties feeling like my body had completely failed me. I was still very motivated to exercise, yet I was in so much pain and could not figure out how to make progress. Pam's credentials sounded like what I might need, and I signed up. At the time of this review, I've been working with Pam for just 5 months and I am so amazed at and grateful for the progress she has helped me achieve. From the very beginning, she has been able to assess how my body was working (or in most cases not working properly) and has methodically taken me through how to restore my former mobility. Honestly, if we were not able to make any further progress I would be grateful for what I have already achieved, but I know Pam is still working through a program to give me even greater restoration. If you have had injuries and/or surgeries, especially in later years, it is so important that we help our bodies recover properly. While I wish I had this sort of guidance and intervention several years ago, I'm just so thankful I have it now. I can't think of a better investment in my health and well-being. What Pam has given back to me in terms of being able to be confident in my body again is just an amazing gift.

Just wanted to say thank you. I just finished a 10 wk session with Pam. She addressed all my concerns. And gave me a routine that has helped me with increasing flexibility and suggestions for improving my arthritis, and ideas to loose weight.

Pam is simply the BEST! Her knowledge and approach can't be beat and she helped transform my body and mindset about working out. I worked with Pam for 20 sessions and learned more than I ever expected about fitness, mind-body connection, nutrition and how weight training can truly benefit my body and quality of life. I've never been much of a gym person and the weight room has always been very intimidating. She helped me build strong foundational knowledge of what to do as well as how to move and think about my body. She also encouraged taking videos of her doing different movements to reference later. She is so positive and encouraging and I could tell she really prioritized teaching me things aligned with my goals and that I can do later on my own. She genuinely cares about her clients' wellbeing and teaches legit principles that will last a lifetime. I am forever grateful to Pam for helping make my body, mind and spirit stronger and I can't recommend her enough!

Pam Markee is an incredibly knowledge personal trainer and always upbeat & optimistic! I have terrible shoulders (genetic) and she’s always mindful of how to strengthen them without putting my safety at risk by teaching me how to safely use work out equipment. She’s also taught me how to run a marathon - I’ve completed 3 full marathons so far!!

I've been a client of Markee Personal Training since 2007and meet with Pam for one-hour sessions each week. Pam is a caring, inventive and resourceful trainer. Despite the length of time I've been working with her, I'm still learning - either exercises or new techniques and continue to be challenged.
Pam has been very creative if I've been injured to allow me to continue workouts and recover faster. I would highly recommend Pam to anyone who is looking for an individualized training program and who values developing a relationship with his/her trainer.

As a health care professional, I have personally referred several people to Pam as I had heard nothing but raving reviews of how much she had helped. Then, I had a bad accident, severely tearing my shoulder and after surgery and conventional physical therapy, my progress came to a standstill. I decided to see if Pam could help my progress and I began to see improvements with every visit. Every visit was unique as she evaluates movement, strength and range of motion before thinking and creating a plan of action. Pam not only teaches, she encouraged videos with my phone as she demonstrated all the exercises we did each visit for reference. After several visits I had a full recovery, something my surgeon said would be unlikely with the extent of damage I had experienced. Pam is not a "one trick pony", she has an arsenal of knowledge and experience to tailor a very personal program.

My wife and I have been working with Pam for at least two years now. She goes far beyond any expectations you might have of a personal trainer. We've never met anyone in this field with such a complete background in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, even body and myofascial work. If you're used to gym trainers, this is not that - it's many levels above. Pam's studio is a well-equipped, comfortable, and private space - usually just you and your trainer. Pam has invested hundreds, if not thousands of hours in her education in this field, and you'll come away from each session knowing more and feeling stronger. She works with people of all ages, shapes, and abilities, from athletes in their prime to middle-aged and very elderly folks keeping up their health and strength. Pam's approach relies on her knowledge and a structured program, but also on her inherent kindness, understanding, and encouragement. That said, it's still a workout - and for me, the results have been great. Be good to yourself and start working out here too.

Lanell at Markee Personal Training is the perfect trainer for us. We were referred by a very satisfied friend. Lanell knows the needs of mature clients and how to meet them. She puts the "personal" in personal trainer. Lanell listens to how you are feeling, what your goals are, and tailors the sessions accordingly. She is so motivating that you can't help but succeed. We like the feel of a small private studio for training over being in the midst of activity at a large gym. We are so pleased that the three people we referred signed up. One was our mother who worked with Lanell into her 90's. Mom raved about Lanell and how great she felt with improved balance and strength which led to no falls! Without a doubt, Markee Personal Training improves the quality of your life.

Highly Recommended! Pam has been training my wife and I for over 11 years, and she's been a terrific help to us both. She's an excellent trainer, but far more than that. She's also helped us with nutrition and injury recovery, with her deep knowledge in all areas of health. Pam created a different customized workout for each of us, and encouraged us every step of the way with a careful approach. Her Gray Institute certification also comes in very handy. It's like having a trainer, physical therapist, and nutrition coach all rolled into one package. She really cares about her clients and gives 100%. If your'e looking for a dependable, caring trainer who will get you into your best possible condition look no further!

Pam Markee is a wonderful person and an amazing trainer. A few years back she fixed my very painful frozen shoulder. This was after going to physical therapy through my medical plan. They said that couldn’t do anything else and that in time it should work out on its own. Pam has me moving it after our first session! She is truly a professional and very knowledgeable trainer. I have and will continue to highly recommend her.

I can truly say that working with Pam has been life changing. As an older person she introduced me to the book "Younger Next Year." To reduce the effects of aging you need to build strength and endurance with regular exercise. I've really become a believer as I see the effects over time with a calculated, progressive, professional program designed by Pam.

Outstanding! Everything I hoped for and beyond. No joke. I have found a trainer in Pam Markee that is helping me reach my goals. I’m a really tough client. I’m a “former” athlete, and I have a load of chronic injuries that have made me lose fitness to scary levels. Markee training has the physiology knowledge, the human understanding, and the training skills I need to overcome whatever is slowing me down. Her gym is well equipped and she meets me one to one. She watches, she listens, she formulates a plan and I’m telling you, in 27 years of dealing with injuries her work enlivens me.

Thanks to Pam, I have been getting stronger and healthier. She offers completely customized personal workouts. She pays attention to my personal health situation which causes weakness on one side of my body, and she carefully compensates for it. I am thankful for her help as I know I could never do this on my own, and would not receive the attention to detail that she provides, if I were to go to a standard gym. Most of all she is patient, calm and truly a lovely person. Go to her. Worth every cent. Highly satisfied. Don't kid yourself: she is gentle but firm. You will see results!!!
